James Franco and Kalup Linzy Reveal Upcoming GH Arc at L.A. Pride

James Franco was at L.A. Gay Pride this weekend with performance artist Kalup Linzy, who will appear with him on General Hospital as part of psychotic artist/serial killer Franco's return to the soap opera this summer. World of Wonder interviewed the pair, revealing that Franco is a fan of Linzy's work, which is inspired by daytime soap operas, and was apparently able to convince TPTB to write Linzy into the upcoming story arc. The pair filmed a scene from GH, across the street from where L.A. Pride was being held, according to the interview, and were shooting a documentary about Franco's GH stints. I guess if James Franco had been inspired by One Tree Hill, Brett Claywell would still be employed by ABC Daytime.
