B&B's Sarah Brown:"I Don't Think Agnes Is Crazy"
TV Guide's Michael Logan talked with three-time Emmy winner Sarah Brown about her potentially groundbreaking turn at the 37th Annual Daytime Emmys later this month. Should Brown win, the actress will be the first to win in all major categories. The soap superstar also dishes whether or not her The Bold and the Beautiful character, Agnes is carrying an unhealthy torch for Nick (Jack Wagner).
TV Guide Magazine: And after you got the axe — literally and figuratively — you walked right into a role at B&B! Let's discuss. Aggie is obsessed with Nick. Is this headed toward some fatal attraction type thing?
Brown: Oh, God no! In fact, when you say "obsessed" I cringe. I don't think Agnes is crazy and I don't think she's obsessed with Nick on any level.
TV Guide Magazine: Really? What show are you watching?Brown: I think she has a really healthy attraction to him. Of course, he is a married man so I guess it's not that healthy but it's human. She has been through a huge ordeal and this man stepped up and cared for her. She has respect for Nick, and I think Agnes would have let bygones be bygones if she had not found out about Bridget and Owen. It's not really an obsession as much as a deep love for someone she appreciates. She doesn't feel Bridget is good enough for Nick. Otherwise, I don't think Agnes would be making a play for him. [Suddenly realizes she just gave away a big plot point]. Which...uh...[coughs nervously]...she may or may not do in the future...

SJB looks so much lovelier with lighter hair. Her hair was WAY too dark on GH, it completely washed her out. I know the character was all tragic and gothic, but all the black and the black hair just did nothing for her face. She looks so nice in this picture!

GH was STUPID for letting her go. This woman is sooooooo talented, and her talents are being wasted on B&B with lackluster writing. One man's trash is another man's treasure.........(sigh!)

RebeccaJ, maybe on B&B most of the women are blond, but I watch GH, which was SJB's last show, and besides Carly, Lulu and Maxie (and now Lisa) the majority of the women on that show are brunettes. Liz, Robin, Alexis, Sam, Olivia, Kristina, I think Kate had darker hair, although hers looked reddish at time. I don't really count Monica (as a blonde) because she's never on. SJB looked washed out with the dark hair, plus I think she's a natural blonde, she was when she first joined GH as Carly back in 96, unless that was hair dye.

I hope Sarah makes history and takes it! I am predicting Maura to win, but Sarah is my darkhorse. Pretty much if Brown, Stafford, or West doesn't take it I will cry bullshit, b/c they had the best tapes.
As for her role on B&B, I shake my head, b/c she is basically a volcano waiting to erupt. You don't start of w/a bang and end w/a whimper and vice versa w/a talent like Brown B&B & GH!
