Ronan Malloy. Such an eighties leading man name. As so snarkaly mentioned from ppl here and all over the net, Maria lives for her TMC & AMC (though not for the brilliance of Breaking Bad or Mad Men) channels.

I LOVED SEEING HIM ON MY SCREEN I thought he was great for the minute we saw him..hahaha I'm really looking forward to seeing more of him and how his character unfolds! Before you know it all of GL will be over at Y&R!

All of GL without the sometimes decent material which still carried the show in its last year. Marcy Rylan's material has been unbelievably terrible. Eden Reigel and Stephen Nichols have had lousy material. I will be surprised if Branson is any better off.

I hope they don't make the character related to anyone, hell the need some more man meat to pass around on this soap and cut down that sexing family members crap.

He was OK. Too soon to tell. He's on for the summer.

I love the actor from GL, but when he said, "Call me Ronan," I groaned aloud. What is with these STUPID names?! Reminds me of Tangie from GL. Another "oy vey"! name.

The dialogue, for the most part, on Y&R over the past few days has been HIDEOUS. I found his opening line to be contrived and ridiculous, but I am a Jeff Branson fan, and I am sure that he will rise to the occasion when the time comes for him to knock it out of the park.

Again, Maria has been dropping the ball A LOT lately, so I hope that she doesn't abuse and misuse his character like she is doing with so many others. I want an INTERESTING story. And if he turns out to be Nina's long-lost child, as SOME rumor mills have been speculating, all the better. Even though I still find it difficult to imagine Tricia Cast having a child as OLD as Jeff Branson. They look like they could be girlfriend and boyfriend in real life--- not mother and son.

I gotz no doubt in my mind that RONAN, not Heather will be what breaks up Chance and Chloe. C'mon...His former AMC Character may have been a Giant A-Hole to Hers, but EH and JB are adorable together.

Is it just me or do I think Miss Hendrickson works great with ANYONE??!

Isn't it funny tho (and I'm alluding to the Rumor's Alsonboy mentioned - and I've seen too) that ONLY IN SOAPS could a person show up and be someone's long-lost-never-talked-about Child. I want to bang my head against the wall with this Jill / Lauren thing, but....whatever. I'll roll with it. And Laugh..

My first impression; why is he dress like a ganger and next is he on with the DA on the drug deal?

Because the DA reactions to that storyline is shouting lookee here, I am on the drug dealing, and I don't want that guy to talk about it!

The same with the new Heather, since I only saw her on IB where I loved her, she frankly is NOT shinning as an ADA, thank god she had for once a good suit on, but sometimes she talks like a little girl, not a powerful lawyer and she is not sexy like VB was!?!

At one time I would have been thrilled to see Nina's long lost child on the show but considering how casually they dumped the story with Phillip's return and how little they have done with Nina since her return, this story might only involve her for about two weeks. Then everything will become about Ronan and Chance being battling half-brothers and vendettas and all the rest.

It's not really a smart move to throw a new character in a storyline with a recast who isn't working. NuHeather is bombing do they want him to be failure too?
