Charles Shaughnessy Back To DAYS

More of the Days of Our Lives' 80's gang is headed back to Salem!  TV Guide Magazine is reporting Charles Shaughnessy  will reprise the role of superspy Shane Donovan for a 10-episode stint, and maybe more. Shaughnessy starts taping as the ISA's top agent on March 22. No word on his first official airdate. With Kim Brady (Patsy Pease) rumored to be one of the returnees for Alice Horton's (the late Frances Reid) farewell storyline, will old Friends and Lovers finally be reunited? A girl can dream, can't she?

Oh I can't wait!!!I've missed Shane so much!But I still need my Jack and Jennifer,and John and Marlena to come back to say goodbye to Alice.

They keep bringing back all of these DAYS' "fan favorites"??? Is this the same show that claimed to have fired Deidre Hall and Drake Hogestyn for "budgetary reasons"???? They seem to have plenty of money coming from SOMEWHERE if they can rehire all these people from the past---Judi Evans, Wally Kurth, Louise Sorel, and now Charles Shaughnessy??? This just proves that they got rid of Deidre and Drake for OTHER reasons other than money!! I wish they would just tell the truth and be done with it!!!!

That's great! It must be for the farewell to Alice they are planning. I'm glad he has not forgotten his Days roots.
Love to see him again with Paty Pease.

days finally realised fans dont care for the newer faces they brought on...now they are recruiting vets like crazy.....they fired D&D only to have a surge of more expensive vets comin back...ummmm looks like some of the current regulars will be gettin chops very soon, once the budget tightens

cant wait to see how this blows up

Too bad Patsy Pease has aged so bad and got enhancements in the face so bad like Jacklyn Zeman.  She is a mess.  I loved her in the 80's   Charles still pretty much looks the same.  They will not look good together anymore.

I'm not sure if it costs that much to bring some of these names back on a short term or recurring basis. Judi Evans was selling funeral plots recently, I believe.

Shane and Kimberly: one of my all time soap couples from my teen years.  I haven't watched Days since the early 90s, but I think I will pop in to see Shane and hopefully Kim as well as the goodbye to Alice.
