Probably Nikki, since MTS has refused the obligatory paycut, the same one Jess Walton took. So much for Scott's statement from her rep "staying on the show on her own terms for now." HA! Says who? She's not the one calling the shots.
If this ("killing off Nikki") doesn't get her to put up and shut up--nothing will.

Yeah, I think Summer is the obvious choice here, right? That would make MJ a child-killer. Can a character recover from that? If this is true, it also means that don't want to play the Jack is the father of Summer story line.

Unfortunately, this probably means Summer but it then means killing off SO MUCH story potential -- not just now (Jack as Daddy or if Nick his her father than a version of "My sister's keeper" for the new baby) but also for the teen years -- imagine the teen angst for the girl who feels Daddy never loved her as much as his other family...
I also hate this because SPOILER ALERT it probably means that Phyllis will go on trial for murder... It'll give Michelle Stafford a chance to shine but it is just too much for her especially since there is no promise of eventual happiness (two miracle babies in a lifetime is a little much to hope for).

MTS isn't leaving; and would they REALLY kill off Summer? When's she's a 20 year old (in four years) the daughter of Phyllis will be AWESOME! I can't see the head writers offing her....

Is Y&R cruel enough to kill off two of Nick's children? I think its Nikki and the death will be written in a way that MTS can come back if her contract issues are resolved. Does anyone know what the latest is on the MTS contract issue?

They killed off Nick (in a plane crash) before, when he was debating whether or not to stay with the show. All of a sudden Josh Morrow is having *the talk* with his wife decides to stay and POOF!--Nick has miraculously survived and in a cabin with amnesia.
I could totally see them doing the same thing to Nikki. I hope they have her get mauled by lions and just bring back a different actress with a new face.

I love the idea that "someone close to me" means geographically rather than family/friend because I too would love to see Tyra go.
Maybe it's Eden? Anyone, anyone? Her story is sort of nonexistant lately.
I was hoping that Summer being hospitalized was a way to reveal Jack as the father, and since they went through the trouble of getting a new actress it seems like a waste if all she'd do is lie in bed and then die.

Victor won't take responsibility for bringing Mary Jane to town, he'll end up blaming Jack. He blames Nikki for brining David Chow to town and wasn't Victor the one that brought David to town.

I think it will be Nikki but they won't be able to find her body. She will be presumed dead (much like Dru is). Then Nikki will reappear again down the road. Victor will decide he wants to be with Nikki again. Abby may join Noah in the emancipation route. Imagine Eden/Noah/Abby all living under one roof together, lol.
I can't imagine them killing off Summer at all. I do have to say it would make for some good s/l's.

NB's comments from yesterday are exactly why I think this is MTS' Nikki. Nothing would be more shocking than "killing off" Nikki. (Quotes because I dont think she will be found). And the one who does it: Adam. Nikki is screaming from the roof tops that Adam is behind the gas lighting - that will get her in trouble.
