I FEEL your pain. And speaking of pain, Y&R was so very painful to watch today thanks to the Devon/Tyra hook-up. (Was it just me or did Bryton and Eva look disgusted too.) I am going to go out on a limb and say that a Devon/Tyra entanglement is THE WORST story, plot, twist, turn, what-the-fuck-ever you want to call it that Y&R has EVER allowed to seep onto our screens. I cannot think of a worse offense.

PS: I am NOT jumping on an "I hate Y&R bandwagon." I simply think the Devon/Tyra pairing is very, Very, VERY BAD and terribly uninspired.

P3 botched return and the Devon/Tyra hookup is the worst s/l on Y&R this year. Add the art theft mess and the Chipmunk disaster, Y&R is just a bad mess.

The Tyra and Devon pairing is just the realization of Y&R's segregation of its black characters and utter lack of imagination on what to do with them.

Why not explore Devon and Roxanne's relationship? Why not drop Tyra into Daniel's life. Tyra has no relationships with anyone outside of the Winters. None. Zilch.

This is the second man with whom lust over came reason. How can the character generate any fan base if she only "steals" men from other characters and sleeps with her nephew. It just doesn't work.

How exactly will these two explain their relationship to Anna?

Tyra: Anna, Good news! You know your brother, Devon, my nephew? Well he's going to be your new daddy.

Didn't you laughed during Kristof St. John's interview when he poked fun at how often Anna sang. I guess she is no longer affiliated with the show.

Tyra is just not a heroine or a villainess. She's also not trashy fun like Amber or Brooke Logan. The writers just don't know what to do with the character. It's sad.

If she's still watching her old show, I bet Nia Peeples is Laughing her A$$ off at that craptastic event yesterday!!!

josstheguy I loved that interview with KSJ. I noticed his subtle hints at the girl just singing too much and he even gave some subtle but nice hints that Eva just isn't cutting it as his love interest and her acting is less than steller.

Subtle? KSJ was as subtle as a hammer hitting us upside the head. He was definitely not pleased with Nia being fired, Neil's cheating on Karen, or being paired with Eva. The whole let's have Anna sing thing sounded like a major irritant to him.

KSJ sounded very frustrated about being out of work for 6 to 7 weeks. The man needs to find a guest spot on some primetime show or start a business on the side. Maybe he should follow Shemar Moore's example and start touring night clubs. I'd hate to have KSJ's alimony and child support payments.
