General Hospital: Perkie's Observations
As much as I want someone to prosecute Sonny and throw him in jail, this Claire chick is just not working out for me. Why is she so annoying? Why show up at the Dilexis office to ask where Michael is? If she knows he’s gone, then get a bounty hunters or someone to hot foot it down to one of Sonny’s islands to find him. It’s not like the islands are a big secret that no one knows about.
I was quite surprised that Molly spilled the beans to Diane about Michael being the killer. I’m not even sure what the point of it was, other than to tell Diane not to tell Alexis. If Diane didn’t already know, then why tell her at all? But Diane/Molly scenes are usually pretty cute and they turned it into another attempt to fix Alexis’ love life, so it ended sweetly.
The sewers under Port Charles are clearly the place to be. Spixie relive their love moment down there, before he breaks his leg and she nearly dies of hypothermia. Then Johnny decides to take a leisurely jaunt down there, to “see if he can move merchandise.” Who knew it was so easy to access the sewers? It’s just a horrible story, no matter how you look at it.
Patrick started having visions of sugar plums, or rather dumb blonde bimbos dancing in his head. And then feels guilty, so he confronts Lisa about her being in her underwear in the locker room. Then he feels even guiltier so he brings Robin a rose. Ugh. If he cheats on Robin with Lisa, I will have to hurt someone. I thought throwing Leyla in between my Scrubs was bad enough, but Lisa really makes Leyla seem like a peach in hindsight.
Good JaSam scenes, if you’re into that kind of thing, which I’m not. I get the heavy handed symbolism, he’s wearing white on the island because he’s carefree, but then sobers up back to the black t-shirt to go back to Port Charles. Micheal, maybe you should wait five minutes before trying to take off.
Tracy visiting Lulu to warn her about Dante seemed rather random. It was as though they shot the scene and then weren’t sure where to stick it in.
Kristina modelling the skimpy dresses for Kiefer was rather icky. Although not quite as icky as her stalking Ethan. Girl is in for a world of hurt.

About the Jasam scenes, yes, am VERY much into that kinda thing Perkie..lol, I loved everything about it.
I don't understand the Spixie thing so I'm not gonna even try to comment on that.
That prosecutor got on my bad side the day she referred to Maxie as 'an airhead fashionista', I like Maxie, so stupid comments, especially from someone who I wasn't feeling that much in the first place can't be tolerated. I just take her scenes with a grain of salt, she's always walking around yapping about how she's gonna be a maverick in the courtroom..give me a freaking break!!
I don't understand why Robin or anybody still hasn't punched lisa in the face, I can't freaking stand her.
I can't wait for this Kriseiferthan story to blow, I don't enjoy watching Kristina get her face punched in (Maybe Lisa, but not Krissy), but I'm eager to see how it'll all play out and how everyone will react to it.
Once again..I absolutely loved Jasam, Since the stupid writers have decided to downplay their romance and have them talk about Sonny's stupid case ad nauseam, I'll take what I can get. I don't care if Jason murders cats, or dogs for a living, he still looked freaking hot in white..haha, that goes without saying for Sam.

Love Claire! Love her! She's a tough talking, no-nonsense, ball-bustin', take-no-prisoners, Federal prosecutor of the mob who isn't afraid to get up in anybody's grill and rattle their cages, which is why she's paying visits to everyone even remotely connected to Sonny as a bit of strategy. (Prime time legal shows do this, too; whether or not it's realistic, it's not uncommon in entertainment).
While I'm sure there are easy, breezy "likable" mob prosecutors out in the universe, I like both Claire and how Dahlia Salem portrays her, which brings up an interesting point in my view:
I look at Claire and don't see one iota in difference between her prosecutorial demeanor and the investigative demeanor of equally hard ass FBI Agent Rayner (the marvelous Mark Pinter). It was quite a while before Rayner displayed any kind of wry, sarcastic humor (with Alexis) and he was quite the badass, getting up in everyone's faces about what he was going to do and how he was going to do it and asking them this, that and whatnot during his investigation into Sonny/Jason et al. Nonetheless, it seemed to me at the time that quite a few fans in general warmed up to Thomas (who said awfully nasty things about the beloved Spinelli vis a vis Claire's comments about Maxie, btw) quickly, while giving Claire a frostier reception.
(Note: I think it would be a mistake to attribute Rayner's relative acceptance to the popularity of soap vet Pinter versus the lesser known Salem. I bet a whole lot of people who watch GH are quite unfamiliar with Pinter (who spent most of his soap career on P&G soaps). Moreover, GH fans - like fans of other shows - are quite willing to dismiss well known vets and newbies alike if they don't like their characters).
What I do see as a difference is that Claire is a woman doing her job as prosecutor no differently than Rayner was doing his job as a man (in almost precisely the same ways), and it makes me curious about the gender politics/dynamics at play. Is Rayner just a driven man doing his job, but Claire is simply being a bitch? Things that make you go hmmm...

Whole episode was yuck.
The ONLY thing I loved was when Johnny went to get Maxie. Maxie and Johnny was so cute when she said Johnny is always rescuing people. Then Johnny did that wonderful smile of his. Then Maxie was saying she has bacteria on her coat and Johnny was like I've got to get that off then. I love their little banter. The only thing that ruined that scene was them showing Spinelli's 5 year old face looking pitiful while we heard JoMax wonderful banter.

The issue I have with Dahlia Salem's Claire is that she is being painted as the villain here and not given any other dimension, A more competent writing of the character would have presented her as driven but not single-mindedly so, esp if they are contemplating keeping her around. Salem could easily be a part of a LuLu-Dante triangle, there was even a slight spark btw the performers when Claire was treating Dante as a hostile witness while practicing his testimony.
She's a good actress and the character could be gold.
I also chuckle when she shares a scene with any of the Bensonhurst crew because I remember her Another World character Sofia Carlino who could have been another gal for the neighborhood!

You know, I'm having a sort of crisis of loyalty. I love the mob. Love Sonny. Love Jason. Love JaSam. Love Spinelli. I love everything about the investigations and even the gun play. But I am really loving Claire too. I loved the scene with her and DiLexis. Maybe it's because she's a strong woman, and I love the strong women on this show that balance out the strong male personalities. I'm sooo freakin happy that DiLexis finally have a partnership, and to see them working shoulder to shoulder against this hard ass female prosecutor!!! I'm loving it. And even though I love the mob, I don't want them always to kick ass. I like when they are up against the wall and have to do some crazy shit.
I loved JaSam today. I mean, I really really loved them. I loved them so much that even Michael didn't get on my nerves with his crazy antics. Usually, I want to slap Michael, which says a lot for DG, cuz he's a great actor. I just love any time we can see JaSam being laid back and concentrating on each other. I absolutely LOVED that Jason brought up Hawaii!!! Ah, it's so great to be in love with a supercouple this freakin awesome!!
I swear, if I have to live through Patrick pulling another "nurse Leyla" on everyone, I'm gonna spit fire!! He better not get any crazy ass ideas and cheat on Robin. I mean, I know she's a huge pain in the ass. But Patrick knew all about that WAY BEFORE he married her, so there's no excuse. And that ho, Lisa, isn't fooling anyone either. Thinks she's all slick.... I actually hope Robin and Liz end up bonding over this Patrick/Lisa angst and we see a little Lizzie come out against Lisa. I'd actually like to see that.

I loved Loved Loved Loved Loved Loved Loved JaSam scene the best GH couple.....
I love how relax they were , I love seeing them in white SO HOT, I love all the play Jason did with Sam , Playing tennis LOL even she see that, He was really enjoying himself and That doesn't happen a lot....
I just got mad when Jason was so in place and Sam was where is Michael?? Sam don't stop when you have the man in the right place...
I did Laugh when Michael was trying to leave and Jason stopped him..
I feel so bad for Kristina , she is really in a bad place...
I loved the Diane/ Molly scene - I just love seeing Alexis and Diane working together and add Molly - juts great ..
I like Claire...
I am so mad with the Scrubs storyline that I am not going to talk about it , Patrick is acting like jerk , and were is Robin?? why she can\t just punch Lisa?? Robin used to have great fights with Carly???
Spixie - I don't like the Story because it has lots of holes, But I know we are getting some drama so I am waiting...
In the end good episode probably because of JaSam the best couple for me

Well I did love that Mikey was trying to escape the island but other than that I felt let down. The nasty Jazaam scenes were pointless and stupid. Jason a enforcer playing tennis and going swimming with his child endangering whore of a con girl is disgusting. No matter how hard you try to sell that couple from hell it does not work. I find it funny the only thing they have as a good memory is that Hawaii crap and most of the time none of their scenes are about them. The only reason I believe that Spam was in a bikini is so Frons could get off watching her on tv. I am pissed about the Scrubs crap and Patty boy even being remotely interested in Lisa is crazy. Spixie just needs to die and hopefully I may see some JoMax. I love that Johnny was the one to rescue them.Not a big fan of Alexis's spawns and Molly for an 11 year old is very freaking annoying.

Well I want to say this again Jazaam sucks big time and I am glad that Liason was never betrayed to be this damn lame. I guess all that agenda bs that Frons did to get this couple from hell together did nothing for either character cause lets see Spam is all about Jason and has no life outside of him. Where as Liz who is the perfect woman for Jason has a life outside of Jason and the mob. Liz may have slept with Luckless and Dik but I can count how many men she has slept with in the last 12 years on one hand but I need a calculator to count all the men Spam has slept with and I know she still holds the record for sleeping with two men on the same night all by herself. Mighty funny Liason who have not been together in over a year still gets more praise then the couple from hell known as Jazaam. LIASON IS BEST COUPLE ON GH!!!!!! LIASON IS LOVE!!!!!! suck on that Jazaam.

I am rooting for Robin and Steven to get together. They would make a good couple. I'm not surprised at Patrick. I never believed his claims of loving Robin after how he acted with Leyla. He likes having women drooling him and wants to sleep with lots of women. Plus, it is never a good idea to accept the proposal of a man who only wants to marry you after you get pregnant. Robin is married to a man who always talks about "how much he gave up" to marry her. Blech. She needs to tell Patrick to hit the road because she and Emma are not gifts not burdens.

I love Claire as well. She is a professional and she is clearly dedicated to winning the trial. I don't see her as the villain at all and I really don't think she is being written as a villain. thanks J. Bernard for your write up on Claire, I agree completely
Spixie's big moment and Johnny comes to the rescue. I just hope this means that Spixie is finally over. I can't take more of this crap, I really can't and Johnny holding Maxie just looked so right.
JASAM was love. Of course if someone doesn't like the couple they are not gonna like them regardless but they were super duper sweet and I wish we could've seen them play "tennis" LOL

LovesDog... But Liz never takes responsibility for her actions, and she's the queen of getting on other people about things she, herself, would do. Look at how she's always been with Rebecca and Sam. Plus, she's friends with Robin, so she would probably be mean to Lisa just out of loyalty. Although, loyalty is a sticky subject with Liz too, so maybe not. We'll just have to see.

Yeah, as I said in an earlier post, this new laywer needs to fall down an elevator shaft-----"L.A Law" style!!!!! She is quite possibly the most annoying female character on the canvas right now!! Even more annoying than MAXIE.....and that's saying something!!!!!!!
Of course they are gearing up for a Patrick/Lisa/Robin "triangle", with all the forced conflict between Patrick and Robin lately, Guza is obviously trying too hard to make this couple seem like they are at odds, and having Lisa taking off her clothes randomly is just another clue that eventually these two are gonna end up getting busy!!!! Personally, I think this whole storyline is boring and contrived!! Just like them trying to make us think that Lisa is more compatible with Patrick just because she is more "laid back" and likes to drink beers and hang out at bars!! We all know it's coming!!! I just hope it gets interesting SOMEHOW!!! Let Robin cheat on Patrick also while he cheats on her with Lisa, and let the chips fall where they may!!!
I love ANY scene that Tracy is in, no matter how "random" it looks!!! I also loved how she pointed out to Lulu that the difference between her relationship with Luke and Lulu's relationship with Dante is that her and Luke are EQUALS, and that her heart is just as dark and black as Luke's is!! That almost made me spit out my Dr. Pepper!!!! How true it is, Tracy and Luke ARE the most compatible couple on this show, yet they seem to get the least amount of airtime!!!
I have mixed feelings about Jason and Sam together. One minute, I think they are hot as hell, the next minute, I find them to be boring and stilted!! All they ever seem to talk about is Michael, guns, Sonny and the mob!!! And I agree, I want to see Steve Burton back in those skin-tight black shirts ASAP!!! I am not shallow, but I am used to tuning out most of Jason's dialogue and just enjoying how good he looks in those shirts!!!!!
Kristina modeling the dresses was creepy, but her using her "womanly wiles" (despite the fact that she ain't a woman YET!) to try to seduce a man seems so out of character for ALEXIS's daughter!!!! Are you sure this girl isn't really SAM'S daughter----or perhaps CARLY'S???????

mayjadjor, I don't doubt that Liz will be mean to Lisa. Liz will put all the blame on Lisa while sympathizing with her fellow cheating friend, Patrick. Liz will tell Robin to forgive Patrick because just because he cheats and lies, it doesn't mean that he doesn't love her. Liz will then visit Patrick in ShadyBrook when he cannot cope with the embarrassment that everyone knows that he cheated and Robin won't forgive him. Sound familiar? LOL!

Yesterdays show was o.k. I'm not a Jasam fan but I did think that their scenes were cute. I just wish it was a Liason scene instead!
Loved Johnny to the rescue again. I hope that TPTB explore Johnny and Maxie. I just can't stand him with Olivia. I was once a Johnny and Lulu fan but I like Lulu with Dante now. I just want him away from Olivia! Spixie is just getting to boring for me!
The whole Patrick and Lisa thing is getting on my nerves. What is the point of her anyway. It was done with Leyla. I don't want a redo. I wouldn't mind though if Steve would be a bit of a problem for Scrubs. It would be nice if it was the other way around instead of other women always being a factor for Patrick. I want to see Patrick being jealous of Robin for once!

I love when Patrick gets jealous. I've seen it a few times, and he's really obvious about it. He is always SUPER JEALOUS of Jason. I remember when they were broken up and Jason brought Robin back to work on his bike. When Patrick saw them walk in together, he was ready to go off!! He was so pissed, and not even trying to hide it. I would love to see Patrick jealous of Robin and Steve. I always hope Scrubs is endgame, but I wouldn't mind angst, as long as it goes both ways. I don't see Robin forgiving Patrick if he actually has sex with someone else, though. Not for a long time, at least.

Blackchic...just for the record...Sam has been with Jax, Sonny, Jason, Ric and Lucky with one pregnancy while Lizard has been with Lucky, Zander, Ric, Jason and Nik with 4 pregnancies (she miscarried a Ric baby so no I am not counting the rent a womb child). Unless I missed someone I count that as 5 and 5. You need a calculator to count to 5??? - WOW. LOL
Love all things Tracy - I wish we saw more of her. She should have her own storyline - I am hoping that she will be on more once Skye and Maya hit town.

ELC - I agree about having a triangle with the female character in the center - wopuld love to see Patrick and steven competing for robin, even if she can be a little too much at times.
LovesDog - It wouldnt surprise me if Robin chooses Steve Lizard might well pursue Patrick. Its totally in character for her to position herself so that she can capitalize on any discord between Scrubs.

Wow, it's been a while since there has been so much diversity on the board in terms of likes/dislikes. Nice.
Still love Claire. Seems Alexis should rewatch her scenes from her sister Kristina's funeral, because she has forgotten who she used to be.
If Patty cheats, I'd SO be down with a Stephen/Robin pairing. I love Scrubs, but I agree that it's time Patrick learned what he'd be giving up by engaging in a fling with "wild and crazy Lisa."
I too, found Kristina modeling the dresses to be slightly creepy, but mostly pathetic. This poor girl is just desperate for male attention.
The one good thing about Spixie scenes is that whenever Spin goes into his black-and-white daydreams, it gives me something to FF, lol.

I normally don't care that much one way or the other about JaSam, but today's scenes were cute. I like it whenever Jason is not wearing the black tshirt. To see him in a flowy white shirt was cool. I wish he and sonny and sam would wear something other than all black. It makes them look like mopey idiots. They aren't amish are they?

When is someone going to tell Michael that the first rule of the Corinthos organization is that it is a dictatorship not a democracy. Sonny gives the orders and he may or may not hear dissenting opinions but the final decision is his and his alone. Perhaps then the brat will give up on joining since he wants to do what he wants to do all of the time. During that conversation the adult should also add that his behavior is that of a child and they should be armed with examples. And if he doesn't listen than he should be allowed to suffer the consequences.
Oh and not finished with today's episode but Carly is a pinhead. If Sonny is Dante's father than AJ is Michael's.
