Best of the day : Robin telling it as it is to Lisa ! And refusing to talk to Patrick. Kim McCullough is rocking these scenes.

Worst of the day : Lante as boring if not more (if it is even possible) as ever ... and of course it has to finish with Guza showing us that they are going to have sex and JMB in underwear AGAIN ... But I loved the "Dante is dreaming of Brook in his bed" part. And Brook spreading doubts was awesome ... Be prepared Lulu, I just hope that we will be done with this horrible couple soon.

Congrats to Michael for having figured that his mom doesn't forgive that easy but Lulu is too stupid to have figured it out even if she knows Carly pretty well.

Always nice to see the trio Cam, jake and Spencer. GH kids are such cuties

A full day without Sonny. GREAT ! Too bad we cannot get a day without his spawn Dante ...

Nice to get a glimpse of Matt. Nice Kristina and Ethan scene. Good that the writers remembered that Kristina was playing "I am your fake girlfriend" with Johnny 2 months ago as usually they forget what they write from one week to the next.

The Spencer brothers scenes were weird I agree but were still nice to watch.

I have been able to tolerate Jasam today (which is a lot for me) especially because they always look better when Lante is on at the same time as them as they are still hotter to watch than Lante (and we don't need to see Jason or Sam half naked all the time...).

Really enjoyed Jasam today!!! The cabin scenes were delightful!

Robin's scenes were well done as were Patrick's. I'm glad Robin had Maxie to confide it and I'm glad Patrick filled Steve in and that Maxie filled Lucky in since I'm sure things are going to take a turn for the worse with Lisa.

Brooklyn sure has a lot of chutzpah! It was interesting that Michael figured everything out but Lulu is still in the dark. I wish I could enjoy it more but I still don't feel Chad Duell. He just doesn't seem like Michael to me. It's as if he's an entirely new character and I keep waiting for the real Michael to show up. Perhaps if he were a better actor or had more than two expressions but as it stands I just find him boring.

No Sonny and no Brenda for a day!!!!!

The Lante scenes were ok until they started undressing. I don't think I'd be giving in that soon if I'd caught my boyfriend about to have sex with someone else, especially someone as hot as Brooklyn.

And Perkie I do believe you are correct. Michael left in the same clothes he slept in. I don't think he even had a chance to shower or brush his teeth. He couldn't have gotten out of there any faster. Disgusting!

Nice scene with Ethan and Kristina. Wise words and at least she wasn't whining or screaming.

I enjoyed all of Lucky's scenes even if the ones with Ethan were odd!!

Good point Sassy ... I wonder if Lulu would have still taken her clothes of if she had known that Brook Lynn was the one Dante was dreaming was in bed with him before she showed up ... Nightare ? Of course Dante ... keep convincing yourself of this !

Lulu is in for a rude awakening in the end I think but she won't say that people didn't warn her about this a million times !

wtf was up with Dante having an erotic dream about Brook Lynn and then later on telling Lulu Brook is like a sister to him? I don't know many guys who have erotic dreams about women they think of like a sister. otherwise, I thought the Lante scenes were deadly boring.

I liked the Ethan and Kristina scenes. They have a cute friendship.

Loved the way Robin talked to Lisa. Glad she focused on the big issue which was Lisa taking Emma. Kim Mc. has been really great so far with this. Also liked the Robin/Maxie scenes, GH needs to show more family scenes.

I like Steve. Too bad he doesn't seem to have much to do.

It always cracks me up how there's always a conveniently furnished cabin in the middle of the woods for people to hide out in.

Haven't watched today's ep yet but regarding Chad Duell, I feel like he is not comfortable in his body, like an adolescent who's had a sudden growth spurt. Playing into this perception, the wardrobe department can't seem to fit him properly, he always seems to be busting out of his clothes and the clothes don't seem to have any personality. He should dress like Jason or Sonny since that's the life he wants. And since I am criticizing wardrobe, I'll throw in the hair dept too and simply ask WTH with Chad's hair?

Let me say that these are observations of Chad and criticisms of the GH wardrobe and hair departments. I should also admit that I haven't ever liked Michael, he has now been played by 3 actors and so it has to be the character.

Hmmm, I liked Michael confronting Brook - calm, matter-of-fact, and did not buy her story. This Michael I can tolerate. Same old Krissy, everything is about her, all her fault, and certain types of bad guys are a-okay with her. Barf. I do like that Patrick is owning up to his part in his mess. Love Lisa - she is spot on with her wackiness. Again, sick to death of Dante. Loved the Jason and Sam scenes. Note to GH hair people - what are you doing? I was really getting distracted from all the bad hair going on.

I don't think Dante thought of it as a erotic dream.I think he thought of it as a nightmare about incest and was grossed out at the idea that he almost had sex with someone that he thinks of like a sister.

I see this dream as a nightmare for Dante I mean the minute he saw it was Brooke in bed he jumped.

JaSam - It is beyond painful, he doesn't want to lose her, please the girl is harder to get rid of than a cold sore

Ethan & Lucky - Do I see foreboding to Lucky not being a "good guy" anymore.

I liked Krissy & Ethan, it was a very good moment.

Robin while I commend you not killing Lisa right there and then, I am completely against airing my business in public.

RH looked beautiful today (as usual), and I love any scenes with Cake. I will miss them when RH is on maternity leave.

Robin scenes were phenomenal. KMc was pitch perfect in everything she did.

Kristina is a spoiled, self-centered moron.

I want more of Steve. I want him to have a legitimate love interest and/or storyline. He is a good actor and I want to see more of those abs

Jasam was ridonkulous once again. I love how he qualified his idea to go away with her by saying "hopefully" and "once things settle down". His life never settles down and she will always come after whatever crisis or problem Carson's family is having at the moment. As far as losing Sam, a fat man at a all u can eat buffet would have a better chance at losing weight than Jason has of losing Sam. She will probably die on his couch eating chinese food.

Do you mean when she was talking to Lisa or when she was talking to Patrick?  Because with LIsa, they were off to the side and I don't think anyone was paying attention.   With Patrick, yes, she had an audience, but I think it was more of an immediate reaction rather than a premeditated attack (like Lulu on Liz).

Robin and Kimberly McCullough were really good again! I loved everything she said to Lisa. I laughed when she told her to wipe that stupid smile off her face, and then called her a homewrecking whore. I wish they would have had Lisa drug Patrick or for there have been serious problems scrubs to cause his cheating. As it is, I don't really see any reason for her to forgive him which is sad. It is also a disservice to Patrick who had been 100% committed to their marriage and family for YEARS, so even though Robin's Stone stuff, Sonny stuff, and leaving for Africa was annoying, I he still had no reason to cheat when he did. As limited as the actress may be, I am still enjoying crazy Lisa.

Even though the scene was weird and a bit unnecessary, I like the Spencer brothers getting along.

What was the point of that wyndemere scene? I think they have done block taping for decades, but whoever is in charge of editing or continuity these days (or lack thereof) should be fired.

As a fan of the Lulu and Dante characters and pairing, I can admit when their writing is bad. Yesterday was one of those days. First off, that dream/nightmare-what the heck was that? I thought some of their scenes were completely unnecessary. I thought Lulu forgave him days ago, so why is she still mad at him? BrookLynn was ridiculous when she called herself a victim. As far as people saying the truth when they are drunk/drugged, that might be true, but Dante never said anything that bad. He pretty much just said she was hot, not that he had feelings for her or wanted her.

Having said that, if I can admit a couple I like have been boring or poorly written, can Jasam fans do the same? Everythinga bout them yesterday was either boring or jsut plain silly. Sleeping outside?-Could they not have found a phone somewhere and had someone pick them up? That ankle sprain yesterday was dumb and borderline abusive. If him barely guiding her can sprain this "tough chick's" ankle, then maybe he should take it a little easy at the gym.(He's already lost his neck) And how many "abandoned" cabins in the woods can there possibly be? What could he have possibly made from canned goods that have been there for God knows how long that could be described as amazing and send her into a self effacing tailspin about how she burns toast? And finally, another shootout for these two, really? I know they are supposed to be some action adventure couple, but give me a break. They are no Anna and Robert, Frisco and Felicia, or Luke and Laura.

I just realized that I didn't watch this show yesterday. That has to be a bad sign. What happened to Jason's cell phone? I know the goons smashed Sam's but Jason had one. Did I miss that explanation?

I can't say I am sorry that I missed Jason talking to Sam. They have some of the stupidest stories and scenes. She hurt her ankle again? Falling off her shoes? Again? How many times is that? And, if you are an experienced PI, wouldn't you know better than to wear shoes you can't walk in when planning to sneak around for information? My mother told me he had to carry her. SHe's like a growth he can't get rid of.

Are all the cabins in and around Port Chuck, decorated by the family from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre? I mean really can't one person own a cabin that appears to be from this century? I guess I am spoiled from all my years of GL and Cross Creek.

Interesting that to become a voice of reason on GH, you need to have mental trauma. We saw it first with Laura and now with Michael. Did they get a psych degree when catatonic/in a coma?

Lante were so lame yesterday. They have zero chemistry and their stupid scenes would almost make me laugh if I had not the feeling that their never ending scenes could be much more interesting screentime if given to OTHER characters like Kate, Helena, Alexis, Tracy, Diane, Edward...

Lulu, he says he loves you but less than one hour before he was dreaming of having Brook in his bed ... What a jerk.

Wildkitty and Raven, for me a "nightmare" would have been Dante dreaming of finding 10 Brooks in underwear in his closet, in his fridge, under his table, everywhere ... Here he dreamed of her in bed ... Not sure Mr Freud would conclude that it was a simple "nightmare" where a guy was thinking of his "sister" ending by accident in his bed.
Dante should start a little introspection because between what he said to Brook drunk and drugged when he knew perfectly that he was talking to Brook and dreaming of her in his bed, there is clearly something wrong there. And last time I checked rohypnol makes you lose your inhibitions not make you say things you don't think.

I loved that Dante reminded Loo Loo of when he found her drugged and took him to his place (to protect his cover instead of bringing her for checking at the hospital, that was great already ...), she was all over him and he didn't take advantage of her. Except that she was all over him because SHE WANTED HIM (no inhibition any more). So Loo Loo should have asked him then if it meant that he wanted Brook as he was all over BL ?
This couple is really painful to watch and I hope our pain will be ended soon by this couple beeing broken up for good AT LAST. But in the meantime be prepared guys, we have another painful love scene to swallow next week apparently. Puking already.

But Brook has some guts ! Wow she was fantastic today and got the upper hand again on Lulu after that slap back when she left with her final comment about how she will wait for him. She is feisty, beutiful and fun so it's tough not to side with her with the opposite alternative is Loo Loo ...

I will agree with Aramis that the Jasam star shines all the more (even when you don't care about them like me) compared to Lante. They are much more attractive to watch and don't go at it like rabbits every two seconds. However, perhaps because I didn't listen that much to what they say, can someone tell me why none of them could call Spinelli or Bernie or Sonny to get some help ? Did both of them lose their cell phone or are out of battery ?

Scrubs and to be more precise Robin remains the highlight of the week. So good that they are for a few seconds the focus instead of Sonny/Dante (it has been more than a year - beginning of July last year - that we have not been given a Sonny + Dante free day, can I already ask this as my future XMas gift please please please ?).

I am torn about Ethan love life. He doesn't have any chemistry with Maya but more with Kristina. But Kristina looks like a 14 year old. In the end, I thought the idea of some posters that Ethan should end up gay could be an interesting storyline. Attracted to Johnny ? Not sure ... But he has more chem with Johnny than with anybody else on the show. Ethan and Lucky were cute to watch, you can feel the brothers vibe but the conversation was really strange ... as was Lucky's face at the end of it ... I don't want Lucky to leave the PCPD as he is the most valuable cop of it (compared with Ronnie the rotten cop and Dante who tampers with evidence without any problem and comply with the law only whenever it suits him personnally ... )

Nik and Liz ... Don't really care except for the opportunity to see the kids. Cam is a diamond and Spencer and Jake are cute too. Add Josslyn to the mix next time ?

I love Dante and Lulu together. Sometimes the writers do a horrible job with their lines. But, they are sweet and have had chemistry from the beginning.

And, I believe the dream Dante had showed him thinking it was Lulu until he saw Brook's face and freaked out. Come on people, when the Dante and Lulu pairing first happened you all liked it; for that matter you all liked Dante!

It's the writers who get bored or lazy with the storytelling.

Nonnie, when Sonny first appeared I liked him , I loved him. I cannot stand him now. Aren't people allowed to change their mind ?

And at the beginning of the Lante pairing, Dante was still Dominic Pirelli, a cop we thought was here to bring Sonny to jail. That was interesting even if personnally I have never seen any chemistry between him and Lulu (him and Claudia or Carly yes, Lulu ? No).

Since then he has perjured himself twice,
Since then he has sent his brother to jail,
Since then he keeps patronizing everybody about what is right or wrong when he shouldn't even wear a badge right now
Since then he has behaved like Caveman with both Lulu and Brook,
Since then he has yelled at his mom several times,
Since then he has turned Lulu into the worst we have ever seen of her character since she joined the show,
Since then Lante has been given the tackiest love scenes and the net is still making fun of blurred boobs and DZ naked
Since then Lante has gotten more than 4 times more acreentime for romance/love scenes than the number 2 of this ranking Jasam ... 4 TIMES !!!
Since then Lante is shoved down our throat again and again.

So excuse us if for all these reasons a very large majority has overdosed over Lante and cannot stand them anymore. Even DZ and JMB recently acknowledged this change of opinion of the GH viewers and how hated their two characters currently are.

"I hate Lante" groups have been created on Twitter, on Facebook and after Lisa and Ronnie they are apparently the characters receiving the highest number of negative letters at Prospect. I don't condone that and I am not a member of any of these groups but I have for sure written negative letters about them as letters are the type of feedback that TPTB look the most at (considering we have to pay for a stamp...). It is just a fact.

So if you still like this boredom that Lante is, good for you, I have no problem with taht but please do not patronize us about who we liked and who we didn't because since Dominic has turned into Dante and betrayed us viewers who believed in him, I am done with his character and with his pairing. And believe me I won't change my opinion soon. And I can't wait for the "real angst" as Guza wrote it to start for them. Bring it on so we can have fun !

And regarding the erotic dream/nightmare ... Bring it to any shrink and I am ready to bet a lot of money that the shrink will see more than a simple "nightmare". As I said it was not 10 Brook in underwear harrassing him everywhere in his apartment. It was Brook IN BED with him and happy of their lovemaking ... I think the term in psychiatry is "transgression" no ?

So if I dream about zombies and killing people is that something I want to do subconsciously? I mean I have dreamt about things that happen to be weighing on my mind during the day? I've dreamed about my boss, movie stars random people on the street does that mean I want them...NO.

It could just be a dream because they were the last thing I thought about or the last thing I saw.

So for me Dante having a dream waking next to Brooke is not erotic, now if he would of had the dream of the sex, or of him kissing her then yes I say he was having an erotic dream.

How exactly is anyone determining that the "majority" of viewers dislike Dante with Lulu? I don't think I have ever seen even a handful of posters agree on anything on this website. There are people who do not go on the internet. There are viewers who do not buy magazines. There are viewers who do not write letters to TV shows. I guess folks could say that there is a majority of the few people who do write in that dislike a character but "a very large majority" implies that there is a concensus among all viewers and I just don't think that could be true. My family can't even come to agreement on a flavor of ice cream to have. All viewers have come to a consensus on a soap couple? Sorry, I really don't think that is possible.

GHvetfan, I am sorry but it is obvious from the net comments (GHfacebook pages and the main boards DD, Soapzone and soapcentral which are the most visited) that there has been a huge "turnaround" about Lante.

Of course that it is only the "net world" but isn't it supposed to be at least what we can call a large sample (even if I will agree that my grannie still watch from time to time and does not post on the net LOL).

Even the dedicated Lante board has lost more than a hundred members the week of their first sex scene (which was also the week Dante turned Michael in !).. I am a member of that board...

You were speaking of the people not going on the net. But there is also the fan mail at Prospect which is regularly published (on a quaterly basis but sometimes we even get figures on a monthly basis). We know who receives the most mail and the display between positive and negative is also published ...
You must know that and have seen the figures and how bad they are for Lante.

You also have the abcInsider board ... which has also turned since from pro-Dante to "I hate Dante and Lante". And which has been organized so that Abc has a real panel of viewers.

Then you have JMB whispering to a few of us that it was cool that she had some people attending her event (I was THERE even if I hate Lante to show my support to my girl. Decided to go at the last minute but Julie was happy to see that she still has some of her "earlier hour friends") because she had heard from the show that Lante "was the most hated couple of the show" at that time.

So if you want to think that a majority of viewers still love them and think they are great and all, it is for sure totally your right of course ... but even Guza so well known for having short-lived love interests has suddenly gone from "loving" Lante to "liking" them. It has made some noise on the net this week as we all know what it means when Guza stops "loving" someone or a couple.

I am a die hard Lulu fan and I also found Dominic and Lulu cute at the beginning (until he kept dragging her into his mess when he shoudl have done everything to protect her and not put her in a position to betray her family). I can't stand the vision of them together and their stupid dialogues make me want to throw up my lunch each time.

Personnally I hate Dante with a passion now for what his character has done to Lulu. She has been reduced to a prop who doesn't do anything but speaking of Dante and having sex with Dante. I do not recognize her and it is all because of The Caveman.

Regarding the "erotic dream", Raven, dreaming of zombies and killing people also has a meaning LOL ...
And if I was dreaming of my boss in my bed (which would truly be a nightmare LOL), I would for sure be bothered and disturbed by such a dream ... Same for people in teh street ending in my bed and telling me that teh sex was great.

If TPTB wanted us to believe it was just a "nightmare" there was many other ways to do it (as Starto stated it ...) than putting Brook in his bed.

This die hard Lulu fan enjoys like crazy all the current Dante/Lante hatred and will be so happy when Lulu will at last be free of this nightmare and free from Dante !

And then keep her single for a while and give the amazing JMB some real storyline because as she recently mentioned it it is not with what she has been given as acting material for the past year that she will be able to get a third Emmy !

OK, no I must not know because I do not visit all of those websites that you do. I do not look for fan mail counts. I am not writing daily or weekly letters to ABC. I am not calling ABC to express either my pleasure or my displeasure. I am also nobody's Granny. I feel your implication is that it must be old folks who do not participate.

I think it is wrong to assume that because you (a random you and not YOU you)like something or participate in an activity that it means that it is at all popular. There are plenty of people who do not have the time to visit every Daytime website. There are plenty of people who may enjoy watching GH but do not buy magazines geared towards soap viewers. There are plenty of people who may watch GH but never go online and visit even one website devoted to it. I also think that it is possible that the many people who you speak of who are voicing their complaints are the same people on each of those websites as you are. I am not saying that it isn't possible for everybody out there to hate Dante. I am saying that it isn't very probable. It is more probable that a handfull of people are on several websites with a variety of screennames and they are stuffing ballot baxes left and right. I am not saying that because I feel my opinion has to be the correct one. I rarely expect anyone to agree with me nor do I require it. I am quite content with being the only one who feels how I do as I find I do not require validation in that manner. I just don't see that people will agree on any topic to the degree that you say everyone is.

Anyway, I was never a big Lulu fan or a Dante fan. I like them both seperately and together. Lulu was quite annoying there for a bit but that was prior to Dante ever being mentioned. I think they are really cute together. I don't mind Dante's "caveman" act as it is and was just a cute lil act. The guy treats his mother with respect. He has never treated Lulu with anything but respect. I don't love them. I would never travel across the country to get a chance to shake their hands but I also wouldn't travel across the country to shake my faves hands. Heck, I had Ron Howard and Mel Gibson downstairs in my building many years ago and I never went down to meet them and I have loved Ron Howard forever.

I just don't see a majority agreeing on anything when it comes to soaps.

OK ... if Lante is that big lovestory and still so loved, WHERE ARE THE RATINGS when they get their first date at the opera or when they had their first love scene (they got the WORST rating of GH sweeps of ALL TIMES) and they were overpromoted ...

And I am a die hard fan of JMB. I go to FCW because I leave close by and because it used to be fun and to exchange with other soap fans.
I had cancelled my participation to her event this year (after she had cancelled hers last year) when I learned it would be with DZ because I had no interest in listening to her pimping her storyline ... then she won the Emmy and she made a call to her fan club to get people to attend the event.
SO I went there. And I am happy because mixing with other fans is a way to "feel the trend".

I also post here from time to time but not on a regular basis because I find it more interesting to interact with other people too and not only the posters of one specific board who will keep posting most of the time the same things (me included).
I believe it is more interesting instead of dedicating half an hour to post only on this board (or another one) every day to use that half hour to go on a different board every day to get the "big picture".

But when you have stats and figures released by Prospect, sorry if I am also interested to see the trends because I love this soap and am very sad to see the ratings tanking so quickly since the show has focused on Sonny/Dante and forgot that the rest of PC exists and that they can have fans.

But letters and calls ? Yes ... TPTB keeps asking our comments and we know that they don't really care about what people are posting as comments on the Internet (except the Insider because they pick themselves who participate) ... So ...

In the end I bet that I don't spend more time than you on a daily basis on the net for GH. the only difference is that you spend it here systematically when I systematically prefer to visit different websites. That's why you don't see me her more than once a week maximum most of the time ... We just have different approaches I guess.

But we still both love Liz so I guess we can still agree on that ...

alexrochet - With all the soap stuff that you participate in it sounds like it's your full time job. I don't know how anyone could do all of that every day or who would want to and still have time for a life. No offense to you but I'm exhausted just reading your list!

GHvetfan - Although we don't agree on much I do agree with you that I don't know anyone except maybe alexrochet who visits that many soap websites on a daily basis and buys soap magazines and writes daily or weekly letters to ABC.

I'm lucky to have the time to watch the soaps that I like. But there isn't enough time in the day to hold down a full time job or be a full time parent or a full time student and have a life and still do all those other things on a daily basis in my opinion.

As much as I love GH it's not enough to commit that many hours a day reading, writing, analyzing and obsessing over actors and their storylines! It seems to me that there's a lot more to life than just GH or soap operas!

I fully agree with you both (except that I can't stand Lulu too, not only Dante, sorry Alex ...).
Don't waste your time on trying to convince people if I may dare an opinion.

I also visit other websites to have a larger picture of the posts/blogs/threads instead of focusing on here and here only.
I agree with you that there has been a big turning point when Lante had sex while Michael was thrown under the bus by Michael. And it has gone worse and worse since, thanks to an over-presence of this couple on screen as well as poor and pathetic writing. Good for us Lante haters ...

So don't waste your time answering and go write another letter explaining why you hate them so much instead ? Just my humble opinion of course ... hope you will see that I am on your side anyhow.

For me, Lante is the worst couple of GH. They are not romantic, they are just plain boring and have zero chemistry. Their lines are stupid and terrible. Even the actors looked bored in their scenes yesterday. So lame ...

But of course AS USUAL they have to be in each segment. It would have been nice to see Matt more and see Patrick confiding in him too. But no, why give Jason Cook 2 minutes of airtime when you can give him only 10 seconds (but it will still put him as 1 for the episode count) and give 12 minutes (or even more) to Lante ? Is it possible to NOT have them on screen 2 days in a row (don't even ask for Dante out as I know he has to be on EVERY DAY of EVERY YEAR and that's how in 6 months he ended with 15 more episodes than Sonny ! 3 full weeks ! And Lulu/JMB ended up in front of Carly/LW just for pimping Dante and saying his name at least 47 times in a single episode as starutory recommanded so that the GH viewers that we are will be brainwashed and repeat with Lulu "Dannnnnte, Dannnnnnnte" !

Why can't they leave to tour the world and come back only in one full year ? No Dante ... No Lulu ... GH would be so much better and we would get back a minimum of 10 minutes a day for other characters of the show ... Just a dream ...

And of course it has to end with them making out on Michael's couch and Dante undressing Lulu... Gross as usual ... Classless and tacky as usual ...

At least we had Scrubs to remind us what a real soap couple is ...

By the way, I really like Lucky/Maxie more and more...

PS : GHvetfan, I wouldn't want to shake Mel Gibson's hand either ...

PS2 : Ravennite, I would also find it weird to dream of having my boss or anybody else in my bed. Dreamed of my boss visiting my place and things like that ... But in my bed ? I would for sure didn't feel well in the morning if it happened to me (and mine is really a hottie and a sweatheart ...)

Sassy - Thanks. I don't think we do agree on much but I am sure there has to be at least something.

I guess my point is being missed. I just think that it is absolutely impossible to say what the majority think on any topic. There are too many people who are not being counted.
