It is clear that KISH fans will not go quietly into that good night but in the end will any of this make any difference?

ABC, if smart, will ignore it.  If not, they will just say where was all the support to help the ratings.  No, I don't believe for a minute that KISH is at fault for the ratings slide but ABC will use faulty logic.  And with the general public, faulty logic works.

I'm sorry, I'm confused: were they fired or just backburned completely aka put on reoccuring/"guest" spots?

Please note I'm not saying I agree or disagree with any of this; just asking a question. Thanks in advance.

Good luck Jenna.....wish i could be there in person but i will certainly be there in spirit....
Kish, Brett and Scott are defintely worth fighting for and have given me and millions of other a lot of happiness and they deserve our support.....hope ABC is smart enough to listen and reverse this ludicrous decision and keep the best couple they have ever had...

That's the caveat for me.  I don't believe KISH caused the ratings slide, but ratings haven't gone up because of them, so if I were ABC I would definitely use that logic.

Sometimes "fanbases" mean nothing in the long run.  Take Jericho. People rallied to save that show and in the end the ratings still fell flat.  What is the network to do?  It's a business and they are in it to make money.

We just have to see how ABC responds to this.

BTW, I plan on going to the rally to show my support.

Considering that I have either FF or deleted most of this week's shows cause OLTL was beyond boring....I gues...well, I'm starting to realize this show is over for me...sadly.

Whether this makes an impact or not it just shows me how these ABC soap executives have systematically alienated their audience and eroded the confidence of watching their daytime programming over the years on all three of their shows.

I've read  posts of people who are so turn-offed with the preferential  politics of ABC daytime its tuned them out of the network for the most part.

I mean its the same people who keep these daytime businessmen employed that  thumb their noses at soaps and mocks its audience  only  reflects their mindset across the board.

I'm just wondering if ABC has ever reversed a decision.

The last one I can think of is when they fired Nathaniel Martsen from OLTL when he played Al Holden, but because of fanbase outcry they brought him back as Michael McBain.

Great  Video!

AND it has motivated me! I have asked 2 of my friends to attend for me, being that I won't be able to make it this weekend.  ====== Good job! Hope everyone has gone over and given the author a rating ((every click counts!!!!))

With any luck,  the message is at least acknowledged by those it is speaking to... I can accept that the storyline is killed, I also would expect closure, even when out of courtesy to the fans. Bring them back to end their story and all is well!

Can't wait to read the followup!
