No, I don't think that DAYS is trying to be like GH, they are just DESPERATE to pull in ratings, and I feel that since the James Reilly era of the show in the early 90s, this show has been more deemed toward shock value and sensationalistic writing than good acting, strong dialogue and writing smart characters. Yes, the writing has improved, but DAYS is LIGHT YEARS away from being in the same league as GH......just my opinion. I think DAYS tailors their stories to pull in YOUNGER viewers, whereas GH tailors their stories for ADULTS (18-49)

Days is beating in the ratings but in terms of actors you have to give it to GH. They teen set on Days is horrible while the teens on GH rock! Who on Days could you put up against Jonathan Jackson, Maurice Bernard, Laura Wright, Tony Geary, Kristen Storm, etc no one. Crystal and Louise are good but Days is not known for their acting

i agree DAYS OF OUR LIVES is no 2 now im sooo happy for them i dont think they were trying to copy gh because stories are written months and scenes were watching now were filmed like 2 months ago thats like saying the DAYS valentine's day wedding copied AMC, ATWT and the YR weddings they just each had a parent child shooting. and its also different because we all knew on GH from the day we found out dante was an under cover cop and if sonny found out he would have killed him off anyway when not knowing thats his son on DAYS it came out of nowhere wheile trying to protect melanie from vivian. and according to the new reports when it comes to the young under 18 audience GH was number 1 while days was 4 Girls12-17 Viewers

Not every soap is for every watcher. Personally, right now I find DOOL to be the closest thing to a traditional soap out there. I can't really think of anything that Days has done in the last year that was shock value. The twins from outer space, possession, etc are stories of the past and not currently present. I have sampled GH on occasion and it personally is not to my taste. Good actors of course....but I just don't like the stories.

That Melanie know she tickled me yesterday when she found out Carly shot her. She was screaming and trying to get out of bed and screaming some more. Funny. LOL.
