Chando Sticking Around for a Hunter/Maddie Love Match on ATWT?

Uber polite soap hunk Evan Alex Cole (Hunter) probably got tired of me pestering him on the red carpet at the Daytime Emmys about when he was going to get a love interest who wasn't related to him on As The World Turns. To satisfy my lust for story scoop, Cole offered up a juicy tidbit about some upcoming chemistry testing with Alexandra Chando (Maddie)!

"Alex and I are going to be working together quite a bit, so we'll see where that goes," he teased. "Hallelujah, some love for the only Stewart man in town!"

Both Hunter and Maddie are adorable characters. This makes total sense. Throw in a basket of puppies and you'll have me going "awww..." for a very long time. I can't wait.

I like Maddie and I think Hunter is ok, yet I am indifferent to this news. Maybe I will feel differently when I see play out.

You know TPTB don't want the audience to miss out on the upcoming and EXCITING Casey/Alison/Adam triangle.

I am sure Maddie being in town will stir up Alison's insecurites (doesn't take much to do that) and she'll be back to waffling on everything in existence and then crying on Adam's shoulder about her feelings. Then it will be yet another guy who thinks Alison is a super magical wondrous person that the audience will be forced to watch jump through hoops for the chance to be with her.

Ugh.

Maddie was always one of the my least favorite characters, so I am not looking forward to her coming back. However, the show does need another young female character and she will probably work with Hunter. However, I bet their storyline will be more like High School Musical than anything serious and truly entertaining.

If you throw in Maddie's DNA make-up (her sister being a serial killer, and her mom a gold digging nut job) and combine it with Hunter's scrambled egg DNA gene pool...YIKES!
They may make a cute couple, but the reproductive possibilities are...out of this world!
