OLTL's Tuc Watkins Becomes "Desperate" Regular

Access Hollywood is reporting One Life To Live scene stealer Tuc Watkins , who is currently appearing in the off-Broadway play White's Lies, has now become a regular on Desperate Housewives. Watkins said :
They made me a series regular on Desperate Housewives next year, so that’s great and the timing works out perfectly,” he recently told AccessHollywood.com. “I’m doing the play for eight weeks and then when Desperate Housewives starts up again in mid-July, I go back to do that on a hopefully more [regular basis].

Like most things with ABC/.OLTL lately it was likely another 'misleading' statement to trick viewers to tune in to help boost their flagging ratings.....strange how they have continued to decline since Kish left...hmm...

Even w/ the DH deal, Carlivati and Valentini will keep accomodating Watkins’s schedule to the detriment of long term storylines on OLTL. They'll they take any scraps he throws at OLTL because IMO 1. they like the “publicity” someone from Primetime can garner for OLTL, 2. despite his lacking dramatic skills, they are enamored w/ his comedic acting and 3. there’s a common denominator between the 3!
Isn’t it obvious? Winkety wink! They’re natural brunettes! Brunettes stick together since blondes have more fun. LOL!
DH does not need him though. The gays were an inferior version to MF's Mitchell and Cameron. All rahm's character did was be the bitch, and all Watkins's char did was react to him. And DH actually wrote a good ending for them. They broke up after a mere 7 years after their "wedding" since they could not adopt a baby or get a surrogate. And all DH does is cast white people: Felicia Tillman, the vet from Roseanne that went bonkers during the grocery hostage arc, Katherine, her daughter, her doctor hubby, her psycho ex, the stripper, Dave, the painter bf of Susan, Angie Bolen, her son, her hubby, the Russian golddigger, the Fairview strangler, etc.
And now Tuc's char is a regular. Enough w/ the white characters DH! The Applewhites were given a crappy storyline and written out. Now they have the Wilhelmina Slater in their cast: Vanessa Williams. They better write more for her than for Watkins. DH is abt the women. The men should always be second fiddle to the women of Wisteria Lane.
