What's so special about AMC's June episode? Is it Chucky baby's epically worst episode?

Why does ABC always choose episodes that are so recent? Why can't they be like CBS and get ones from like 3-4 years ago! I would kill to see AMC episodes from back then, when the Pratt Hack wasn't writing. Show us Jerica's wedding episode, or an old Zendall episode!!!

It's also known as Ally McBeal: The Next Generation.  I can't believe you've never heard of it.  It's been on the MIA Network for four years now!

Haven't seen AMC regularly since...forever. I am glad Pratt is out and Lorraine Broderick is in. Hopefully she can work some magic into this shell of a show.

I would also like to know who decides what old episodes they air on ABC. They practically never show anything that anyone I know would care to see repeated.

Sheila Carter returns on Thanksgiving!  Hmm...could she be returning to Y&R as Ryder's mom?  Could Daisy be Sheila and Massimo's daughter?  Hmm...

I say go back even furthur than that. I don't understand it either, it makes no sense. These episodes are hardly liked and couldn't dream of being watchable (at least in regards to AMC).

We have this whole David/Amanda/Jake thing, why don't they play off that and play an episode from the Jake/Liza/Adam storyline?

Or better yet...*gasp* a Martin Thanksgiving episode!

They aren't interested in showing fans what they want to see.  They never show any evidence of giving fans what they want (with the possible exception of--FINALLY--the firing of Pratt).

I am guessing there are two possible reasons why they are showing what they are showing:

1) It's a pivotal episode that has direct impact on the current storyline and they want fans who might be watching to reminisce on where things have come from that earlier point in the storyline; or

2) It was a low-rated episode that they want more people to see.

As for why they wouldn't show a vintage episode, wouldn't they have to pay residuals to a bunch of former employees?  Maybe they just don't want the headaches in their accounting offices.

I don't know.  I'm just guessing.
