B&B's Winsor Harmon Bumped To Recurring
By Jillian Bowe on May 30, 2010

CBS Soaps In Depth is reporting Winsor Harmon has been placed on recurring status at The Bold and the Beautiful. In a statement to the magazine a B&B rep said:
Winsor Harmon is now on recurring status. It was a mutually agreed upon transition which will allow Winsor to pursue other projects while allowing B&B to have him remain as Thorne Forrester.

Code word for, "I am so sick of the backburner on here that I need to look for other means to support my family". I don't blame Winsor for going for other projects because Brad is sure is not using him. It is a shame because Thorne can be so much more than wallpaper. But AMC should pick him back up as Del. Have him come back and go after the Courtlandt fortune.

Brad Bell is TERRIBLE when it comes to balancing out his cast. He hires all these great actors, promising to use them effectively, and probably offering them the sun, moon and stars (like with Lesli Kay!) only to use them for five minutes and then replace their spot on the canvas with the first hair model that catches his eye. I used to feel that B&B deserved to be extended to an hour, but Brad has dropped the ball so many times over the past few years that I don't think I could stomach another 30 minutes of this foolishness each day.

JUST WALK AWAY. IT'S BAD ENOUGH WHEN TALENTED NEWBIES GET FRONT BURNER SL. IT'S EVEN HELL WHEN YOU'RE PASSED OVER FOR PEOPLE WHO CAN'T ACT....

I’ve always liked Thorne a lot more than I do the diva that is Ridge Forrester. Thorne gets treated more like some sort of visiting nephew than an actual son of the family….I agree that AMC should snap up Winsor. They should consider pairing him up with one of their girls, Kendall comes to mind.

Good grief, I thought he was on "recurring" for like the last three years!

This is too bad but honestly I am surprised it took this long for them to do this.
Thorne hasn't had a story in years.

Again, not at all surprised.
I think one of the most ridiculous thing to come out of B&B in the last few months was the fact that the "T" in Steffy's REST trust stood for "Taylor" and not "Thorne". I mean, c'mon! And then Windsor was supposed to play those scenes with a smile on his face as if it made sense for Taylor to be running the company instead of him.
Ridiculous.
