Wally Kurth Returns to Salem!

Justin Kiriakis is heading back to Salem! Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Wally Kurth (ex Ned Ashton, GH; ex Sam, ATWT) will reprise his role on the NBC sudser. As a General Hospital fan, are TPTB making some huge mistakes? With Lynn Herring returning to daytime over at ATWT and now Kurth headed back to Days maybe Jamey's wishful casting wasn't too far off. It seems to me that plenty of GH alums are ready and willing to return to daytime and I'll bet the ranch that GH never called Wally either.

Kurth is a great actor and I never understood why GH didn't keep him in story. I'm happy to hear Justin Kiriakis will be back in Salem. Now, if the show can bring Judi Evans back as Adrienne.

I love Ned... and as I heard that Michael is moving to live with the Q's isn't it the opportunity to bring Ned back...
GH needs to get back to it's heart and that is the Q's.....
Tracy needs her son .... she can't take care of Luke's kids and not her own
So once again GH shows that it is not caring for the history...
we could have had Monica Edward Tracy Michael Jason and Ned... this could have been great scenes..
and now we will have only Michael???

i am glad but hope judi evans isnt coming back..i really havent liked her since AW. They could hook up justin and nicole...she has really been hitting it out of the park since her return.

Yes Jillian GH has once again disappointed this fan. Kudos to DAYS,dare I say it. They are definitely putting Deidre and Drake's money to use and while I am sure most DAYS fans would like to still have Doc and John at least they aren't wasting all their payroll on newbies that no one cares about. I don't have to stay true to my GH vow of positivity in a DAYS thread do I?

This is great news. I can see Justin involved in the Kiriakis/Dimera feud.
I know everyone assumes that Carly will be put in a triangle with Bo and Hope. I wouldn't mind Days exploring a Carly/Justin pairing.

LOL — Luke! I, too, suspect they'll pair him him with Carly. I doubt they'd bring back Judi, but I could be wrong about that. They'd have to bring all the kids with them. Judi could work as a good Tina Roberts on One LIfe.

I'm glad Wally is going to Days GH would just waste him shamefully. Days might actually write for him and another Kiriakis back in Salem will just be fabulous. If TPTB are listening to Jamie I hope that Louise Sorel is the next to be paged.

Well, it looks like I'm going to have to start watching DAYS. I've never watched before, but with Crystal Chappell and Wally Kurth, I'm not sure I have a choice. Maybe I can find room in the schedule if I take GH or AMC off my DVR. Those two are too awful to watch anymore.

More power to Wally Kurth. It will be good to see him back on the air. I probably have less than 15 months watching Days, and I don't watch it as regularly and faithfully as GH, but I have enjoyed most of what I've seen. While I don't miss Doc, I do miss John.
I assume Justin is another of Victor's descendants? How does he get along with Phillip? Does he know Brady? You know, it's not easy getting all the relationships straightened out.

OK, so it's awesome that Carly Manning and Justin Kiriakis are coming back. But what about that one old character that EVERYONE wants back? I mean come on, how many times in the past several years have you heard anyone say "god, I wish Carly would come back." Or "I wonder if Justin Kiriakis will ever come back." ZERO!!!!!!!! But how many times have you heard someone say "PLEASE OMG bring Vivian back to Days NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" TONS.
I welcome Carly and Justin back with open arms. But for f***sake, bring back the one person we all want back -- VIVIAN.
