John McBain (Michael Easton) is one of daytime's most boring, snore inducing, mind numbingly painful characters to grace our screens over the last ten years. However, on those rarest of rare occasions–usually in scenes opposite David Vickers or when playing "father" to Cole–we see a different side of John. Today was another such moment. when he found Tea at the gun range. Tea's return to Llanview has been fantastic. Florencia Lozano has chemistry with anyone and everyone, but after today's episode I was left wanting to see what type of romantic chemistry John and Tea might have. Maybe it was sexual chemistry brought on by the sharing of a gun, but there's untapped potential between these two.

Honestly I can't picture actually one pairing that I would enjoy with John in it. This man is just so non sexual to me ... it not even funny. LOL OK, it kind of is. But no ... not even the living sexual chemistry aka Florencia Lozano can win me over there.
And she needs to be with Todd anyway.

I'm an ME fan and definitely an FL fan-- I have to say, THAT WAS HOT!!!! Tea/ FL has chemistry with a tree and she proved it by making John hot to me for the first time in eons. I also have to say that I think part of the reason the scene was hot for me was because ME looked really good! They insist on not combing his hair on that show and putting him in the pallbearer outfits. But when he put those shades on today and fired that gun (even in his pallbearer outfit), it was just HOT!!! I'd love to see more of these two. I thought they were great at the Go Red Ball and wanted to see more then. I hope that TPTB do whatever it takes to keep FL on that show. There are SO MANY possibilities with Tea!!
And P.S., today's show indicated once again why Robin Strasser needs to stay on the show. She's just amazing.
God, I love this show! Beats the hell out of AMC and GH!

I'm a casual viewer of OLTL, but not casually watching now. However, I have seen Michael Easton as John McBain and have commented before that for such a good looking guy, why is it that he cannot hold my attention for more than a minute? Geez, I paid more attention when Nathaniel Marsten was on and he wasn't exactly my description of good looking, but he had a strong presence.
Can't OLTL have him turn into Caleb Morley every now and then? It could be like Jeckyl and Hyde. When Michael was on Port Charles as Caleb, I was glued to the set and he had chemistry with everyone. And with the current and always popular vampire craze, I'm sure OLTL's ratings would go up.
I remember when I heard he was joining OLTL - I was so excited. I guess the old adage applies, be careful what you wish for.

Tea and Todd are on fire! I would love to see how Todd would react if Evangeline came back that triangle would be amazing! Todd and Evangeline and amazing chemistry. Todd and Blair are way to dysfunctional and they need to end that relationship for good.

I'd much rather have Todd, personally, but I think I'm falling under Lozano's spell! Seriously, how brilliant was it to bring her back?
That said, while I'd much rather have John have chemistry with the business end of Tea's gun, there is something there. But she could have chemistry with a stump. (Though in talking about John, that's redundant.)
I'm just tired of John being the toll booth every woman 20-50 in Llanview has to pass through. Why are there no other guys in John and Todd's age range to spice things up?

I don't have a pony in this race, but I think it's great that Ron Carlivati has enough confidence to mix it up with the quintangle of Tea, Todd, Blair, Marty, and John. Regardless of who end up with whom, these five are always enjoyable to watch and have great chemistry with one another. It shows what happens when a writer has creativity enough to think outside the box.
