Good! I don't like the way they left things with his character. He should remain in GC at the Chancellor mansion on a recurring basis.

This means more screentime for Nina...yay! Hopefully he'll reunite with Cricket as well.

anyway, Y&R is in decline and his acting chops will just speed up the process. Yep come on down TB. Because I can't wait to see their ratings be at 2.3 which is where its heading.

I'm sorry, but P3 came off hella pompous and detached last time he was onscreen.  He was all up his own butt like, "I had to fake my death, send some orphan Aussie in my place, and not contact anyone for 20 years because America wasn't ready for a gay guy in the eighties."  Boy, bye!  Maybe it was the writing for him, but I wasn't impressed.  Veterans, please tell me:  Could TB act back in the day?

I like this little guy alot so I am happy about this.
I just hope a better story is penned this time.

Great news! I've always like Phillip and the actor. I also agree that I hope this means more Nina now (she should be back for good) and maybe Cricket (Sorry, christine) will be back for a longer stint than planned.

I'm glad that TB is given another chance but Maria HAckrena Hell with ruin this like she ruins everything.

Thom Bierdz may not be a GREAT actor, but he's a significant part of this show's history, and one of the few gay actors/characters that are being represented on daytime. If he does return, I will welcome him with open arms---not only for being a SURVIVOR (read his autobiography if you don't know his life story, it's a real DOOZY, folks!!) and a PROUD gay man who is not afraid to be who or what he is.

Besides, if we wanna talk about crappy actors, this is the same show who OPENLY welcomed/welcomes such horrible actors as Yvonne Zima, Clementine Ford and Amelia Heinle. And how many horrible actors are there on OTHER soaps who have been working for DECADES that TPIC are afraid to fire because they are fan favorites??? I can name at least 5 of the top of my head. Being a soap star and being a good actor aren't always synonymous.

yes AlstonBoy....I wasn't going to mention his book but it's a doozy.....talk about coming back from true horror.

It was compelling and unpleasant at the same time...I was only able to read it in portions.

I am ashamed to admit that I didn't read the book at all. LOL!! I have gone to his website, though....and read his interviews. I think I read the book review on amazon.com, and I ALMOST ordered the book. He's certainly been through hell.

I think he's more interested in his art career than acting. I remember him saying that if he had to choose, he'd choose art any day of the week. I guess business isn't doing that great for him right now???

Either way, I would totally welcome him back in a heartbeat.

Anything to get away from this tripe that is on Y&R now. I just got through watching Adam in the vent torturing Patty through the air vent. How stupid can this show get? I'm SICK of Adam and I hope they focus on other storylines soon with the possible return of Thom Bierdz

Hopefully they can make amends for the mess they made last summer. I want to see Phillip actually reconnect with Jill, Nina, and Katherine. Phillip returned, but his whole story was about Cane and Lily's break-up and his trying to reconnect with Chance.

Jill will need her son now that she lost Liz and joined the Fenmore clan. Isn't it fun that Phillip is Lauren's nephew???

History, shimstory. He sucks as an actor and his "delivery" was about as exciting as listening to the weather.

Besides, this storyline was DUMB from the beginning. He pretends to be dead because he can't tell his family he was gay? GMAB. Guess he's never heard of MOVING AWAY if he thinks his family can't handle the truth.

And please tell me they're not going to bring up with whole cattle rustler thing because that would just be BEYOND dumb.

Sorry, but cardboard has more presence than TB. I used to like him back in the day, but after last summer's fiasco, they should just move forward.

sigh...we tried it with him once and he should never be allowed to try and act on anyone's screen EVER again! He was a hot mess and I don't care what history he has with the show. He should NEVER be allowed back in CBS studios.

Thom is a nice person and hope that he is better, but the s/l will be awful.

I have always loved Phillip. But the last time he came back it was a little boring. The reason; he wasn't connected into his own history or family.

PlEASE REMEMBER HE IS Jill's SON and the only heir of Phillip Chancellor II. He needs to have some interest and involvement in his mother's new Fenmore story. So should Billy and Chance.

If I just tuned in I would think Jill was a old maid with no children or family.

Thom is a very important part of Y&R I do not like the way they butchered his character last year they should keep him hetero or bi! I do believe he she should remain with the show on a reoccuring basis as well as become head of Chancellor Enterprises.
