Ok I am beyond pissed at this Victor getting Jabot and then to put Gloria employed by Jabot makes me even MADDER!!!  I absolutely hate this!  They are really not making Victor likeable with this stuff!  Victor has always had a soft spot for Ashley so I'm kind of surprised that he would tell her to leave, but riddle me this...I thought Ashley wasn't working there right now?

I swear Amelia Hienle was gone like two weeks..sigh...why is she back so soon?  I guess they reduced maternity leave when Sony renewed Y&R.  I don't want Billy with Victoria.  Gosh going form one drip to another.  Someone make it STOP!

Knowing Victor, he'll Use JAW BOW (hahaha, that Tucker!!) to get his Mits on the Ranch. He'll use the company as trade bait. I expect ASHLEY and only Ashley to be the owner of Dad's Company.

Victor own Jabot once before, this is just rehash again!!!  I am getting so tried of the soaps the ones I do still watch with the writers.  All the do is rehash storylines where is the creative storylines and for god sake the romance! Hell, I seen fans come up with BETTER IDEAS then some of these writers.   Sorry might be minority but I hate the "Patty" storyline, Victor is still being written into a corner.  Why didn't Y&R use the opportunity with the "Patty" and bring her back healthy and recast "Patty" with a BLONDE and have a awesome romantic triangle for Jack?  We all know where this is probably leading, when is "Patty" going to either kill Emily or take her place when Jack & Emily marries...ZZZZZ..boring.   I stopped watching OLTL again, started watching again a year ago but this "Mitch" storyline and "Jessica" high school musical storyline....PLEASE ....STUPID and it is taking away from the good storylines.   This long time viewer of soaps is about had it and the soap industry is going to be losing yet another soap viewer, which they can not afford.  The industry just could care less about the fans that are still here, forcing these bullsh*t on fans.. I'm getting tired.

Amelia Heinle's maternity leave is waaaay too short, just like Arianne Zucker's on Days. It's not like we were clamoring for her to return.

Sounds boring, and it's time to reveal Ryder and Daisy's mother. It's been 6 months now since she slinked her way into jail to visit Ryder. Enough is enough! We want Sheila! We want Sheila!!

As for Patty, I like the actress but hate this character. Wish she was with Victor and then I could FF both of them.  Abbotts  vs Newmans is getting old! Cannot  the writers come up with something better for Victor & Jack to do.

This time last year for me it was Anna/Tyra and Noah/Eden who were the Fast Forward material for me. Now it's Daisy, Ryder, and Lily. (No offense to the actors...it's the stories.)
Oh well....every show has to have its stinkers (as Sheffer calls them) I guess.

I really hope we're not "going there" again with Sheila. The memories are still fresh from last time when LML was there wrecking this show.

Does anyone see chemistry between Neil and Ashley? I am all for hooking up and I love Eileen and Kristoff but I don't see any. Anyone?

 Was the I only one who thought that Billy and Heather were hot? I'd take her with Billy over Mac or Victoria anyday. I know that ideally we'd want him with Chloe but if we have to have a substitute Heather gets my vote!

Out of all the women Billy has been with on this show, I think he sizzled the most with Sharon.

I certainly agree you guys about Sheila. Let's get the wait over with and get her back in the picture or reveal who that puppet master really is, even if it is KB is some form.

With Lauren finally and logically getting to the hospital for a check up ... is this the most incompetent hospital around?  Should there not have been a blood test to get something going about that tea Daisy is always offering to Lauren?

I doubt that Victor has returned to be even more despicable than ever. Remember his main purpose in life is to destroy Jack in one or more ways or another and the theory by goyankees concerning Ashley actually makes quite a bit of sense.

I still kind of like Phyllis for some reason but what is with her always being around at the most opportune  moments lately? Also, what is with that acting style of incessantly repeating her lines all about? I know it is nothing new but it gets annoying.

Finally for now .. do any of you think that Adam will somehow be able to weasle his way out of his current predicament? If so, how?

"The tea" and Lauren reminds me of "the necklace" and Lauren a few years ago.....where she was wearing a necklace that was poisoning her and Sheila looking like the Emperor from Star Wars trying to get her to jump off the roof...

goyankees, there's no proof that the "Sheila" we saw in 2006-7 with Phyllis' face was actually Sheila. There is a theory that she may have been Sheila's lackey Sugar. Sheila gave Sugar plastic surgery to look like Phyllis and sent her to Genoa City to wreak havoc on her enemies.

I don't think Michelle Stafford or Kimberlin Brown will be pulling double duty in a dual role---we have had enough of that in the past year and a half with Marge/Kay and Emily/Patty. The closest I could see happening is Kimberlin returns as Sheila's "good" twin and is able to move around town freely, but in reality she's really Sheila after all.

AlistaireCrane, you are right. All the signs of Sheila's return have been out there, plain as day, which is why we're so blase when MAB or Hamner goes out to the mags and tells us that we're in store for a "shocker" of a story. And honestly, if it did turn out to be Sheila's twin and not Sheila, I think it would be a letdown. Outside of avenging her sister, where's the dramatic payoff or the shock value of having an up til now unknown twin sister show up to strike at Lauren? Plus I'm one of those who wasn't enamored by having Sheila die with Michelle Stafford's face, so I would welcome a return by Kimberlin to the role that's hers to own and would gladly suspend disbelief to have Sheila somehow still be alive.

As for Victor, like many have said. Been there, done that. I am really upset that MAB and company have bowed to Eric Braden's desire to come back as the kick ass, take names, take no prisoners Victor who has won time and time again by breaking out his bottomless checkbook. I'm glad Eric Braeden is back and agree that the show needs Victor, but having him do the same story he's been doing for 20 years simply bores me to tears. Jabot belongs with the Abbotts, and this was the perfect time to give it back to them so they can prove they know that company better than anyone. But instead, we get "Victor stomps jack, mark 1 million", and we see him go off on Ashley in the process, too.

So we're in for a Billy/Victoria/JT/Mac quadrangle? Did anyone not see that one coming between Billy and Vicki's New years' interaction and all the time JT has been spending with Mac? And frankly, why should we root for any of them to succeed?

Who was the last decent actress Y&R cast? If the answer is Stacey Haiduk, then I will say while she's a good actress, even she hasn't been able to save the last 6 months of her writing.

I don't think Sheila or her potrayer Kimberlin Brown are coming back.  Nothing stays leaked this long and  they are purposelly dragging this story out.  I think these Sheila mentions are all red herrings.  For some reason, I think it may be someone from Michael's past that is getting even with him via Lauren.

Nelson Branco reported a casting call for a body double of a woman about 5"4" with a great body, long red hair and size 0-2.  He speculated it was Phyllis as Sheila again but those dimensions are way off for Michelle Stafford.  That is the height and build of Lauren and Tracey Bregman though.

Maybe someone will set up Lauren to take the fall for something just like Daisy is currently framing Eden for her crimes.  Instead of Michael defending his family from crimes they do commit, he will have to defend his wife from a crime she did not commit.

These writers need to figure out who they want to pair with Billy.  His ping ponging from woman after woman is getting ridiculous.  The guy has been on the show for 16 months and in that time he has slept with Amber, Lily, Chloe, Sharon, Mac, Heather, who knows how many ONSs and now likely Victoria. 

Sure he is a player, but he is also a player who cheated on his wife and cheated with married women, including the woman his brother was in love with.  And that is not even counting the fact he had a wedding, divorce and baby in that same time period.  Billy is a class A jerk and after his big revelatory show during the holidays, I thought he wanted to be a better man for his daughter.

Gloria employed by Jabot makes me even MADDER!!!  I absolutely hate this!

CHAPTER Smitty!

I was on another forum talking how tptb seems to be ignoring truly developing Chloe and Billy (even if he's an ass and doesn't deserve her, they have smoking hot chemistry) for couples with boring or otherwise unlikeable girls (Lily, Mac, Heather, Victoria) and we came to the conclusion that Billy is Y&R's Bianca Montgomery. The writers always used Bianca to prop their favorite character even at risk of OOC or character assassination because Bianca was so beloved and likable that of course the viewers would love who she loves and hate who hurt her, case in point: Babe, Reese, Zarf... Y&R, don't, seriously, stop it. Billy isn't so charming and talented and has so much chesmitry with everything that you can just throw him against any actor and you'll get gold. Then again I'm one of the few that doesn't think Billy and his teeth sucking acting are the second coming of acting, so maybe I'm wrong and him and Mac and Victoria and JT will be the best quad ever... I'm not being serious, of course.

So... Colleen's heart somehow made Victor forget what Ashley means to him... Well, that's... God, Victor hit rock bottom with all the Crazy Patty mess, should he be a little grateful to the Abbots? I guess MAB and company doesn't know what layers and subtely is.

I feel the same way about the Sheila storyline like the other comments posted here. I kinda glad she's back because next to Patty she does crazy well (I even like Michelle as her because she was playing Sheila) but if they're just bringing her back just to bring her back and don't gave her a decent story I rather see her dead. Can someone please send me the phone number of Sony because if they play out this storyline as Sheila having a twin they're gonna have to send me a new TV because I throw something at the screen. I would think that if anybody knew Sheila had a twin Lauren would be it. Side note, awhile back somebody posted that Daisy might be Lauren's sister or something (can't happen. I think Lauren's father was already dead when she first appeared on Y&R and if not he was already dead before she had Scotty and Daisy is around Noah's age. BTW, they keep adding people to Michael side of the family, why can't they bring back Lauren's son?). They're really dragging out this story aren't they?

In that picture that Noah found was Daisy older than Ryder or is the boy in the picture another addition to the growing Fisher/Balwin/Bardwell/Fenmore clan?

I don't really like Billy but the way they're pimping him out is ridiculous. Can someone call the casting department and tell them when they decide to hire a new love interest for Billy it would be wise to have the actors audition together to see if they have chemistry before instead of hiring some good-looking actress and pray it works out because it isn't working.

And instead of getting Billy laid the entire time throw a woman to Chance. The guy has been in town for months and I can't figure out why plus the acting sucks. He bores me every time he's on screen. Get him laid. Quick. Maybe he wouldn't suck so much.

To those people who have a beef with Amelia/Victoria (myself included) we're just going to have to put up with it till her contract runs out and isn't it sad that Amelia & Thad doesn't have any chemistry on-screen and they're married for real life. Speaking of contracts, there a good chance that Adam will stick around when the whole baby switch mystery is revealed because I'm guessing he might blame the whole mess on Dr. Taylor.

JT& Mac.............if you wanted to have JT with someone else this would've been the perfect opportunity to bring back Britney.

Victor & Jack................same old, same old. Don't even care.

Patty...........though we all know how's that going to play out I still want to see it because Stacy as Patty is the only thing, to me, that makes Y&R worth watching.

Okay I believe the writing team needs to get back to the basics and stop pulling shock value stunts. I mean, Y&R was on fire a year ago when they were taking time to tell rich, character-driven storylines such as Sharon and Nick making love in the cabin, Phyllis trashing the suite at the Club and the "I HATE MYSELF"she wrote on the mirror, Katherine's "death" (before it draaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaged on forever), etc. Now the soap is barely staying above water as plots teeter on the edge of being complete failures! Adam and his baby-switching tale should be smokin' by now, but everytime I want nothing about the story draws me in. The same thing with Tucker...who the hell is this guy and why must we viewers endure him? Yes, him being Katherine's son was a GREAT twist and I'm loving the return to corporate storylines though I feel we viewers were cheated. Also, let's get things rocking for the Winters family. NuMalcolm might work if they allow DM to make the character his own and give him some depth. Neil and Ashley are okay, though I'd much rather watch Neil paired with Nina. Talk about fireworks! Though I think there's a huge suprise in store when Malcolm's fiancee is introduced...could it be Drucilla back fom the dead? And this soap does NOT need Shelia back. We have enough villains with Patty, Adam, Victor, Tucker and Phyllis constantly tormenting the residents of Genoa City. If MAB and co. just lighten up Y&R just a tad by embracing days of yesteryear when the show was a romantic epic I know viewers would return in droves.

MS annoys the crap out of me when she repeats her lines ugh!!! It seems so fake to me and makes me FF her even in her best performances. I thought I was the only one who noticed.

akbad206 ... I do like and agree for the most part with your two posts regarding characters and plot and obviousiy with your MS observations.

 I do wish that there could be some consistancy, realism and thought given to the plots soon. But I do think that it would be a huge stretch (even in the Y&R alternate universe) that Drucilla could make such a dramatic and unexpected return in that manner.

And ... where is our new opening title sequence that we so desperately need???
