Why is it that soap characters never remember it’s rude not to knock on someone’s door before inviting him or herself in? Maybe things like Janet (Julie Pinson) catching Dusty (Grayson McCouch) in bed with another woman wouldn’t happen if they did. Also this week on As the World Turns, Carly (Maura West) discovers Craig (Jon Lindstrom) has gotten himself into another mess and Reid (Eric Sheffer Stevens) encourages Chris (Daniel Cosgrove) to tell Katie (Terri Colombino) the truth. This is all decent stuff, in my opinion. ATWT still has great dialogue to offer. And even though we already know how all the storylines will end (thanks to the Gout for blabbing his head off), I'm still savoring the last five weeks with characters I've been watching since I was in junior high and had those disturbingly moist dreams of Brian Bloom.
