I just love Niz. Can't wait for the reveal and Niz to be exposed so we can see Lucky and Nik at each other throats and see Liz finally be truthful about how she feels about Niz. Love ya Niz!!!!

I REALLY hate Lucky/Jason BFF attitude.  Okay I love that GH is acknowledging Lucky and Sam's history although I know they are only doing it because JJ is in the role of Lucky. If GV was still around he wouldn't even be in this storyline. Lucky acted all annoyed that Jason wouldn't let the cops help then he was like yeah using cops isn't something Sam would want.  Yeah the same Sam who hated Jason's lifestyle and complained about it to Lucky when they were together. Now Lucky is pimping them. YUCK. I'm just a bitter LuSam fan.

I just hate Carly.  Franco could have chopped off Josselyn's head and Carly wouldn't have blamed Jason at all. She would find someway to blame Jax.  CarJax will never be the kind of couple they could be because Guza refuses to get Carly off of Jason's tit.

This Franco storyline just sucks, peroid.  Hearing everyone talking about Franco isn't the same as actually having Franco in the storyline. Also why can't Sonny open his mouth when he talks.  All that mumbling is annoying. I always have to have on my CCC when he's on.

PLEASE let Dante find Lulu and not Jason "Bourne" Morgan.

maybe I'm wrong but I don't remember Lucky hating Jason as much for the last year or so....sure he hated him with a passion a couple of years ago during the whole Jake reveal but even befor GV left they really weren't at each other's throats....in fact I'm pretty sure they had civilized conversations.....the whole "bond" thing was a bit much but all in all I could see GV's Lucky helping Jason as well....for Sam at least...and I did like their conversation about her.....I want Jax to fall in a hole....he really irritates me....

Watching right now - only a little in, but had to pop over and say my girl Carly rocks.  I loved that she went and got the bat because she was sure as hell going to let Franco know he wasnt going to be grabbing her again.

Lucky has been hating Jason since he came back from the dead. So for the past 9 years he has hated Jason. True they got cool the past year or so after they agreed on keeping Jake safe but they have not been friends for years. 

So this whole Luke Skywalker/Han Solo friendship they have now is stupid. At least show them building back up to it.

you're right BigDede...It is a bit too sudden...they're also laying it on too thick (bond)..I was merely stating that it's not that out of character for Lucky to do what he can to help Sam...I love the acknowledgement of Lusam history as well...I loved them!!! don't know if it would work with JJ though....GV was just SO SEXY

 I definitely think they are overplaying the Lucky Jason friendship and it isn't working. Guza seems intent on rewriting even recent history. He hates the idea that anyone could hate Jason especially another popular character on the show. JJ is back, he is the real moral centre of the show and always has been. This is all to prop up Jason as the "good" mob enforcer. I want to see Lucky play as though the last ten years have happened. He is a man, he was hurt by Jason, he does not respect Jason's life. He will put him in jail. They are not friends.

As for the Franco story line in general, I love Franco but I am so sick of the same old same old kidnappings. For once I would like to see the kidnapping of Sam, Carly and Lulu to see these women escorted off the scene for a nice long break--perhaps accompanied by Jason, Sonny, and the rest.

Guza should watch Shrek part 2 when all the princesses were kidnapped and they got out themselves.  I would love to see something like that happen on GH. Since Carly is so head strong and stubborn, she could be the one to bust a hole though the wall with her head.

Coming from a TRUE Carly fan from DAY 1.. Today is the first day.. Laura resembled carly SLIGHTLY... they are finally getting her away from that WOMAN/MOTHER of the year IMAGE.. Caroline Carly  Benson  is not that AT ALL.. and to change her WHOLE Facade for an Actress was RIDICULOUS.. over the past 6 months her writing has changed shes become more like the Carlys Core.. The scene where she grabbed the bat today .. was like an ode when carly (Tamara Braun) came in raging at the mob bosses... over sonny...

Carly will always be the Female Central Figure of that Mob Induced COMA... So its better to bring her back to her core being as the MOtherly, Vengeful, Down for anything, and Jasons Lacky no matter what man shes with...

Is anyone else annoyed by the shotty setup of this showdown? I just feel like the groundwork of Sam's kidnapping wasn't shown, Jason piecing it together wasn't shown, Jason starting to work on it wasn't shown, etc. IDK, it's just bothering me. 

CarJax is amazing. Laura and Ingo work so well together.

I'm annoyed that they're rewriting Jason and Lucky's relationship just b/c JJ is back, but I'm willing to go with it at this point. And I think Lulu's reasoning behind the mutual respect was Jake. But she obviously couldn't come out and say that.

Speaking of which, I was wondering why Sonny suddenly felt the need to give Dante Lulu's backstory, but what you said about her being 'napped being the reason makes sense. And this better bring about some amazing Lu&Dom. I love them so much.

I was pissed that Nikolas showed up today. It had been all happy LL2 scenes for a while there. I'm pretty sure Lucky heard what Nik said, b/c his facial expression changed. But, this will probably turn into a one -sided reveal [as in, Nikolas will say he loves Elizabeth, but she's been resisting him or something. And then the affair still won't be out]. It is pretty ironic that it's happening now that Liz seems to have made up her mind.

i agree the writers are being a little heavy handed with JJ's Lucky and Jason's rediscovered friendship, but I think they're trying to acknowledge (for those of us w/short attention spans) the previous friendship and bring these two characters into each other's orbits as they were previously so polarized re: Liz & Jake.  i don't feel the writers are being completely myopic regarding Lucky & Jason because of comments like Maxie's. 

I personally don't see what all the drama is about the Lucky/Jason friendship.  Yes, they have had many problems over the years.  This was especially bad during the Liarson reign of horror.  But I have also seen over the years where they have been cool with each other.  When Manny was still around and Jason and Sam were trying to prove that he was not following the rules of his probation, Lucky let Jason break into Manny's room at Kelly's because he had a hunch something was up but couldn't prove it enough to get a warrant.  When Jason and Spinelli were trying to turn themselves in right before JaSam got back together in late 2006, Jason insisted that Lucky and Cruz be the ones to go get them.  He also told Spinelli they were the most trust worthy cops in PC.  I mean, they didn't have Sunday dinners together, but they have been cool at times over the years even if their life goals often put them at opposite ends.  Plus, with this whole thing revolving around Sam, I get why Lucky would want to help, and I'm glad he told Jason he tried to get Sam to change her mind about going back to him again.  Hopefully it'll wake Jason up to what he needs to do this time around to keep her.

Anyhoo... shout out to BigDede.... I started reading the comments and saw a posting full of Niz love and I just knew it was you before I even looked.  Hope you enjoy it while it lasts.

Mayjador - ICAM with your view on the Lucky/Jason friendship and for me the conflict truly came through when they were in Jocelyn's room as they discussed how Lucky tried to talk Sam out of getting back together with Jason.

Maxie maxie Maxie - still looking for the pics.  I was so hoping she was there looking for a way to save her gal pal.

Second shout out to my gal carly, not just for the bb bat but also for keeping calm enough to remember things about the car and her final plea to Jason to kick Francos ass.

I think the writing for this story is kind of lame...why on earth would Franco think for even a second that Jason would have a hard time chosing between saving Sam or saving someone like Maxie or Lulu. 

So Lizard tells Niz to step and Lucky heard the Nik ILY.  Oh brother, lets see how long it takes Trampabeth to reverse herself and hook up with Nik again.  Poor Lucky.

LOVE Carly!  Her scenes with Franco, Jason and family were great!

I'm quite enjoying the Franco storyline, particularly when he's actually in the scene.  He always has me laughing.  I find this scary psycho to be extremely funny!

And sorry BigDede but I can understand Sonny quite clearly.  I may not like what comes out of his mouth but I can understand each and every word perfectly.

And I believe Jason finds Sam and Dante finds Lulu so hopefully that's what both you and Perkie want too.

BigDede & Perkie - I'm loving Lucky and Jason cooperating with each other!  LOVE JONATHAN JACKSON!  LUCKY IS BACK!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!  I never thought of GV as Lucky and sorry but GV could have never handled these scenes.  He was a one note actor, in this part at least and all these scenes we've been watching since JJ's return would be way beyond his acting range in my opinion.  Thanks to JJ my Lucky is back and worth watching again!

Perkie I'm with you.  How does he get Lulu out of the Metro Court with no one seeing them or trying to stop them?

And I loved the quirky convo between Lulu and Maxie but I agree Maxie wins the dumb dumb award for the year.  Why would she go to Franco's knowing he kidnapped Sam and that he's a killer?  DUMB!!!

megana - Sorry but I totally disagree with you about Lucky and Jason.  It is definitely working for me!

syworld82 - Again sorry but I couldn't disagree more.  LW as Carly traveled with Jason to the rain forest gun in hand to find the monkey virus antidote, she was one of those who took charge during the hospital toxin explosion and fire and was extremely fiesty during the hostage crisis against Jerry.  LW has always played Carly as a strong woman so today's scene where she grabbed the bat is nothing new for her or for me.

JaSamlover - I agree with you.  I think the editing over the past couple of weeks stinks.  It's very choppy and there were a lot of missed opportunities to fill in the blanks.  It would have been nice to see some of the inbetween stuff.

I thought today's show was great.  The only part I hated was Sonny walking in to Carly and Jax's house without knocking and demanding that Michael and Morgan come home with him.  He has no idea what's just happened and he has no custody rights.  The man is an arrogant a**hole!

I loved Franco's line when he saw Lulu and asked "where's the other one?". 

Sure bite that once a year she does a strong Motive.. but up until recently she has not been a consisent Strong willed person.. shes been CAR-CASSIE... im sure this is a fault to Laura wright because as an actor myself u never let go of a character completely.. so when carlys not in sweeps She becomes this annoying SOCCER MOM.. something that is very unlike carly.. Carly gets in peoples business Carly tells people what to do Carly walks in other peoples houses.. carly leaves the babies for the sittter.. she is not MOTHER OF THE YEAR...

but like with all recasts Characters get changed to apease the actors who are playing them

syworld82 -  Well  I LOVE Laura Wright as Carly!  She's given Carly some sophistication which was lacking in the previous grown up versions in my opinion and I love her take on the character.  I find LW's version of Carly to be a very stong woman, loyal, fierce and fiesty and quite the protective mother bear.  She was even protective of Kristina in a recent scene with Keifer which is more than I can say for Alexis.  She has fabulous chemistry with all of the characters/actors she interacts with and I enjoy watching her very much!!!

All I saw is respect between them,yes it comes out of the blue , But in many ways it should have been like this ....

GH Lover sorry but I disagree - Franco falls directly on Jason's shoulders, because its Jason he has a man crush on, and its people Jason loves that he is kidnapping.

EET I agree that I can't understand Franco's thought process regarding who Jason would save Sam or Maxie/Lulu, I mean DUH.  I get the Carly - Sam dynamic but if you really needed a third, why not Monica, Spin, Jake and yes even Liz would have made a better choice.

BigDede - Outside of your Carly comments, I can honestly say ILY - I want Niz, even for the short term, I just want something other than LL2000, and mind you I thought I would be all over a JJ version reunion but nope. 

The reason a serial killer is obsessed with Jason is that Jason is a serial killer.  I kinda wished Jax would've pointed that out.  I couldn't believe Jason said, "Some people think I'm a serial killer," as if it were a matter of opinion and not fact.  Also Carly's idiotic comment about how the cops didn't save her, but Jason did... uh, they didn't report any of it to the cops. 

I'm so sick of the Jason Saves The Day routine.  It's his fault he NEEDS to keep saving the day. 

Again Jason didn't invite Franco to his life like other mobster .. he didn't hurt someone that Franco loves Like Diego or Manny .. Franco could have just love what Jason loves and still will go for the people that he love ....

At this point, I have to say, I respectfully disagree with most of you.  The obvious hatred for Jason in this thread is clouding some judgment, and even some recollection of history.

In life there shades of gray, and in media, shades of gray provide the most entertainment. 

Yes, Lucky and Jason have had issues in the past, centered around Liz.  But, before the fire, Lucky and Jason were friendly with Lucky even doing some jobs for a greatly diminished mob presence in Port Charles (in comparison to now).

Now, Liz slept with Jason, and Lucky was angry for awhile, mostly while he didn't have Liz in his life, understandable.  But as time passed, Lucky's hatred began to fade, as he realized he drove her into Jason's arms by sleeping with Maxie.  Jason & GV had some scenes in the penthouse, and surrounding his adoption of Jake which began to illustrate this.  However, fact is, GV is not half the actor that JJ is, in terms of emotional range and scope.  They can give JJ these complex situations and emotions, where as GV could pull off one angle, desperate, needy, and weak.

Bottom line: Lulu nailed it.  There is respect there.  If  there was not, neither party would have agreed to the current setup with Jake, and as long as that is present, the respect between men who are fathers makes sense.  There friendship is building from there.

But that's just it.  Before the fire, Lucky was 12 (ok, not literally, since he was probably late teens early twenties, but that's not my point).

Lucky went through a serious ordeal at the hands of Helena and came back a changed person.  He grew up.  He decided to operate on the right side of the law. 

Jason operates on the wrong side of the law.  Therefore, no matter how friendly they may have been 10+ years ago, they can't be anymore by virtue of what they do for a living. 

GV may have been a limited actor and most of that is squarely the fault of the writers who gave him nothing to do for years on end.  However, and this may be my Jason hate speaking, I'm willing to admit that, but to me, GV's Lucky had zero respect for Jason or Sonny or what they do for a living.  He may have been civil to him at times in respect to Jake, but civility does not equal respect. 

I don't understand why people bring up the Jucky friendship/relationship from 10+ years ago since they are not the same people they were then (recast not withstanding).  It's like every single time Lisa mentions how shocking it is that Patrick is no longer the 20 something, boozing college horndog.  People change. 

If GV were still playing the part, I guarantee you, we wouldn't be seeing Lucky and Jason having chatty conversations and beeing cutsie pootsie together.

JMoney - I hope you don't think we have dislike for Jason a lot of us love him just don't like stupid writing.  While I agree there was a respect there once, I just can't fall into the everything is hunky dory category because JJ is playing Lucky. 

 I think we should also say that the change on Jucky scenes is because of the New Old Lucky ...
every Actor take his character to his own way .... This is how JJ see it when he played Lucky , Lucky was Jason friend ......

And After Jason got Jake home safely He didn't know that Jake was Jason's or that Liz slept with Jason .... He got all envy and got him arrested .... and for me that made Lucky more loser than ever..
