Crystal Chappell appeared on CNN International as the "Connector of the Day" to talk about Guiding Light and her upcoming web series Venice. According to the host, fans crashed the CNN website with their questions for Chappell.

The funniest moment of the segment came when the host clarified that she didn't mean to suggest that Chappell had been on Guiding Light for 72 years. Chappell's response, "I look pretty good for my age." Watch the segment after the jump.

LOL they crashed the site! Take note, Corday: don't mess with La Chappell.
I've been a fan of hers for years and years, so it's been so awesome to see her finally getting all this press and attention. The DAYS PR people have got to be eating up this free mainstream press for their big returning actor.

I'm happy for Crystal.By doing this interview she is trying to connect with the international audience and she is also wanting it to grow. The more exposure the better. I love it!!!

How happy are the DAYS folks now that they okayed Crystal Chappell's stint on "Venice"? The lady has been on a great press roll that can only benefit her return to DOOL. Also, it's nice to have such an articulate and bright advocate for soaps out there treating the genre with love and respect at a time when most everyone else in the mainstream press is heralding its demise.

Does anyone watch this show on a regular basis because I want to know if the host usually speaks this quick and has these usual mannerisms?
To me she looks a little smitten with Crytal, which is adorable. You'll especially note the fluster after Crystal says she looks good for being on a show for 72 years.

As always, Crystal Chappell was a class act. This was a beautiful piece done by CNN international. I really love the way they set up the interview and how the host let Crystal talk. Bravo!
