DAYS: Terrell Out , Ex-Passions Star Hartley In!

Soap Opera Digest is reporting Days of Our Lives star Felisha Terrell (Arianna) has been let go. Lindsay Hartley (ex-Theresa; Passions) will take over as Rafe's (Galen Gering) sister. The casting change has Hartley once again playing sister to Gering and will reunite the actress with former Passions leading man Eric Martsolf (Brady 2.0; ex-Ethan).

I am so excited. I love Lindsay Hartley, but I hope they don't hook her up with Brady. Chemistry doesn't work twice, but I don't know. Maybe it will.

This is the greatest news since passions was my favorite soap up until nbc pulled the plug.In my opinion nbc should've just spun these characthers off to salem.I think nbc finally realizes the misfortune of cancelling passions and is doing whatever it takes to get those lapsed viewers from passions to watch days.This might be a good idea believe or not passions had a strong following.Jamey i guess our dream of lindsay as bitchy bangs 2.0 is over

Wow. I wonder if this has anything to do with Felisha appearing on VH1's "The T.O. Show", her ex-fiance and NFL star Terrell Owens's reality show. Could that have been a possible violation of her contract? I didn't think she was horrible at all. I do think Lindsay Hartley is a good addition though. She was one of the Passions people that I thought would be the first to get a job after its cancellation.

Hoosier, I didn't even realize that was her on TO's show! While I like Lindsay a lot, I don't think that it was fair for them to do this to Felisha. If they wanted to do the Ethan/Theresa redux TIIC should have brought her in first. I actually like Arianna and Brady as they are now. They should have brought Lindsay in as the "presumed dead" Emma. Then down the road she would have had more options than Brady/Ethan.

OK, I just started watching Days again because of Grace's death. I actually like Felisha Terrell as Arianna. In fact, she's one of the few people I DO like in the younger set on Days right now. I wonder why they canned her?
As for Lindsay Hartley, I wasn't a fan of hers on Passions. I think the only people I liked on Passions were Kathleen Noone, Ben Masters, and Eric Martsolf. And the ONLY reason I liked Eric was because/is beautiful eye candy! I don't think they will be able to catch the chemistry in a bottle twice. Have TPTB learned nothing? It didn't work with Ricky Paull Goldin/Beth Ehlers (GL/AMC), Stephen Nichols/Mary Beth Evans (Days/GH), Jason Cook/Kirsten Storms (Days/GH). Just leave it alone. Pick the actor that is best suited for the role and if sparks fly, well go with it. Too bad for Felisha, I will miss her! I hope she moves on to bigger and better!

That girl could cry at the drop of a hat, and as much as I hated Theresa, LH never failed to make me believe that Theresa truly believed that her crazy ideas were the right ones LOL It'll be interesting to see her playing opposite ex-Luis and ex-Ethan again... But I didn't mind the current actress in the role, she really wasn't that bad.
In any case, I'm excited for LH, I always thought she was one of Passions' breakout stars and was surprised another soap didn't snatch her up (I adore Vanessa Marcil, but could always picture LH being a Brenda recast on GH)

That's funny how this happened right after Nelson interviewed the guy who plays Rafe and they asked why she hasn't been on soaps since Passions was cancelled. I'm sure the actor knew but couldn't say anything til it was final.
I also wondered why she wasn't picked up from another show right away. Same with the girl who played Alison on Port Charles, I was suprised she hasn't landed a big role since.

I thought Felisha had grown in the role and was really coming into her own. With that said, Lindsay Hartley has a strong fan following from Passions and is a good actress. I am sure she will do great in the role as well.

I actually liked Felisha in this role. Happy to see Lindsay get a gig. She was one of the only people on Passions worth watching. I wish Ben Masters would get another daytime gig. Julian Crane was one of my guilty pleasures. I saw the Allison on PC mention earlier. Why Erin Hershey Presley has not found a contract role on another show, I'll never know. She was awesome.

I swear, I called this! Felisha Terrel is a horrible actress. She played Arianna as a smug little twit when the role called for a tragic, headstrong heroine that was afraid of getting her heart broken again. Days is shaping up to be the soap that is a part of my heart again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lindsey worked as Galen's sister & Eric's love interest before. I just pray that it works again!!!!!!

YAY!!! I LOVE LINDSEY HARTLEY!!!
I have just not been able to warm up to the other actress in the role of Arianna, she just comes across as so bitchy, and constantly angry, especially with Sami. Quite frankly, I was finding this entire storyline to be rather tiresome, and this may be the shot in the arm that it needs!
Add to this the fact that Louise Sorrel will be returning as Vivian Alamain, and DOOL will be batting 1000!!!
So great that Lindsey will be playing Galen's sister and Eric's girlfriend again! Perfect casting - talk about Deja-Vue!!!
I am really looking forward to this, does anyone have a start date for this?

Yes - on The Diva of DOOL Blogsite (http://divaofdaysofourlives.blogspot.com/), she broke the story on the 17th that Louise Sorrel is coming back as Vivian!
She also hinted that she would not return alone, i.e., maybe Madam's beloved Ivan would be returning with her?
I certainly hope so!
