The Talk Hits Airwaves Oct. 18

Deadline is reporting that the CBS gabfest The Talk will deubt on October 18 from 2-3pm. The show, which will replace cancelled sudser As The World Turns, will delve into topics from a mother's perspective. Julie Chen, Sara Gibert, Holly Robinson Peete and Sharon Osborne are all slated to appear.

These network programmers have little or no imagination when it comes to naming these programs. THE TALK? Gimme a break. I'm surprised they didn't name it THE AFTERNOON SHOW since CBS already has The Early Show and the Late Show.
At least they didn't copy NBC. NBC came up with "The Fourth Hour of Today".......

I'm leaving CBS airwaves on October 18; I've ordered 200 channels, I'll be watching Gameshow Network or Retro TV, and I have HBO and Show Time.
