Last Night, The Colbert Report's Stephen Colbert did a special segment on keeping up with the latest news of the day: General Hospital news. Apparently, Colbert hasn't been watching since Sonny (Maurice Benard) shot Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). Watch after the jump.

ROFLMAO.....in his defense ABC seems to want to make it very clear that Sonny shot Dante...since they have aired this episode 132 times since the original shot rang out.

The joke was that Stephen was laid up sick so it gave him time to catch up on the "news". Isn't that the only time that some people watch soaps

I love it. He's got a pic of Rick Springfield behind his desk. When Springfield came back to GH, Colbert had him on and talked about it for a week straight. I mean were your poked fun on Colbert Show and Letterman it's great. Not so great on The Soup.
