Check Out The First Act of ABC's Scary, New Primetime Sudser Happy Town!

Won't you take me to, Happy Town? I just watched the first 14 minutes of ABC's upcoming drama Happy Town, and while I am bummed this series will be taking Ugly Betty's timeslot, let's just say I am still intrigued by the mystery sudser. Happy Town revolves around a series of unsolved kidnappings in the sleepy village of Haplin, Minnesota.Think Twin Peaks meets Everwood. The series stars Steven Weber (Wings, Brothers & Sisters), Geoff Stults (7th Heaven) Ben Schnetzer (son of Cass Winthrop himself, Another World's Stephen Schnetzer) and Lauren German.

Happy Town was created by Josh Appelbaum (Life on Mars, October Road), Andrew Nemec (October Road) and Scott Rosenberg (High Fidelity). The series premiere airs Wed. April 28, 2010. Check out the first act of the premiere episode after the jump.

I am very interested in this show.  It reminds me of Twin Peaks.  It looks like a good cast and I am hope Ben convinces his dad to do a guest spot.

Won't mind if the realtor is the next victim.
