I imagine fans of this former ABC Daytime superstar will be quite happy to learn he or she just joined a CBS sudser in quite the bitchin' role! I can't reveal who the wildly popular thespian is yet, or who he or she will be portraying (it's a recast), but let's just say this will go down as one of the biggest casting coups of the new millenium!

If it's quite the bitchin role...I can't classify Mac as a bitchin role so that's why I don't think it's Mac that is being recast.
Jamey can we get a hint if they character is currently onscreen now? or will the recast be the newly returned to town character?

Yes Renee Elise Goldsberry is a OLTL superstar IMO. I can't see her as Drucilla though. I really think that after reading the thing from Eden's Twitter that she is coming to Y&R but not sure which character she will be. I can't see her as Victoria but who knows.

I don't think Frons or Guza would let VM go to a CBS soap, they've both been salivating over the possibility of getting her back at some point. I imagine they'd do everything possible to thwart any possibility of losing her to a rival network LOL But hey, maybe I'm wrong. I'm gonna agree with those who said Eden Riegel

Well, if it is either Eden or Tamara coming to Y&R, I just became a Y&R fan. Never watched the show except on a few occasions, so don't really know too much about it, so I guess I'm going to have to start watching it.
As a huge Bianca fan, I was disappointed in her last return because Charles Pratt ruined the character somewhat for me, but if it is Eden, and getting a fresh start at another soap maybe what she needs because ABC trashed Bianca so many times.
That being said, something tells me that Eden would remain loyal to the soap that launcehd her career.

You mean the soap that threw Bianca time and time again under the bus and even Eden herself? Eden loves AMC and Bianca, no doubt about it, but switching to another soap is not being disloyal, specially in her case since she's not currently on AMC's cambas. Beside, somebody needs to use her talent and if AMC snooze...

I originally thought Victoria Newman Recast with Tamara Braun.....But FELL OVER IN MY CHAIR when I saw the "Vanessa Marcil as Victoria" idea. I WOULD CRY IN HAPPINESS!!!!
R.E.G as a Dru recast ...I like Renee, but I'm all aboard the "no one can replace Victoria Rowell" in the roll. Besides, REG is tooooo young to be a 'grandmother'. (I KNOW, I KNOW, we're supposed to overlook that, blah, blah, blah. But I can't. I"m not an idiot. And Kyle and Abby are SUPPOSED TO BE the same age!!)
I'm going to hear flak for this, but I cannot stand Eden Reigal. I think it's partly how the AMC morons wrote for her, so my mind is all muddled when it comes to "Binks".
Maybe it's a B&B role?? I don't faithfully watch that show, so I'm not sure who sucks enough/been gone to be replaced.
How about Jeff Branson as a recast Thomas Forrester???
