I'm not surprised and she is a good actress and deserves better

Granted she wasn't the best actress and letting her go is not a bad thing, but she is not the first who should go.  I wish that they would fire Molly but they seem desperate to keep her and I don't know why. 

I've seen a few of this girl's past "performances," and quite frankly, she makes Molly Burnett look like Meryl Streep!! Glad to see DOOL raising the bar when it comes to casting their teenage characters. This girl belongs in acting class, not on a daytime soap. Maybe in a few years, she will have the talent and ability to be an asset to a show, as opposed to a liability. At least she doesn't have kids to feed or a mortgage to pay (I don't think she does).......Goodbye and good luck!!!!

I don't think they need to use the term "fire". She was let go for whatever reason but to say things like fired is not good for a person self esteem. I think she was a fine actress and she got better with time. Good luck to Taylor. So I guess Will and Chad will be fighting over Gabby now.

This has been a long time coming--she spoke all of her lines in a monotone--she really does belong in acting class.  On the up side, Chandler Massey (Will) was terrific last week when he had to really lay into Sami--he is such an improvement over Dylan Patton who had a perpetual puzzled look on his face,  Also, I would like to see them do more with Chad--Casey Deidrick has a very good presence and can act.  As for Molly Burnett, while she has improved, there is WAY too much of her on the show, and when she is not on, all of the other characters are talking about Melanie.  i also don't get why the show is so fascinated with her.

 I can't figure out which one she is on Days. Is she the waitress at the restaurant that gets into everyone's business? That girl is funny and should be on there more often.
 I agree that Melanie is on the show TOO MUCH! I'm not a big fan of hers, but can tolerate her if she's not on as much.

She's hardly been on much, so are we surprised at this, I think not.  If only other shows like *coughs* Y&R and B&B took this hint letting go of their lame actors.

Now i can give my fast-forward button a break. Thank you DAYS. 

And let's not forget AMC!! They need to put that old-assed HACK Judy Blye Wilson out to pasture, and fire that lame wardrobe designer as well just to kill two birds with one stone!!!!!

They went as far as they could go with her. The baby switch is over she had no family in Salem and her and Will bombed. They tried to make her a junior Sami for a bit but they finally decided to quit. She had plenty of time to improve.

its sad whenever someone is fired or let go i used to like mia but when they made her bad it backfired and her acting was off point and i couldnt stand seeing her on my tv screen i feel bad for her though cause from her point of view shes a young actress and this was her big break. kinsey off screen is her friend in real life and she overshadowed the character of mia with her humor i hope will and kinsey become a couple and kinsey should be on more hilarious

I'm glad.  I saw her purpose for the baby switch story line, but I haven't been impressed with her acting talent.  I think she's still very green and honestly, I feel like she's an island.  She has Will and Chad.  And I could do without Chad too so I'm not crying over the loss of her.  I actually fast forward through the teen scene.  Don't need Gabi while we're at it.  I like the VETERANS.  Give Adrienne, Maggie, Hope, Doug, Julie MORE screen time.  Slowly develop Will, he's still new and green.  Bring in Shane and Kim's kids on to the canvas if you want teens or whatever.  Jeremy Horton could come back or Nick Fallon or Abby Devereaux. 

Once Melanie, NOT Mia, was revealed as Carly's secret daughter, the writing was on the wall.  I wonder how they decided that one, coin flip?  Or maybe they did a chemistry test with Carly/Mia and Carly/Melanie and the latter won? 

This doesn't upset me. Taylor was an awful actress. She would do well on a Disney show but not a soap. While they're at it get rid of Chad and Gabby. Bring back Abby and Adrienne & Justin's kids. Keep nuWill though, he's pretty good so far.

Finally. It sucks losing a job, but Mia was the weak link of the teens by far. Once they introduced Chad, Gabby, and Kinsey it was aloha Mia!

I did like Mia better as a bitch than having her constantly whine & cry but I really won't miss the character....I'm another who doesn't understand TPTB's fascination with Molly Burnett....to portray her as some femme fatale that all the guys in Salem want to get with is so laughable! I say bring on more Horton, Brady, Kiriakis offspring....I'd love to see Justin & Adrienne's hunky sons in Salem, as well as Kimberly & Shane's kids...

I'm not a big fan of hers, but I do think she's a better actress than Molly Burnett. I'd actually perfer her as Melanie.
