DC #521: CBS and DAYS Getting out of Dodge

I never wished anyone to die but I hope that Alison go over the building roof. My only wish is the idiots at ATWT will listen to ATWT fans that's what they have been wanting; these last few months, but I doubt it. Y&R and B&B are next on the chopping block.

Ya'll are killing me on the Podcast! C'mon, Jamey, not a kangaroo should kick Cane in his face with his hind legs*dead and gone*! Boy, you know Kansas got that magic stick. He tapping that thang with the seeing eye cane!!!  I'm with Mel; that tumor s/l with Jana was Grade A boo-boo and Jana, and I can't look at her the same again.  I'm soooo over ATWT and bionic James reincarnated.  Omg, no one does Lisa imitations like Jamey.

I agree with everything that was said about B&B.

But how come when Days is # 2 in ratings, the DC crew credits that to writing, but when OLTL constantly last or next to last, they said it is due to bad promotion

BG did you miss the dc gang saying oltl's NOT PROMOTED and DAYS is? anyone can see amc/gh/days get promotions galor and oltl doesn't. its like they dc guys need to draw u a picture.

B/c the writing on OLTL is on any given day the best written soap on daytime and it gets almost zero promotion from the network.I love Days but the writing the past few months hasn't been that great and now they look like they are getting it together and it's showing in the ratings.

I can't stop rewinding Jamey imitating Phoebe. rotfl!

I love when Jamey kept saying " Uncle Daddy LOL !   and Jillian and Jamey Imitating Celeste. Melodie as well impersonating Lily. I loved what all y'all said about Maura West leaving that mess of ATWT on over to OLTL.

Bill, you have officially lost all your "street credit". You got manipulated by one of the ditziest characters in B&B history.....the Lizzie McGuire of the fashion world. Nice. What next?? Will Thomas swoop in and capture Katie's heart??? Spare me. Making one character look STUPID just to justify another character getting the upper hand is just sloppy writing. In reality, Bill would never be taken in by this oversized Barbie doll!!! And Katie needs to "woman up" and kick Steffy's ***!!! That character is being written far too WIMPY for my taste.

I agree, Sharon is being written out of character to justify a RIDICULOUS plot twist!! She has, in my opinion, earned her title as the SILLIEST character in Genoa City-----with Lauren coming in 2nd place and Jack coming in 3rd place---- and that's saying something. I am finding myself SLIGHTLY intrigued by the idea of who this mystery force is in town that Daisy/Ryder are protecting. I still find these two characters to be INSIDIOUS, but as long as the payoff is good, and they don't DRAG this story out for another six or seven months, I might start enjoying this storyline. That's a big "IF".....

Jamey, I have to disagree about Justin going after Hope.  Boy is ALONE, no ladies left in Salem! EJ, Rafe, and formerly Lucas paw over Sami; that annoying Mia got Chad and Will after her.  Hope/Kristian Alfonso is HOT! She's one of the most beautiful women in daytime, you can't tell me that she can't have someone admiring her! All the rest of the men in Salem are going after someone else! And you know Daniel's getting thrown into the Carly/Bo/Hope mix so throw a gorgeous sister a bone! I know I'm bias, but I'm a Hope supporter and she's beautiful.  Bo doesn't know what he has.  If he's gonna be a pig and sleep with Carly while he's still married to Hope, well she deserves better.  The nerve of him calling her "Fancy Face" while he goes calling Carly "Princess".  Hope needs a new man, it's about time she let Bo go! And I've been a viewer for nearly 30 years, I know about New Orleans, their wedding there, their love song, everything.  Bo has consistently been a dog towards Hope (Carly, Billie), my girl needs a man who will love her right and if the wonderful Wally Kurth fits that bill, so be it!

But I do agree the Kayla/Shane pairing didn't work.  But in my heart of hearts, I know Hope will still love Bo and I know she wouldn't betray Adrienne.  So far, the show is playing Justin's feelings towards Hope and Hope hasn't reciprocated.  I am actually happy about it becaise I feel that they are being true to Hope's character.  Bo? He's a mindless DOG!

Oh, the DC Crew always keeps it real!  Jamey, Jillian, Mike, Mel and Luke always keep me asking for more on CBS/Days podcast..... LMAO always, because none of them have any sense.... Cane needs to die and so does Lily on Y&R!  Jillian, pls call auntie Re-Re out on some more ish... Love it!  I wish y'all would do an extra podcast on just general soap stuff, because it would be hilarious

Another HORRIBLE podcast.  I ended up turning it off-- it gave me such a headache.  I am so tired of Jillian stealing the show, talking -- oh wait -- make that YELLING over everyone.  Tired of her making fun of Luke; tired of Jamey (who I used to LOVE) and Jillian always YELLING, sounding like their mics are in their mouths, having to impersonate everyone to the point of OVERKILL.  I am a long-time listener back to the Luke and Lisa days... but I can no longer stand it.  I love Mike; I love Luke; I love Melodie.  They TALK about soaps.  They do not yell and chronically do impersonations that aren't funny after 5 minutes.  15 seconds I can laugh at.  OVERKILL, I cannot.  I am so disappointed that the podcast has gone this route.  Maybe I'll tune in again in a few months to see if things have improved.  At this point, however, I don't need the headache.  Jillian, PULL IT BACK AND TONE IT DOWN.  Just tone it down.  You have so many good thoughts to offer; but when it's mixed with profanity every other word, PLUS using the Lord's name in vain??  I am done.  FINISHED.

Another WONDERFUL podcast!

You know what is so tired? People that are too trifling to Private Message, e-mail or call the DC hotline to discuss concerns about the members of the Daytime Confidential Podcast.  How loud one of them says something, how many jokes they make, etc., should be directed to the specific person at hand.

What the hell ever.

Jillian is not going anywhere, which I suspect is the hope of some of these posters that ‘suddenly’ have a problem with how she conducts herself. I know this forum asks for comments about the podcast. I know that it is not just limited to what was discussed and that yes, how a member sounds or what and how they say it, is fodder here as well.

It’s just ghetto to do so.

I want to hear from the people that can get me information, quickly, about what is going on in the soap world. Jamey and Jillian specifically, have a lot of inside info that I want to hear and read about as well.

For those that ‘long for the days with Luke and Lisa’, come back in a couple of months, listen and hear the same people that you heard just now...and what the hell ever!
