Barbara Walters to Undergo Heart Valve Surgery
By Luke Kerr on May 10, 2010

Today on The View, Barbara Walters announced that she will undergo surgery to replace a faulty heart valve later this week. She will use the summer to recover and will “come roaring back” this fall. When Whoopi asked if she is scared, Walters responded, "Nobody wants to have this kind of surgery... I don't think I'm really scared. I'm glad it's going to be over with. It's been on my mind for a long time." Watch Walters make the announcement after the jump.

Well, it's no secret that I don't like BW very much. I do wish the woman well though. ...I sense a new book coming....

I love Babs, and I await her speedy recovery!!! I am 99.99999% sure that she will come out of this with practically no problems at all. Best case scenario: After she recovers, she will reevaluate her life, realizing what a waste of time, energy and money keeping Elizabeth Hasslebeck on her payroll is, and subsequently firing her!!! A guy can hope, can't he???

While I do wish her well, I am certainly looking forward to her absence from the show. I'd much rather watch Elizabeth Hasslebeck than even listen to Babs babble on and on and on!

That's right AlstonBoy! It would be great if Liz got the hook!
I don't watch The Few but I don't have to watch it to know Liz doesn't belong there.
Best Wishes Barbara!
