As the World Turns Spoilers

Rosanna takes the bull by the horns and proposes to Craig. Craig realizes he may be caught between a rock and a hard place concerning Carly, but accepts anyway. It seems our boy cannot get the blonde vixen out of his mind as Carly continues to ponder a future with him. When she feels Jack needs her help, however, she's off and running to New York City, where they begin a search for Simon. Craig follows her thinking that she will begin drinking again, but Carly tells him there isn't a problem and dispatches him back to Oakdale.
New York City is the focus of the next stop on Jack's tour. While looking for Simon, he runs into Molly Conlan (Lesli Kay). Molly, who hasn't changed that much after all, is the mistress of a congressman who throws his hat into the ring for governor. She reveals their affair when she is dumped and is subsequently fired from her job as a news reporter. Things heat up when Molly and Jack discover that the brakes on her car were tampered with. Super hero Jack traces the crime back to the disgruntled congressman, who eventually admits he is the culprit. What a nicely wrapped up package that is! Molly later leaves Jack and Carly alone to find an old friend. Hmmm, Simon perhaps? Another nicely wrapped up package, especially when he shows up just as Jack and Carly get all hot and bothered.
Mick is getting the backing he needs from Paul and Emily. Barbara isn't so convinced and warns Paul that Mick may be scamming them. Mick turns on the charm and convinces Barbara that his product is good for cancer patients. Better yet, he needs a live guinea pig in order to get FDA approval! Babs, with a wary eye on Mick, agrees. There is more to Mick's story; he is hiding his own medical problems.
There is a-quad a-brewing with the young adult crowd. Maddie, Casey, Alison and Hunter are all on each others' minds, but not at the right times. Maddie and Casey try to hook up, but Casey is having salacious thoughts about Alison. Meanwhile, Hunter and Maddie continue their online flirtation. Ever the quick wit, Alison adds up the equation and comes up with Emily.
Katie has had enough of Henry and decides the best way to keep him away is get a restraining order. Brad continues to try to reach Katie and finally makes the connection. Henry's chickens come home to roost when he finds himself in deep trouble thanks to an old enemy.
Luke and Noah's drama continues to play out this upcoming week. Mason pops up at the hospital and he and Luke duke it out again. This time Lily and Damian intervene. Mason returns and tells Luke he will sue him and blames him for Noah's accident. Luke tells Mason to take a hike and he does. Noah is rushed to Memorial after his accident and the guilty-feeling Luke is by his side. Noah needs a risky surgical procedure, but in order to have it he needs the signature of a relative. After attempts to reach Noah's aunt (paging Robin Mattson, we need you now!) falls flat, Luke realizes there is nothing he can do to help Noah. Damian brings up the idea to Lily that they adopt Noah so he can get the medical help he needs. After the surgery, when the bandages come off, Noah realizes he's blind. It's probably because he finds out he is now brothers with his lover. Damian has other problems to deal with, well one problem really and her name is Meg. When she cranks the screws on the torture rack, Damian becomes unnerved. What's a guy to do? Sleep with her of course!
Liberty has a paper to write, but cannot focus. Like so many before her, she looks for inspiration in the bottom of a bottle. Dusty rides in on his white stallion and stops Liberty from drinking. She unloads on Dusty and feels inspired to write her essay. Janet could not be any more grateful to our knight in shining armour.
With Thanksgiving around the corner, I can say that long time viewers will be happy that Nancy will make an appearance to celebrate with the Hughes family. YAY!

Are any of the 4 going to stay? Thank you DC for being positive and keeping up with the latest on ATWT. And keeping updated on GL I’m looking forward to Daniel Crossgrove (Bill Lewis) coming to ATWT. And I can't wait for Nancy to return, she is ATWT history that they shouldn't forget, she should help Kattie, she was always close to her had nice scenes toghether. Is Tom staying? I’m an older lady that’s not in the internet but like this site for the quick and accurate information.

Isn't Noah over the age of 18??? Why would anyone need a signature from a relative for someone who is of age???? This story makes NO SENSE!!!!oh wait we are talking ATWT...

I don't have a problem with the adoption. Of course it doesn't make sense, but none of the legal stuff does on ATWT. I'm willing to embrace the classic soapiness of it and see what effect it will have on the characters. It's probably another way for Damian to cement himself in Lily and Luke's lives.
Oh, and I've always wanted to have Robin Mattson come back playing Noah's aunt Ruth. LOVE her.

Joan76, Molly is likely to be coming back to Oakdale in the week of 23rd November just in time for the Snyders' Thanksgiving dinner to reconnect with Holden. She will be staying for a few months thru early 2010 at least.
Simon will pay Katie a visit next week and will be staying around 6 to 8 weeks. It is rumoured that he will be exiting in January.

Poor Damian and Lily! That wretched Meg is going to ruin their hot, passionate love!
This show is pretty darn good! I just wish that the Damian and Lily story were taking place slower. Given the pace of it, come January, Damian is going to be out on his ear when his duplicity and affair with Meg is exposed.

Mike,
You mentioned Holden's hair in an earlier post. What the heck is up with Holden's hair and slovenly look? Shaggy hair can look good but Holden's cut and his lack of shaving make him appear awful in comparison to sleek and dapper Damian.

Are they thinking of doing a Dusty, Janet hook-up in the wake of Karly/Jack re hook-up? I sure hope so...

I think it's looking like a Dusty/Janet with a little jealous Terri thrown in for good measure!
Joss...I wish I knew. It's very distracting!
Darth...Noah's age was so obvious I didn't even consider it! Maybe he needs a signer because he can't do it for himself? Any med peeps out there?
Joan...thanks for the comments! Scott Holmes may not be on much, but he's not going anywhere. Tom is always the poor guy who never knows what's going on until it's happened! He was never that clueless! Yes, I agree, Katie needs a little Nancy right now.

Everyone needs a little Nancy.... Just so we can see Helen Wagner. Love her.
BTW, you can be adopted when you're over 18. So age is not an issue here.

What guy in their right mind would choose Alison over Maddie? Oh well it's Maddie's gain since I think Hunter is a heck of alot more interesting than Casey.
I thought that they were gonna have Mick lust after Alison as well?

I am so excited about Molly's return!
And even though I'm a little icked out at the whole adoption thing, it does kinda make sense. Even if someone is over 18, if they are unable to sign for a major medical procedure, that decision usually falls back on the family. With malpractice suits rampant these days, doctors are obligated to ask permission for everything and a lot of time their hands are tied otherwise. The only time they are allowed to do surgery with what is known as "implied consent" is if they are already doing a procedure and something life-threatening happens that they need to fix. In most of these cases though, consent was already given for the initial surgery and the "implied" is that the person under would want the doctor to save his/her life in the emergency that has arisen.
Hope that helps. (FYI, this was relayed to me by a friend who is in their last year of medical school so any other doctors out there who want to correct, please feel free!)

I give you Holden's hair does look a bit like a bird's nest these days but I am sorry, Damien "sleek and dapper" hmmm...not on my screen.

Thanks Jackie. It does answer my question. I thought that might be the case.

Here's what I don't get about the "adoption"...why can't someone call his father in jail and have them fax his consent? Just because he is in jail, he hasn't given up his parental rights. His father hasn't even been mentioned. I'm lost on that one.
Secondly....why is it that Noah can't give consent for a life saving surgery..but he can give consent to be adopted? Doesn't Noah need to sign off on that being that he's an adult and all? Aren't they both signatures for legal purposes??? - Someone else thought of that, I can't take credit for it.
