Why is Christel Khalil constantly on this list? What the hell are people clicking on?!?! It's a sad day when Christel Khalil gets more clicks than Victoria Rowell. 

What criteria does Daytime Confidential utilize when choosing these people??? Talent? Beauty? Popularity? A combination of all three?

BTW: Nathan Parsons has a BEAUTIFUL head of hair!! I hope male pattern baldness doesn't run in his family, otherwise, he's in trouble!! LOL!!!!

Ugh, and Christel Khalil on ANY list above Kim Zimmer, Victoria Rowell and Crystal Chappell is ridiculous. I can slowly feel the chunks starting to rise in my stomach!!!

Vanessa Marcil on any list above Kim Zimmer, Victoria Rowell and Crystal Chappell also makes me slightly nauseous!! I will never understand the cult-like following that this actress has!! I just don't get it!!!

This list is based on which pages people click on the most, or visit.  It's not who the editor's think are the Top 20 in Daytime, it's whose name gets clicked on the most that month.

People don't seem to be getting this.  This isn't a list of favorites from the people behind this website.  This is what WE click on!!!  If we don't like it, we have no one to blame but ourselves. 

TV Gord--- I am sure that you're comments weren't directed at ME, but I will simply explain myself to eliminate any confusion!!!!

I was simply asking for clarification on how the rankings are compiled, because I have seen this list many times, but never really understood how the actors are ranked. I have only been a member here for a few months, and I am still learning how some things work!!!

Again, I must cringe and throw up in my mouth a little bit at how much "attention" Christel Khalil is getting!!! I am guessing it is due to her pregnancy and the recent birth of her child, because I know good and well it's not because of her magnificent skills as a thespian!!! I guess, Christel Khalil is always on the list because for some reason her pairing Lane/Lame has a big following.

Why would Victoria Rowell be on  the list anyway. What soap is she on nowadays?  I love it that Christel Khalil is on the list. Different strokes for different folks. I love it!!!!

People are always hating on Christel Khalil as if she did something to you personally.  Did she kick your cat?  Pee in your Cheerios?  All she did was accept a job offer (twice) and show up for work everyday.  She's a beautiful girl on the inside - one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. 

Is niceness an invitation to be kicked around by some faceless posters?

I don't understand your frustration. Do YOU know Christel Khalil personally??? LOL!! I don't know her personally, and I can't even say that I dislike her, but I simply can't comprehend why so many people want to view her page!! There are MANY actors that I feel are overrated, and I come on this website to speak my mind about it!! That's the point of this website, isn't it???

Every actor, regardless of how talented he or she is, has fans and people who are simply NOT gonna like them!!! It's part of life, and show business. Everyone has fans as and "non fans", and everyone has preferences!!! Christel is not everyone's cup of tea!!

We are simply exercising our RIGHTS to express ourselves!!! This is called "daytime confidential," so do we really need to show our faces???

Take a few deep breaths and chill out before your blood pressure flies through the roof!! This website is supposed to be for fun, not give you a stroke!!! 
 

I agree with Pure_Diva, Christel seems like a very nice girl, and it amazes me that people who believe the rantings of a certain washed up former soap diva, would hate such a nice Christian woman

CK could be Mother Theresa reincarnated it still wouln't change the fact, that in my opinion, she's a lousy actress, who plays a shitty and annoying character and she's one half of the very boring Lane.

But she obviously has a big following, so good for her.

I understand that CK's portrayal of Lily is not everyone's cup of tea.   It's just some of the personal digs that I don't get.  (I'm not necessarily talking about this thread specifically...  i had read some other threads prior to clicking on this one.)  Many threads in general often seem to shift from the character of Lily to personal digs about the actress herself.

We won't all like the same things.  I understand that.  We won't all like the same characters.  I understand that, too.  And trust - I won't have a stroke about that.  What I've always been confused about is how the dislike for characters seem to translate to personal insults. 

PS:
I used to be a diehard Lily-hater.  The only thing that made me pay any attention to her whatsoever was the Lane pairing.  So, it's not like I don't understand where some of the fans are coming from.

Amen. I must admit that if I had a choice between Davetta Sherwood and Christel Khalil, I would choose Christel in a HEARTBEAT. Never understood Davetta's appeal... Some people on this website can get a little heavy-handed with those personal attacks, though. Agreed. I am TRYING to not be as mean to certain actors, but I ain't making no promises YET...LOL!!!!
