Sarah Brown Joins The Bold and the Beautiful

Forget those dreams of Sarah Brown becoming Victoria Newman on The Young and the Restless. The Associated Press is reporting Brown has signed a two-year contract with The Bold and the Beautiful, and will be joining the cast as Sandy Sommers, a character who will mix it up with Nick, Bridget and Whip. Could this have been the role Brad Bell wanted for Gina Tognoni? Interestingly, the character of Whip is portrayed by Brown's former General Hospital leading man Rick Hearst.

Katiebug9624 ITA! I was desperately hoping to see her as Victoria on Y&R! Now I don't think there's anyone left to replace AH since GT and SB are taken... Well maybe Tamara Braun. I was just thinking how awesome SB would be as Victoria in Victor's hospital scenes this morning. AH was just so... like... she acts like she's wrapped in a layer of cotton candy and I just want to tear it all off to get to the emotion underneath!
I might start watching B&B too! Do we have an air date yet?

Great! I'm tired of the cougar storyline, Eric and his plastic barbie and Ridge and Broke. Just what B&B needs. They need to use the new people more, I hate to say it they should make it an hour, but sometimes you feel like you've been watching an hour of it.

Tamara Braun is my vote for Victoria!
I liked Amelia Heinle on AMC, but since I started watching Y&R again, I agree that she just isn't cutting it as Victoria. There are times when she's so stiff when she needs to react and have emotion! Too stiff! Recast! Who cares if she's married to Thad Luckinbill? Recast pronto!
And you never know, Sarah Brown signing a two year contract doesn't mean much on B&B unless the character's last name is Forrester. I've seen many soap actors sign on over the years who were phased out quickly or had minimal impact overall (Antonio Sabato Jr., Mario Lopez, Lorenzo Lamas, Robin Riker (aka Beth Logan), Victor Alfieri, Eileen Davidson, Sarah Buxton, Michael Dietz, Sydney Penny). But my vote is still for Tamara Braun!

I read a quote recently from Tamara Braun that many soaps have contacted her, but Y&R wasn't one of them and that her playing Victoria was just a rumor. Of course she could just be saying this to keep any deals quiet, but I don't think we will be seeing Tamara on Y&R, at least not as Victoria Newman. I just get the feeling Y&R likes Amelia Heinle and doesn't want to recast her. Who knows?
If Sarah Brown's new character on B&B doesn't shoot kids, I'm sure she'll be thrilled there! And hopefully the B&B wardrobe department gives her some color!

This is great. I wish that she was on Y&R as VN, but I hope that she is a hellraiser that will be the troublemaker that last long and stir up some trouble becaue B&B is getting old. I'm really happy about this. I actually couldn't picture SBr as Victoria on Y&R, and I can't picture TB as Victoria either. I'd prefer seeing Heather back in the role.

Sarah Brown coming to B&B is such good news the show really needs new characters too much Logan, Foresster has made for a boring show Brown is a talented actress to boot. I would like to offer another name in the hat for Victoria Newman how about Marcy Rylan (ex-Lizzie GL) she would be a great solid actress she would bring some sass and spunk to the role she has the ability to engage you as viewer.

Sarah at B&B isn't a bad thing. Not at all. Could becoming something great. And to see her working together with Rick Hearst again is getting me excited.
Now, just recast Thomas, Rick and Marcus and I'm happy with this show. BTW, Kyle Lowder's long abstinence and the bigger cast gives me the feeling that he might already off the show.... I mean we haven't seen him in weeks (or months?). Not that I would complain about that ... just gives me the idea that he might be gone for good...
I'm all in for Tamara Braun going to Y&R as Victoria. They have to recast Amelia Heinle. Can't believe that the executives over there don't see that the audience just isn't into her as Victoria Newman.
