AMC Names Kreizman and Swajeski Co-Head Writers

ABC is confirming Soap Opera Network's report that David Kreizman and Donna Swajeski have been named co-head writers at All My Children. Brian Frons told SOAPnet:
“David and Donna are the perfect team to bring new ideas to All My Children while remaining true to its core by telling stories with a focus on the integrity of the show's history, its characters and families on the canvas,”

I don't like this at all. Two people who wrote shows that got canceled DURING their times as Head writers...coming to AMC? Just doesn't make sense. And Brian Frons Arse says THE SAME EXACT THING every time he hires someone new to write a soap...just STFU you Hack, UGH!
I guess I'll have to give these two show killers a chance, maybe they'll be good, who knows...:\

According to the full article, Swajeski was an exec at ABC when Agnes created Jesse and Angie. I didn't know that, so I stand corrected about her not having any AMC experience. Now I am intrigued. My big fear though is that like at GL, Kreizman will be allowed to take the lead.

Well I expect Madison may become a main on that show. I expect DK will love writing for the character of Annie. I fear what he will do to Adam just thinking what he did to Alan Spaulding.
Well he made Reva a laughing stock who knows what will happen to Erica.
Im not too happy with the show right now, but I worry about DK. I actually think DS is pretty good, DK may actually be good at AMC without a certain control freak on his back, but hell isn't Frons a control freak too? So who knows.
I wish AMC much luck.

As a former viewer of this show (20 years or so) You'd hope Change would do 'em good, but I doubt it. ABC is so clueless when it comes to Everything Pine Valley.
I'm sure when Fronzie handed his 2 new H. Writers the PINE VALLEY BIBLE, GreenPea's Photo was the Cover Shot......Ryan got the Back.....
Inside probably read a little something like this:

Good luck to the fine folks that still hang in there, day in and day out. Coming from personal experience, not watching AMC at all has been a good thing. I'd can now do more constructive things; cleaning my toilet; drawing circles on pieces of paper, standing in the backyard, watching planes flying overhead.....

I'm going to give these two a chance. With Pratt, you had a guy who is totally out of touch with daytime writing. At least these two have some idea about daytime.
At this point, I don't think the show can get worse. Nowhere to go but up IMO.
And if I see Tom Pelphrey on AMC, I will have to fly to LA and protest. I happen to think TP is so overrated. He's a scenery eater too!
And Marcy Rylan is so annoying! She reminds me of Cheri Oteri...I hope I never see Tom Pelphrey or Marcy Rylan on All My Children.

Agnes Nixon is like 82 or 83 years old. I often wish she was like 15 years younger so she could HW this show again.
These two are going to kill this show.
I don't know why Kreizman keeps getting hired. He isn't that good.

How does David Kreizman continue to get head writing jobs? Though, he can't be any worse than Pratt. Can he? Hopefully the addition of Donna Swajeski will even things out. I'll probably watch AMC when Julia Barr comes back, but there's really only a few characters on this show that I enjoy watching. We'll see!

Mark me confused. What about DK's job at ATWT? I know that show was canceled, but it still has over 7 months left in it. I suppose he'll just walk away from that one and leave us with the tedious writing of Passanante?
I'm not sure how he'll be on AMC, but the moment he showed up in Oakdale, the show perked up considerably. I'm just trying to give DK the benefit of the doubt here. Call me an optimist, but I still have hope for AMC.

I am not sure what this means, but the current promos airing (I've seen them on SOAPnet, but they're probably on ABC too) are really well done. If the show is as good as those promos people would definitely watch.

I just what the heck lol I don't understand when I do bad at work I get yelled at for it and then if I mess up more they fire me how in the world do these people keep getting jobs. If it was so hard to get writers to AMC why not hire me I have no experience but I know the history of the show and I've never been dumbed anything like "killer kreizman"
