Colin Egglesfield IN, Daniel Cosgrove OUT for Brothers & Sisters Flashback Eppy

Look for All My Children and Melrose Place alum Colin Egglesfield to likely portray the role of a young William Walker on Brothers & Sisters' upcoming flashback episode. EOnline  first broke the news that Egglesfiield would be replacing one of the previously cast Rewind Walkers. Speculation is Egglesfield is going in for fellow soapster Daniel Cosgrove, who had previously been tapped to play William. I have to say, this is a good move. Egglesfield definitely brings to mind what I would envision for the cocky, philandering jerkoff who cheated on my Gidget with that tramp Holly Harper!

dont agree with this recast...while yes colin is prettier - the shock is that nora's steady cheated for years....if you look at the 2 above - you would suspect colin not daniel. bad move!

Apparently DC couldn't do it because scheduling conflict with CBS aka ATWT.  God, I effing hate that he is going to ATWT for 4 months, what a waste.  Cosgrove, ma dahling, make it up to me and go to another soap after that (no DOOL, Y&R,B&B or AMC)

If they want a pretty boy, Egglesfield is, in my opinion, "prettier" than Cosgrove. If they want a complete jerk with no redeeming qualities, I also think that Egglesfield has that "bad boy" thing down to a science. However, if they want an actor with sense of humor, sensitivity and charm, I think that Cosgrove would have been the way to go. Either way, I love it when ex-soap stars get hired on primetime...even if it is short-term!!

Yes, what a waste. But who isn't wasted on ATWT? I think he'd make a great Joey Buchanan on OLTL especially not that Kelly's back. Kelly belongs with Joey, not Kevin. Kevin is more Cassie's type. 

Too bad, I was looking forward to seeing him as a young William. I love B&S.

 I love Daniel, but I also love Colin, I just can't wait to see this episode

That's a major bummer, at leas it was due to a scheduling conflict but in honesty CE can't act!

Tom Skerritt played the present William Walker, and Daniel's looks and demeanor remind me more of Tom. Colin, acting talent aside, doesn't have that William Walker feel.
