Kevin G. Schmidt Takes Leave From Y&R

Actor Kevin G. Schmidt will be taking a break from The Young and the Restless, which started last week. Schmidt made the announcement via Twitter and Facebook explaining that due to upcoming projects, his alter ego will not be seen in Genoa City for quite some time. Schmidt tweeted,
Shooting my last Y&R for a couple months >.< Gearing up for the new Cartoon Network series, UnNatural History! A huge THANK YOU to the incredible cast & crew as well as the dedicated Y&R viewers/supporters. Look for "Noah" back in G.C. this Summer!

Ohhhh. I didn't know Eden was leaving for awhile. Is it my birthday again? Heh. They both get on my nerves, so good riddance. If only both would stay away, and take Abby with them.

There's no need to recast Noah. He doesn't have a storyline and he's not a very significant character. And if he stayed in GC while Eden's away, creepy Abby would sink her claws into him.

I will be looking forward to your return. when come back and crash Daisy little party before she leave with her tail tucked. hopefully you will bring Hope from bold and beautiful. You deserve a beautiful young woman like Sharon. I hate looking at the smile from Big Red. It is not logical that you would choose your step tramp over your mother. She was a groupie you know. Till we met in summer,bring your swim trunks, for the lake scene. Good Luck!!!
