Elizabeth Keifer in Morning Glory
By Luke Kerr on July 19, 2009

Guiding Light's Elizabeth Keifer recently did an interview at Red Room and in it discusses the relationship between Ross and Blake, Otalia, her upcoming role in Morning Glory opposite Jeff Goldblum and a role in a theater production of The Secret Garden.
On the relationship between Ross and Blake - Blake's only real brush with true love:
The good stuff between Ross and Blake was wonderful, and I always thought there wasn't enough of it. I know people like to see intrigue and angst, but I really think it would have been worth exploring the good times in their relationship further, because being happy together doesn't have to mean being boring.

This was a terrific interview. So cool that Liz Keifer was a fan of the show when she got the role of Blake. Loved reading her impressions of Otalia, Roger/Holly, etc...

per liz keifer's red room interview:
< As for Guiding Light, I really believe it's going to continue to exist in some way, shape or form. I expect to get a call, even months down the line, saying, "We've been picked up and we want you on board," and I fully intend to be a part of it. >
thanks for some positive feeling
b/t/w: what a shame it took this to bring her character to the forefront again, cant wait to see holly and C.Blake again...

I'm going to miss seeing Liz and the rest of the cast.
Realistically, I think P&G will continue Guiding Light in a text format like Another World Today. That would be dirt cheap for P&G since it would only need to hire a writer.

What's with the recent rumor about NBC perhaps showing interest in the show for 1/2 format?
Seems like EW is on the war-path when it comes to her storylines. Is it possible that word got back to her that PGP/Telenext is shopping the show without her and to be filmed in a normal studio?
Folks should check out SON and Soaps.com..
There are lots and lots of spoilers out there.
Some really crazy stuff is coming up on the show.
I'm going to assume that Frank & Blake are hooking up, based on this interview.
Wondering what brings Holly to town, but honestly there doesn't need to be a reason, she is afterall Blake's mother, she could easily just drop in to say hello.
I'm still wondering if all the insiders are going to be correct when it comes to all the people getting offed by the show.
Also, what's the deal with Jefferey, is he dead or alive.
Seems Dinah is going to be in some trouble soon enough.
To bad the show never gives any focus to Dinah & Blake's relationship. But then again they don't even bother with Vanessa & Dinah.
in the current CBS Sids, seems TP (jonathan) won't be around for that long this trip, based on comments from KZ.

re:
now wouldn't that be grand,
personally i do like the outdoor scenes. but w/ a s/l that respects the show's rich history,
its amazing how so many of the veteran characters can show up now, but, s/l's could not be developed to bring them back sooner, and since ew was the boss it was her responsibility to set the show's focus, hire the writers, etc. if y&r can do it, certainly gl can
