REAL LIFE SOAP: Brenda Dickson, "Heil Hitler!"

Help me Holy Ghost. Former Young and Restless diva Brenda Dickson has won her appeal against that mean, old puddy tat of an ex-husband, John Abbott, er Jan Weinberg. You may recall, Dickson was jailed after being placed in contempt of court following her divorce hearings. Now according to KITV.com, the original ruling by Judge Ito's evil twin cousin has been overturned, which could make the difference in Dickson being awarded millions of dollars and property! Check out this clip which has Dickson in a Hawaii court saying "Heil Hitler" to Weinberg's lawyer. John Silva SO wouldn't have taken that business. This mess is better than anything I've seen on any of the seven soaps all year!

Congratulations to Ms. Dickson!
If you research Dickson's case, you'd find out that Dickson went through a brutal divorce that left her penniless. She had to move in with her aged mother because the judge gave all of her assets to her husband. Let me repeat that: The money that she had earned was given to her millionaire ex-husband. She received nothing.
Imagine being a 60-something woman and being thrown out on the street with no money and little career possibilities. That's fraking scary.
One of the leading groups of the new poor are former middle class women who lose their wealth because of divorce.
I congratulate Dickson on winning after such a painful, long struggle. The woman deserves respect for having to fight tooth and nail to just get back her own money and possessions.

On many occasions, I've praised your work and explained how much respect I have for you, your reporting, and the passion you bring to DC (check the recent podcasts).
I read all of the posts on DC and comment accordingly. I would have made the same statement to anyone. Ask Jillian, Js30d, or others if I haven't questioned their comments. (Look back at the recent posting on Eric Braeden.)
Moreover, I shared the same opinion that Bob did. Your comment wasn't funny. It was tired and stale in the same way that the majority of jokes about people of color being/looking just like some other person of color, whom they don't resemble, are tired, crusty and lame.
On the flipside, Appleridge took me to task for a comment that he thought I made that was insensitive to gays. I apologized because he was right.
As for being the "PC police," did you notice my comment to Luke about "Springtime for Hitler"? I'm all for a joke; Luke's was funny, but some jokes, like yours, aren't funny.

Of course Luke's joke about Hitler, someone who massacred a nation was funny, but my comparing the judge in this case to Ito was wrong. Please. YOU think it wasn't funny, you are entitled to your opinion, and I am entitled to mine, which is don't read me. People like you tie the hands of comedians. Norman Lear wouldn't have gotten a show greenlit, if it was up to you. You make a HUGE point, if YOU think it's funny, it's okay, but if YOU don't it's not. I do me.
