GH's Kelly Monaco To Star In Hallmark Channel Movie

ABC Soaps In Depth is reporting General Hospital's Kelly Monaco is slated to star in the Hallmark Channel movie, The Edge of The Garden. Monaco will play Julie Rice, fiancee of Rob Estes' (Ex- Harry; 90210) character. No word on the movie's airdate.
Fear not Sam fans, the magazine states the actress traveled between L.A. and Vancouver to work on both GH and the movie.

I know people moan about those cheesey Hallmark movies but at least they hire soap actors. That's a plus in my book. Hey, even Lisa (don't know her name, from GH) is doing two of them. It's web soaps and Hallmark that's hiring soap stars. Hey, who else can do a movie in ten days.

I like some of the movies that are on Hallmark such as the "The Note" (and the Note II) starring Genie Francis and "The Good Witch's Garden" starring Catherine Bell from Army Wives and again there was two of those made. If I remember right Genie's "The Note" had the highest viewers and it just blew them (Hallmark)away
I read somewhere that Kelly was playing the ex-fiancee but it doesn't matter because I plan on watching her if she is ex, or new or the dead one coming back to haunt someone. LOL

I'm a true romantic, I love my Hallmark movies, I'd watch no matter who was in it. But, congrats to Kelly, it's nice to see soap stars venture into other things.
