After Elton Gets Exclusive Interview With One Life to Live's Scott Evans

After Elton.com has a new interview up with One Life to Live's Scott Evans (Fish) about Fish and Kyle's (Brett Claywell) upcoming gay storyline. Here's a sneak peek:
AE: I'm sure you're aware that there are still gay actors in Hollywood who are so concerned about being gay hurting their careers, they remain closeted to some extent. What informed your decision to be an out actor? I've interviewed Chad Allen about this, and some other actors, everyone has a slightly different take, so I'm curious about your thought process.
SE: You know, I have to tell you, I don't think I ever really had a thought process about being an out actor. I came out when I was 19-years-old, and then I became an actor. I didn’t want to be one of those people who goes back into the closet and tries to hide because I knew it would come out. With the success of my brother, I didn't feel it was necessary to hide it once I'd come out. I'm an out person, as opposed to an out actor, I suppose.

Such a great interview. Scott seems to be a very nice, sweet, good looking guy. Laughed (and loved) when he mentioned his mom at the end. So how is NOT taken already? I need to get the heck out of Michigan! LOL
I'm very much looking forward to this storyline. I think OLTL should be able to do a better job than ATWT.

No Problem guys. Im so looking forward to this story since reading the interview. Scott is very open and honestand he seems to get along with Brett which is why their chemistry is so good and Brett said in the brandonsbuzz interview he was looking forward to his story even though he never spilled anything outright. And then their adding the ne character Griffin who according to NB may be a CJ Roberts recast.
Bring it on.

I will start watching OLTL again once this storyline kicks into gear.
If Griffin is C.J., they need to bring back Andrea Evans ASAP. I would love to see her react to her gay son, and mix it up with David Vickers.
I stopped watching OLTL with all the K.A.D. redux, I will now have a reason to tune back in.
Fish and Kyle are hot!

Really good interview. Scott is candid, handsome AND on OLTL. He is a smart man, indeed.
I am looking forward to Oliver and Kyle's story on OLTL. I think it will be well done. And that will only help daytime dramas progress.
Remember when the soaps use to do social stories very well? (Especially AMC.) Re-embracing those roots would be a very good idea.
