General Hospital: Perkie's Observations
Performer of the Day: For the first 50 minutes of this episode, I couldn’t decide who would get the nod because there were a couple of good choices. Then, Constance Towers (Helena) walked into Liz’s room at Shadybrook and in a brief two minute scene, we had ourselves a winner!
Helena to Liz: “Congratulations on your promiscuity. Certainly seems to be what you do best. How wonderful of you to check yourself into Shadybrook. Half of my work is done for me.”
It just doesn’t get any better than Helena at her psychotic, snarky finest.
Poor Dante. He was certainly getting it from all sides today. Raynor showed up to scream at him despite the fact that Dante did all the work on the case in the first place. He never at any time indicated that he wasn’t going to continue being an upstanding police officer. Michael showed up to ask Dante, the cop, to let good old dad, the criminal, off the hook. Then Morgan showed up and started with the waterworks. He’s the one that I’m sure will get under Dante’s skin the most.
Stupid line of the day:
Lulu: “Dante was just doing his job.”
Michael: “So was my dad.”
So Michael, you’re dad’s job is to kill undercover cops now? Michael just angered me so much. Although, I found it interesting that Dante was starting to figure out what really happened to Claudia.
When Liz walked into that room at Shadybrook, did anyone else get sort of creeped out that it’s basically the same room that Laura and Lulu spent time in? Is it weird that Lucky’s mother, sister and now ex-fiancee have all ended up in a mental hospital, no matter how short a period of time?
I was not happy that Scrubs were fighting and I was certainly happy to see them make up at the end. I was also happy to see Robin helping Liz.
Sonny needs to shut it regarding what Olivia needs to do for him. Dante is an adult and if he wants a relationship with his criminal father, then he’ll reach out. Olivia kept the secret for a reason. It's the only decision that I’ve agreed with regarding her, but now Sonny’s trying to guilt her into forgetting that he shot her son.
I liked the Luke/Tracy scene, the Luke/Lucky scene and the Sonny/Luke scene gave me my funny line of the day:
Sonny: “How did you finally connect with Ethan?”
Luke: “Well, I didn’t shoot him in the chest, for one thing.”

Robin's mood swings are insane...I hope she's pregnant...Legacy characters need to have more kids.
Loved Lante...nice to see Olivia stick up for Dante, but Im not too sure how long thats gonna last.

Helena's line nearly killed me today. Its what we all were thinking. Also Luke & Tracey were just amazing. Them two are dynamite. I wish Jason would put Michael in his place again.

Yeah, I love Helena. I wonder how she is going to torture Elizabeth this time around.......

Loved the Luke/Tracy, Luke/Lucky and Luke/Sonny scenes as well! I totally agree with your line of the day Perkie. I LMAO when Luke said that to Sonny!
You can tell that TG is really enjoying his time in PC these days.
I really felt bad for Dante today. He was getting it from every direction. Raynor is a total jerk! I was cheering Olivia on when she was getting in his face! Michael showing up I think is putting Dante closer to solving the Claudia puzzle. I can't wait to see what he does when he figures it all out. And Morgan..... that kid is one ball of hurt these days.
Helena was fun but I was too creeped out by Liz being put in what looks to be Laura's exact room.
Scrubs was boring. Robin has always had a split personality (nice girl / bitch) and today was no surprise. At least she caught herself after her visit with Liz and made up with Patrick.
Sonny is still delusional!!!

Liasonaddict - You must have missed it because I heard them say that LAINEY determined that she needed to be in Shadybrook. It was said twice actually by two different people today. And Steve is her brother so he would have some say in her health care seeing as she attempted to kill herself.

Okay first of all, Luke is the biggest gossip in PC. First Tracy, who apparently spends her days getting the dirt on patients at GH, comes by and tells all of Liz's business. Then for some odd reason Luke just blurts it out to Sonny then we have to hear about his mental illness. Luke is a huge gossip but I was so happy he said that line about not shooting his son in the chest.
Is it just me or did anyone else think that was ab libbed because MB started to smile after Luke said that but you can tell he was holding it in. I don't feel sorry for Sonny at all. He's just annoying me acting like Dante is just suppose to love and forgive him because they are father/son.
I am just hating this whole Liz storyline. Hating it. I did love the look Liz flashed Lucky after he told her to go and get help. I did love Robin coming to visit her. Love Helena coming to terrorize Liz. CT had a great interview in SOW where she said some great things about RH about seeing her as a young woman and now a mother.
I just don't understand how Nik/Lucky could even have a say so in Liz getting committed. Only Stephen and Audrey could have that authority. Did like the Stephen/Robin scenes. They have so much chemistry. I just hate Lisa and I hated how Scrubs was fighting at the start. It seemed so unnecessary.
I hate Olivia with a passion. I can't see how that woman could even stand next to Sonny after he shot her only son. I just hate her.
I like all the Morgan/Dante scenes. They have great chemistry. I love that Morgan said that he loved Jax. Yeah Sonny is his blood father but Jax is the reason Morgan knows right from wrong and he knows it's wrong to shoot a cop. I just hate that he was askind Dante to lie to help Sonny.
On another board someone wrote that Lulu reminds her of a dog, she barks at everything that movies.
I just don't get that when it comes to Liz/Robin, everyone in PC has to know their business. Every other woman can cheat and do horrible things yet when Liz/Robin does something, the whole town has to know about it. That's annoying.

Helena was wonderful in her two minute scene today. I know Liz needs help but how is she going to make any progress if Helena can just come and go as she pleases?
Perkie, you are spot on about the romm looking just like Laura's, right down to that awful rocking chair. I liked Robin being a friend to Liz today. I am glad that Steven is there for his sister, maybe he can keep Lucky and Nik away from her. Lucky is creeping me out more and more. He wants to be the hero that saves Elizabeth again, like when they were teens. They are adults now. The line he said to Luke today about how he still cared for Elizabeth even after all the things she has done to him made me sick. What about all the things Lucky has done to her? I know since JJ has come back he really hasn't done anything but still Lucky is not a total innocent when it comes to bad things that have happened to her.
Luke/Sonny scene was good. Morgan/Dante scene was really good too.
Tracy needs to become the town's PI. She found out a lot of information without breaking and entering, stealing evidence, or computer hacking. LOL

Doesn't that just piss you off. Just like when he was going though Liz's love history, Lucky really talks of stuff he doesn't know or he has selective memory. He's forgotten all the crap he has done. Also just because JJ has come back doesn't mean a thing. Lucky is a character and the character of Lucky has treated her like crap for years. TIIC act like just because JJ is back and they can show us some flashbacks from 12 years ago, we are just suppose to forget about what Lucky has done and forget about Liz's other loves (LiRic!!!)
But sassy, doesn't it seem that everything and I mean everything that Liz or Robin does gets gossiped about badly. Everyone knows about it in a matter of minutes or hours. Half the stuff Carly and co does isn't even talked about like that. I think if Robin knew about Carly cheating on Jax twice, she would have said something.

This storyline so bad until at this point when I watched a small bit of it today (for the first time in a long time) I found myself laughing....the three amigos
standing out there testosterone heavy dialog and "Nik's chanting how,
Lucky and I are breaking bread for the sake of Elizabeth
Its good Helena has more to do than roll around in a wheelchair and sit up in a hospital bed she's out and about wrecking havoc... I think I'll go back and check her out I wub me some Helena when she is written to walk around.
Again this is a Pro=Shmucky storyline IMO, that wrote Elizabeth way under the bus she always takes the brunt of Guza' tris and quads I expected this to be no different. Hopefully they will find something else for her besides quads/tris and babies who's the daddy mama drama. I just can't watch this...I tried though I really did.
The writing for her is just too bad for me as her fan..I am not understanding the level of dialog however, it seemed to be a bit more mature today..Lucky said he'd go to ShadyBrooke does that mean I will actually see a man go there instead of just women? They actually mentioned two characters I rarely (if ever) see today Lainey and Kate. I almost fell off my chair.
I saw some of the Olivia/Dante/Rayner scenes and I didn't realize she was so all powerful she has the right stuff to take the FBI down....but he did put her in check re: Claudia upcoming murder trial that she'll be called upon so she lost a little steam there...I don't care for the character that much but since she's Dante' mother I have to tolerate her in his scenes.
I don't know why Robin and/Patrick keep giving Lisa a front row seat to the intimate parts of their marriage...but I guess there is a reason. I still like their banter I think Robin/Patrick spats are funny most of the time. And this is about all I could tolerate for today..... I keep trying to watch the show...
Did Sonny ever say Carly cheated with him in the back of the limo? Just wondering...

EET, I still don't buy Alexis and the mayor affair. That was a rewrite by the writers because Alexis spent her night seeing Sam and Ric, getting Jason to take her to the hospital, then spending the rest of the night with Kristina and Sonny in the MetroCourt restaurant due to the blackout. It was a stupid plot point to tarnish Alexis in Kristina's eyes.
I think the point was that Elizabeth was told she was pregnant on Mon. and by Wed. half the town knows, and the rest is sure to find out soon. The town already knows about her affair w/Nik. It was done very quickly. It just proves that the writers do not have to make every s/l drag out beyond belief.
Does everyone know that Lulu killed Logan? She admitted it in court but nobody believed her because of her mental state. Claudia got Johnny off by saying that he killed Logan defending her. I probably missed it though because I could not stand Lulu at that time and fast forwarded whenever she was on my screen. Did Laua get Scott to back off too?
It took a while for Carly's and Olivia's secrets about their children to come to light.
And yeah Amelia outed Sam for killing her father and being a con, but her loving sisters do not know that she broke up Alexis/Ric by sleeping with him, or that she and Sonny had an affair while he was married to Carly and that she lost the baby. How would Molly & Kristina look up to her or ask her for advice if they knew the entire truth? Sam also watched Jake get kidnapped and hired two men with guns to threaten Liz, Cam, and Jake. I know Jason has miraculously forgiven her but it doesn't mean that everyone in town knows and has held her accountable. The agenda was spoken by Frons to redeem Sam, and Guza wrote it but this Elizabeth fan is still not accepting it.

coolblue - the idea is that robin and Lizard and ONLY robin and Lizard are subjected to the whole town knowing their dirt. Now its okay well yeah but their dirt is know faster??? Or is the position that not every secret of every character is known around town by every single character...only robin and lizard...except few know Eliesalot whacked zander, drove while high on painkillers, lied about Cam's paternity to ric, lied to Jason about Jakes paternity, lied to Lucky about Jakes paternity, commited perjury for Jason and stole evidence of his criminal activity from the pcpd. So again I hold to my position that all characters are written as behaving badly at some point or another and all characters are gossiped about from time to time...NOT JUST POOR PUT UPON LIZARD. And why is it a "whitewash" when a character like Sam or Carly or Maxie have a sin that doesnt get put on blast but when Lizard skates re: the aforementioned list, its just normal storytelling.
Theres this whole hue and cry by Team Lizard that Kristina and Molly dont know about how Sam watched the Jakenapping, but in a few years when they soras cam and/or Jake are y'all going to be demanding that every mistake the Stairmaster ever made be told to them too?? I wonder, do you think that they have been told about Alexis killing luis alkie or ric and the panic room or michael shooting kate accidentally??

Dante does have a cute smile, really like him and LuLu together. Kinda sad that we do not see too much of Luke anymore, he is the Patriarch of this show. Will they ever bring back Alacazar (his body was never found). I am so happy that Skye will be returning to GH. Any chance of Brenda coming back to Port Charles?

he was never found because Jason shot him point blank execution style, stuffed the body in the trunk, then drove out and tossed him over the side of hang mans bridge, like he was a sack of freakin potatoes.
unless helena found his body, and then kept it frozen until she could find a cure for gun shots to the brain, and shattered bones from a 100+ fall, i don't think he is coming back.
But this is GH, and really, any of that cheesy crap is possible.
