Wishful Casting: Scott Reeves' Real Life Wife Melissa as General Hospital's Felicia

Since hubby Scott Reeves has booked a recurring gig on General Hospital as Steven Lars Webber, wouldn't it be the bee's knees if Fronsie-kins tapped Reeves' real-life wife Melissa Reeves as Felicia Jones? GH already has a former Days of Our Lives superstar playing Flea's daughter Maxie (Kirsten Storms), and doing a bang up job I might add. How much you wanna bet lightning could actually strike twice for a change with Missy in the role of the Runaway Mom? GH could then bring back Dr. Tom Hardy, last played by Matt Ashford, who of course played opposite Missy in one of my all-time favorite pairings EVER, Jack and Jennifer on DAYS. It's too bad GH iced poor, drunk AJ Quartermaine, or Reeves could also share screen time with Jenn's "first love" Billy Warlock in Port Chuck. Come on Fronsie, whaddya say? Maxie needs to make nice with her Mama and I need myJennifer Rose Felicia! Either that or to up my dosage of Lexapro...

pfffft! thats not wishful casting, what the hell is wrong with Kristina Wagner?!? You know, the original one fans loved for decades until GH discarded her like they do all the prominent vets!! She's still willing to be Felicia!
It's like saying, "wouldn't it be fun/wishful if we replaced Genie Francis with, oh I dunno, Deidre Hall or Mary Beth Evans"!

I agree with disillusioned GH fan. Kristina belongs on GH as Felicia, and Missy should be on Days as Jennifer.
But you know, Days will never give Jennifer and Jack a contract again. If Missy and Matt ever return again, it'll be for recurring roles, like Wally Kurth, Judi Evans, Patsy Pease, etc.

She has already expressed interest in coming back. With Carly coming, Jennifer needs to come back also.
Felicia is not needed right now on GH unless I could get a Flea/Luke/Tracy triangle. I LOVED the Flea/Luke/Laura one.

Felicia is soooo missed on GH and I loved Kristina! She was great in her laytest brief return...BUT I could actually see Missy Reeves as Felicia...and wouldn't she look great with Jax!

Why does Maxie need her Mama? Maxie is only on the show to prop up Spinelli. If Felicia did return, we'd just be treated to day after day of Maxie berating her and saying Spinelli is her real family.
This character doesn't have a great history of being recast. And ABC's stunt casting doesn't work out well, if the Beth Ehlers/RPG disaster on AMC is any indication. If they want to hire her just because they're hiring her husband, then they can create a new character for her.

I agree Kristina's acting was 'rusty' to say the least last time she visited GH but I still don't want to see the character of Felicia recasted. Kristina is Felicia. If Kristina isn't in the role I have zero interest in Felicia.
Just look at ATWT..just because a veteran actor was popular on one show doesn't mean they will have the same success on another although Austin Peck seems to be an exception.
Outside of the fantastic Stephen Nichols (in the 90's) and Kirsten Storms (currently) have there been any other actors that have moved from DOOL to GH and were highly successful?

Billy Warlock, who played Frankie Brady / Francois Von Leuschner on DAYS went on to play AJ Quartermaine.
AJ wasn't always the best written character as you recall.
And Wally Kurth, who recently reprised his role of Justin Kiriakis, played Ned Ashton on GH. He did have some strong storylines with Alexis and Lois for a while.
Mary Beth Evans (Kayla Brady on DAYS) did not fare so well on GH as Katherine Bell.
Matthew Ashford, who played the popular Jack Deveraux on DAYS was not so popular as Tom Hardy on GH.
I'd personally love to see Missy back on DAYS but if she is going to GH, how about in the role of Julia Barrett?
She could have had AJ's baby. And maybe Matthew Ashford could reprise his role as Tom Hardy and get involved with Julia. And is AJ REALLY dead?

I would LOVE to see the character of Felicia re-cast. I was never a fan of the character, especially the baby voice (I can still hear it in my head) but if they brought on Melissa I would likely change my tune. The focus at GH (and DOOL, for that matter) seems to be shifting to bringing back popular families/pairings/core elements. I am sure it can't happen overnight, but, slowly and surely there seems to be change brewing.
