I do think that Maria and Co. have been somewhat true to the character of Sharon in their writing. From the time she came on, Sharon has been a small town, insecure girl with daddy issues that she tries to solve by picking the wrong men, usually men with money. Where MAB and Hogan went wrong is in never really showing Sharon learning from her mistakes or dealing with her issues. In a town full of tramps, they still manage to make her look like the biggest one of all. That is not fair at all to the character.

I am so happy that Sharon Case got to be #1 on here. She got snubbed by the emmy's(which were a joke by the way). She has done a great acting job the past two years and never really gotten credit for it. I agree w\ capwell's comment they need to quit making her character look like a tramp and start having her deal w\ her issues.
