The Bold and The Beautiful Wins at Monte Carlo Television Festival

Congratulations are in order for The Bold and the Beautiful on winning in the International TV Audience Award at the Monte Carlo Television Festival ceremony today. B&B were nominated in the Telenovela/Soap Opera category and for four straight years came out on top. On hand at the ceremony were our Jamey's friend in his head Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke), Ronn Moss (Ridge), Ashley Jones (Bridget), Daniel McVicar (Clarke) and, Head Writer and Executive Producer Brad Bell. The award shows that B&B is the highest rated soap globally in 2008. Hmmm anyone else shaking their heads........

Jillian, I want to know who did Brad bribe to get that award? Back in the day the show deserve it, but now this show is a hot mess and Brad needs to be removed from his duties as exec and get someone to save it. I feel that it is great for the soap, but B&B is bad and the Soup is making fun of it, not in a good way.

Ditto what Siomonstuart said. Other than the scenes with Lesley Ann D. and Brandon B., I'm just not into B&B.

The merry-go-round relationships are boring. The introduction of Bill Spencer fell flat. Sorry. I love Don Diamont but the story was lame.

No this is not based on ratings. This is an international award.

U.S. rating for B&B have dropped considerably over the last year. More viewers left B&B than any other soap.

The show revisits the same relationships over and over and over, and did I say over and over? The show needs to find some kind of spark because it just isn't there.

I haven't been able to watch ever since our cable company messed with the channels that were coming in without a digital box so I just got dish network and finally able to watch my favorite TV show again the bold and the beautiful.
