Jillian's Y&R Spoilers!

Ashley: Family and friends attempt to make her realize Faith is really Nick and Sharon's daughter. Ashley refuses to fathom the baby she loves isn't hers and is hopeful Victor can prove everyone wrong. Billy and Jack wonder if their sister's starting to crack up again and are fueled further when she recalls Faith's delivery. Ashley relays the night she "gave birth," but her tale has key pieces missing. As she's telling her story, Ashley realizes she can remember being unconscious and coming to, but not being in labor. Meanwhile, Phyllis, Nick and Sharon swing by Ash's to visit with Faith where she's still firm on Faith being her child and not her former stepson's.

Once the trio finishes an awkward chat with Ashley, she kicks them out and lets Jack know she doesn't need him acting like a mother hen. Later, when Jack jumps in the shower, Ashley decides to take Faith and flee! While at the airport, Ash and Tucker run into each other and chat a bit where he figures out how fragile she is right now. Surprisingly, Tucker gives Ashley some food for thought. The rebel billionaire (snort) makes Ash ponder if she really wants to be on the run with Faith.

Adam: He goes to Jill with some interesting information.

Katherine: The grand dame shocks Victor and Jack with their pitch regarding Jabot.

Michael: He gets eye-opening news that may wreck his marriage.

JT/Victoria: The Hellstroms amicable divorce goes out the window when JT decides to fight for sole custody of little Reed. JT thinks Victor's effect on his son isn't in Reed's best interest. When Victoria finds out from Michael about JT's intentions, she is thrown for a loop. Later, she swings by Crimson Lights and bumps in to Billy where she opens up about her divorce. The two bond over families sticking together while JT and Mac have the same conversation.

JT lets Mac know all about his heated association with the Newman clan. Afterwards, JT and Victoria have a showdown where she tells him he's a punk for not telling her about his plans to go for full custody and demands he leaves the house. JT pulls an Effie White and lets Vic know he's not going nowhere! Victoria goes to see Michael for help and he tells her JT's within the law by not vacating the house since the two signed the lease together (wah?!). Michael lets Victoria know the best way she can win the war is to stay put.

Cane: He turns to someone unexpected for assistance.

Patty: She turns up the heat in her quest for payback.

Lauren: Y&R's gearing up for her to have a doppelganger (How original right?).

Hopefully the Faith storyline will come to an end. But I have to say that I'm enjoying this story the last couple of days. In the end it just shouldn't last any longer.

Lauren gets a doppelganger!? Seriously? As if this storyline can't suck anymore than it already does. The character of Lauren deserves way better ... and this Daisy girl still has to go off my screen!

And to say this: There are way too many crazy people in Geona City. Between scheming Adam, crazy Patty and sleepy-looking Daisy I just want a real break from all of this.

Victoria and J.T. signed a lease together? For the house? The house staying on Newman property? Crap!

I am still beaming from watching Adam get cracked over the head on Wednesday!!! LOL!!!! Yesterday's episode was pre-empted because of some STUPID basketball game!!! Had to watch it on cbs.com!!! WHY do they pre-empt soaps for SPORTS???? Most women 18-49, and OLDER do NOT WATCH SPORTS!!!!!

This was the BEST episode of this show I have seen in a LOOOOONNNNG time!!! Almost perfect soap opera!!When Victor slapped Adam, I almost DIED laughing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Between the Katherine and Tucker scenes and the scenes at the cabin, I was MESMERIZED!!! I wish that EVERY show could be like this!!!

Lauren having a "doppleganger"??? Kinda' silly, but I am willing to see what Tracey Bregman will bring to the table before I just COMPLETELY denounce this idea as garbage!! I am still tired of "Creep and Creepier" (aka Daisy and Ryder!!) but I am hoping that there is an interesting story hiding somewhere in this current MESS!!!!

Tired of "Pattycake"............contrived nonsense!! Needs to end!!! Everytime I see Patty or Emily, I have to resist the urge to mute the television and walk away from the television set since I have no DVR.........This story has NO appeal to me anymore!! I don't care about Patty or Emily, and the show's attempts to use mental illness as a justification for her murdering Colleen doesn't work for me!!! This will remain fast-forward material for me until it all ends...............

I just cannot get into the Adam story in any way.  They destroyed Hope's only child to make Victor, Nikki and their two hellspawn look good.  Sloppy!

Morning all,

The Baby Caper is coming to a close!! Michelle Stafford and Christian LeBlanc - -loved them in the car yesterday. I love the friendship between these two and how Michael can be brutally honest w/Phyllis. Just wanted to comment on that....

Victor, channeling his inner Andy Sipowitz, by clocking the perp across the head was LOL HI-LARIOUS! However, these meatheads should know their plan to get Adam to talk is going to fail. Like Victoria & Nikki Newman standing before him intimidate the guy. C'mon.

When the Patty/Doctor Pee fiasco wraps up, I DO WANT THEM TO  EXPLAIN how Patty got bleach into her padded cell (along with scissors) and mangled Pee's locks. I'm sorry, but it bugs me.

Has Patty ever been to Cosmetology School, does anyone know? To get that hair that color, keeping roots jet black, tease it out, all without making too much mess, the girl belongs on "Sheer Genius!!!!"

(And if Patty DOES have some leftover bleach, can she pass it over to me? I need it to toss it into my eyes whenever I see Yvonne Zzzzzima on my screen!!)

Ashley "cracking" AGAIN...LOL...i know it's not funny but I can't help but laugh.  I would die if she started the blanket thing again.  LMAO...Eileen Davidson is good when she plays crazy Ashley.

SHICK is going to get there baby back soon!  I am so happy.  Shick Fans have waited way too long for this!

Thanks for the spoilers Jillian!

oh jeez.

only 2 good bits and a whole lotta boring B.S. as usual!

its always fun when Ash goes nuts, idk, but Eileen Davidson plays crazy really well.

STOP IT WITH THE TWINS/LOOK-A-LIKES!!!

in the past few years we've had:
Jeff/William
Patty/Emily
Phyllis/Sheila
Alistair/John

get rid of Cane/Lily/Mac! why are we still being tortured by them?!

so they just expect Ashley to hand over the baby after a wild tale? get some cold hard proof first then we'll talk! how do we know Dr.Taylor didint pull a switcheroo on Adam?

Eden Regel and Marcy Rylan will be wasted on this show for the simple fact that they are coming in as recasts to characters that have sucked since they debuted! it would've been more interesting/exciting if they were both playing new fresh characters.

JT is right to raise Reed away from those snooty/spoiled/psychologically damaged Newmans! theres not 1 of them that has a redeeming quality!

JT makes me sick! No one has the right to try and take a child from their mother. Victor needs to take him down a notch or two. Im sick of that storyline. JT is only treating Victoria the way he does because he hates Victor. AND AGAIN....I am sooooo tired of this Daisy/Ryder storyline. I wish they'd hurry & bring Sheila on & get this over with. I feel like the writers dont know how they are going to spin the story thats why they are taking so long to bring Sheila on. They have to figure out a way to explain how Sheila isnt dead and Phyllis is the real Phyllis. I dont get how this Lauren crap is going to play out. Im having enough trouble watching Patty/Emily!!! I actually thought that they were going to kill off Emily BUT NOOOOOOO. Y&R is all over the place!!!!!!! Cane has a stupid storyline! Chance has a stupid storyline!!! C'mon, end atleast 3 of these ridiculous storylines!!!

Smitty---

"Jesus, take the writers pen" Funniest line I've heard on here all day!!!!

I agree....too many doubles equals a WHOLE LOTTA FOOLISHNESS!!

Why do writers become cocky when they do a story that is popular---or one that they THINK is popular---and start cranking out multiple versions of the same bulls****?????

Megan McTavish did the same damn thing with baby stories after Bianca's baby switch was so successful back in 2004!!! Brad Bell has done the same thing with the Ridge/Taylor/Brooke triangle......

When is enough enough???? When you write a good story, pat yourself on the back and then MOVE ON to something else!!!!!

They can't be freaking serious with this doppelganger crap, right? By the end of the year everybody in town will have a double.

Sorry Smitty, i don't think Shick are getting back together, this regime obviously only use Shick as angsty for Phick.

I was Team J.T but i don't like the sound of the whole Reed custody spoilers.

Do we really need more of Ashley going crazy? I really don't.

Some really interesting spoilers this week Jillian ... thanks!

aroundhound (from last week's postings) and The _Moustache ... finally some of you have the guts to vent over the Newman brats. Those two self centered siblings would not ever let any additional members into their inner circle, no matter what. Adam was "abused" by most of the cabin people's court. Yes Adam is a bad fella but he was pushed on some fronts. There were few in that woodland oasis not wearing the self righteous hood. Victor is very bad, Jack is bad, Nicky is so "saintly", Nick and Victoria will never change and Phyllis ... well there is Phyllis.

I gather that Adam is going to make an escape to hopefully wreck havoc, at least for a while. I kind of hope that the group gets grief for their vigilantism. It still bothers me that Phyllis went to such extremes to expose Adam when she knows what the consequences will be for her. I also don't get why Billy (The Mugger) took such a dlisliking to him even before the fact. Also why did Adam simply not tell Ashley that her baby died in childbirth rather than duping Sharon? So much does not make sense.

victornewmanfan41 ... I cannot disagree with you more. There is nothing wrong with JT, it is Victoria who distroyed that marriage all by herself with her misplaced loyalties and simpering attitutes and suspicions. That unstable creature does not deserve a child!

Regarding a Lauren doppelganger ... please, if we have to have yet another one let's hope that this is the Daisychain pupper master; not Sheila yet again. I think that makes a bit more sense.

The Daisy/Lauren story is already bad enough. The last thing it needs is a Lauren doppelganger.

@ tedew

since day 1, Adam was treated as an outsider and someone not worthy of being related those regal, upstanding, generous Newmans!

Nikki & Victoria accused him of only being in GC to go after "their" fortune!

Jack and Billy never liked him even before they met him.

Michael was being a snippy b*tch to Adam for whatever reason.

Phyllis was being her usual skanky self around him, leading him on.

so while he has become an "evil" character, his accusers should step back and look in the friggin mirror!

i CANNOT believe this show made me sympathize with a guy who caused a woman's miscarriage!

Adam is a creep and always has been.  I can't wait until he gets his and hopefully is off my television screen.  He can take Dippy Daisy with him.  Not far behind should be Pattycakes/Emily, Ryder, and Malcolm.  I have always loved Michael and Lauren and can't believe they are messing with them especially with her all over Paul.   That was just plain ick.  I like JT going for custody and hope he gets it from the spoiled brat Victoria.  I would love to see Sharon and Nick back together.  I can't stand him with Phyllis.  It's kind of funny because when Sharon was first introduced on the show, I did not like her one bit.  She apparently has grown on me.  Phyllis never has and probably never will.  She was better paired with Jack.  What's funny is as disgusted as I am with some of the storylines, I still watch.  I did stop watching Y & R for over a year because it was so bad.  I hope they don't keep this up or that might just happen again.  Same with Bold and Beautiful.  You can almost interchange the two soaps.  Bad writing and no new ideas.  Come on people, you can do better.

I don't sympathize with Adam at all.  All of these characters are self-righteous and self-centered one way or another (I remember Phyllis's pyscho actions back in the day), but Adam is just plain evil.  He kept lying and lying with a straight face.  He takes corrupt and hateful to a whole new level.  Frankly, I'm tired of the writers redeeming marginal characters (although he is Victor and Hope's son) just to keep writing for them.  Kevin, Jana, and Michael's mother come immediately to mind. Even Michael was a rapist at one time.  Frankly Adam is dead weight, and he's just the beginning.  They need to can a lot of characters on this show and, as I said in another post, fire Hogan Sheffer. This show needs a makeover.  They're becoming Passions on steroids when it comes to dragging out storylines.

I am enjoying the dialog in the Adam storyline poor Adam he's sticking to his guns...I loathe Sheila and am not looking forward to another one of her returns.  After Daisy terroizing Lauren I'm just not up to another one of these.  Patti, Adam, Daisy Uh and now Sheila?

Its way too much. I can use a break inbetween.  Victoria and Billy makes for some interesting drama and enjoyed the Katherine / Jill scenes with Tucker.  Still like the original actor better in the role.

Well, this show has been ON FIRE this week with regards to the Adam "intervention"--all actors involved( Amelia Heinle--and to a lesser degree Joshua Morrow--excepted, as I specified "actors") are bringing their A game;  while I'm so not a Victor fan, this once again proves why Eric Braeden is one of the most brilliant acting technicians to grace the medium.   I'm very curious to see how Adam will exit the show.

A doppelganger for Lauren? Really? I mean, we already have the Patty/Emily situation, and now this?  I have a very strange feeling that maybe TPTB are having a hard time getting Kimberlin Brown back as Sheila and are stalling---I was under the impression she was originally supposed to be back in January and now it's March.  That said, I would love to see what the always-divine Tracey E. Bregman does with this; I suspect it will be nothing short of fab.

Also agree with the last post--I'm not feeling Stephen Nichols as Tucker, but maybe it has more to do with the fact that I DON'T CARE about this storyline.  Yeah, that's probably it.

All of this was Victor's fault. All of it.

You get what you put into children. Victor divorced Adam's mother, Hope, because he didn't want to have a child that would end up blind like her. I remember that like it was yesterday. He allowed Hope to marry Cliff Wilson, and thus, do the parenting that his behind should have been doing.

Then Cliff died young. Some farming accident or something. And Hope was left to raise Adam alone. She's not the first woman in this situation, but that still didn't make it right.

THEN, when Victor becomes disappointed or angry with those two worthless brats he does acknowledge, he'll go looking for one of his many illegitimate kids to lure into the fold. That's what he did with Adam.

The minute Adam comes to town, he's faced with nothing but attitude from Nick and Victoria, like he plans to strip them of their inheritance or something. Nikki is giving him the evil eye, like it's Adam's fault that she at one time, lost Victor to Hope.

But Victor gets bored with women and children easily. And while none of that excuses what Adam has done, it's not like he had a great example to learn from. He saw Victor and the rest of the Newman's doing people dirty everyday, and HE'S the bad one???

Right.

Victor's butt should be in prison alongside Adam, for his part in killing Colleen.

I hope Adam runs for the hills.

I hate Victor but Adam is a freaking sociopath he was probably born that way.

The fact that Nick & Victoria are spoiled brats does not negate the fact that Adam is indeed a sociopath. And i'm tired of him crying about how they treated him. Poor little Adam his mean siblings made him torture an already fragile 50 years-old pregrant woman, kill his little sister, steal his brother's kid and then romance another one of his victims. Yes all of this is on the Newmans. GMAFB.

I don't think that Adam was BORN a psychopath, nor do I think he became one under any real NATURAL progression...I also don't believe it was a case of him being "nurtured into being a psycho". Come on, he was raised by one of the nicest characters on Y&R history.....Hope!!!!

This is JUST a classic case of character assassination!!! Just like what happened to Annie Lavery on AMC!! The writers decided that the character needed to become more "interesting" or to "advance more plot" and they simply threw caution to the wind and turned them into desperate loonies!!

There is no psychological or logical way to explain how these characters "turned crazy" because it's all in the WRITER'S PENS!!! It's mainly sloppy writing, because there was no BACKSTORY presented to support their psychosis.

Adam was just a normal guy who was emotionally blocked off---just like Victor Newman. If the writers weren't so interested in centering the show around psychos, he would probably be the same way!!!! However, they JUMPED THE SHARK----as many would say-----and now the character of Adam has been ruined, possibly forever!!!! I don't see any logical way to redeem this character, but I will definitely miss Michael Muhney!!! I am sure he is on his way out SOONER rather than LATER......

 Wow.  *takes a deep breath*

I completely agree with a poster above that said, 'It's all Victor's fault'.  You can't have one standard of existence for the 'real' Newman kids [Victoria and Nicholas] and another for those that weren't lucky or enough to be born from the womb of born again stripper Nikki.  [I'm already starting to feel sorry for the new Abby, since she's Coo coo for cocoa puffs Ashley's child].  Adam was done seriously dirty, but he handled it the wrong way. OF course, him handling it the right way would have made for less drama, but it is what it is.

Everyone standing up for Victoria in her battle with JT - Victoria slept with Deacon and made googly eyes at him every moment she got, and she's doing the same thing with Billy.  JT's only crime?  Watching her do it, working for Tucker, raising his kid when she's out being a hoochie, and trying to get his child away from her poisonous family.  I'm cheering for Team JT because there's no way that that unstable wench needs to be anywhere near Reed as long as she's chasing the new shiny piece of man that comes across her path.  JT's done his best to try to be above the shady things her family does and is, but when Victoria broke their vows and decided that she wanted to run hither, thither and yon around the world with Reed, that was the straw that broke JT's back.  And [then] people want to say, 'Oh no, JT shouldn't take Reed away from his mother'?  Oh no, Victoria tried to take Reed away from his father [first].

Lastly, I freely admit that I am a fan of Phick.  However, I also admit that it's time for them to be over.  We've seen how Phyllis has grown as a person [you know old Phyllis would have burnt that letter and have been done with it] and maybe it is finally time for Phyllis to move on.  Old Phyllis wouldn't have begged so hard for Nick to stay with her, and let's face it - if Nick wants to go back to that man-needy whining crying heap Sharon, she should grant him the divorce and just let it go.  I don't like the fact that her relationship with Nick has started to turn her into a weak begging pleading hot mess.  That's not the Phyllis that I'm interested in.  Phyllis needs to let Nick go and just go on back to Jack [who will be SINGLE once he finally figures out that Emily isn't Emily].  Jack understood and appreciated Phyllis for what she was and never tried to change her.  Hopefully, Phyllis' growth as a person will contribute to a long-standing relationship with Jack.  [I'm trading Phick for Phack.  XD]

ChrisGa ... you must surely be jesting that the ex Hans Gudgast, Eric Braeden is a brilliant acting technician. Come on now ... you can tell that he is reading his lines off of Melody Thomas's eyelids or from where ever they can put cue cards. He is nowhere in the league with others on the show the likes of Jeanne Cooper right now.

Regarding Adam ... I will always maintain that he was bullied with disdain by his siblings and most of the rest around him. I still think he was written badder by the day into a corner as the thoughts came to the writers.

I agree, Tedew, Eric Braeden is not that great of an actor.  He just plays himself.  I have heard some of his fellow actors on talk shows who have actually said he more or less just plays out his own personality.  I dearly love Eric Braedon, though.  He has such a strong presence that you just got to be impressed by him  The greatest actor on Y&R has long been overlooked....that is Doug Davidson.  During the Patty fiasco, he was magnificent.  He can change his persona and really puts everthing into the moment.

Regarding the happenings with Adam.  What about this "Hightower" guy?  Could it be Y&R will actually redeem Adam when they find out he did something so outstandingly good.  Put it together, Adam's back was hurting, the pain pills that (of all people) Heather brought him, and the meeting at the diner.  Since the writers always repeat themselves, perhaps Adam donated a kidney (like Michael Baldwin did to Danny) to this Hightower's wife.  When he realized Hightower had a little boy, it reminded him of when he was little with his mother, Hope, and he had to leave.  When everyone learns what a wonderful thing Adam has done, they will eventually come around....just like they did years ago with Victor, Michael, Phyllis, JT, Kevin, Jana...Oh, the list goes on.  Would be good to see Michael Muhney stay on the show though.

PLEASE, PLEASE, writers, no more doppelgangers!!  You wonder why soaps get taken off the air!  They touch upon real life dramas like battling cancer, but skrew it all up with such unrealistic silliness!!!  How about actually getting a solid plan before trying to write these things without knowing where they are going with it!!!

getalife ... your "Hightower" musings are interesting. Adam did disappear for a while so that theory is interesting. I thought, though, that he asked his mother at one point last week to forgive him for what he was about to do and that he had no choice. To me, I thought he was up to no good again and was going to murder that guy and make it look like the body was his and then just disappear. I think that the son just got in the way. He also mentioned to Sharon that he nearly did something just before he got bonked on the head.

Adam is definately a bad fella but the whole tribunal scenario was just ludicrous, not to mention highly felonious.

The Daisy storyline is dumb and gets worse as it goes.  The worst part being that Lauren and Michael are being dumbed down to prop up this awful character portrayed by an even worse actress.  Wish they would bring on Mama Bear and get it over with already.

GO JT!!  I sure missed the old JT and I am glad some of his spunk is coming back.  Victoria is the one who tanked their marriage.  She was a control freak who couldn't understand why JT would want to branch out of the Newman fold.  Then she went on to have an affair with Deacon, went to Dubai and then couldn't even pause to see her own son when she got back.  Plus it would be interesting to see a Newman loose for a change.

The writers ruined Adam.  I love a well-written villian and Adam started out that way.  But then they kept pushing and pushing and now he has done way too much to redeem him in a lot of viewer's eyes.  And that show down at the cabin was rediculous!  All of them there have done their own share of evil deeds.
