Natalie Hall Cast As New Colby On All My Children

It didn't take All My Children long to recast the role of Colby Chandler, last played by Brianne Moncrief. Soap Opera Digest is reporting the role will now be played by Natalie Hall. The actress, who has appeared on The Good Wife and Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, will start filming in mid-October. No word on her first air date.

She's hot (Judy Blye Wilson's loves the pretty), but I hope she has some acting chops & charisma to pull off the role and make it her own. I never thought Brianne was bad, she was just blah.

You guys are so funny and on point. I didn't dislike Brianne at all and recasting her is useless, IMO. Getting a new writer should be at the top of AMC's to do list.

I'm willing to give her time... I mean I would if I could make it through an entire episode. For all the people that loved Ambyr Childers she was pretty bad in the beginning and had a tendency to yell her lines a la Caitlin Van Zandt.

I love AMC......BUT EVERYONE NEEDS TO STOP WATCHING THIS HORRIBLE F****** SHOW, until PRATT is fired.........with all the changes going on, let's hope this is in the works. Can't hurt to hope and pray for change.

I thinkshe could be good for the role. I thought Brianne was a fine recast for Ambrey Childers, but it would be intersting to see what this actress could do, y'know, if the show wasn't so darned unwatchable these days.
And jaredw, Daniel Kennedy [who plays Petey] has been let go too. It's really too bad, I liked the actor and his version of the character, even though I know others didn't.

The only positive I can say about this post is that 'The Good Wife" is suuuuuuch a great show. That's about all I've got.
And I don't think it matters if she can act or not. The Writing on this show is so putrid, it all gets jumbled together anyway....

She's cute, she also did Broadway so she's a big time upgrade! now w/ the show moving to LA and this is going to be a stronger actress, so it is important that they put her scenes w/ strong actors to appeal to viewers, Sterling Sulieman is in California he was & still is perfect for the love interest role, bring back Dre Woods you might have an AMC supercouple.
Dre & Colby needs to be revisited, thier story ended short when Daniel Kannedy's Petey was horribly written, I'm so on board for Dre/Colby, plus they have a better backstory and it was left in To Be Continued mode.
