New Logo For As The World Turns?

Above is the new logo As the World Turns is using in their promotional ads and video's online. No word yet on it being used for the actual show, but is it possible the show is going to replace the current opening sequence? A new opening is not going to improve the show, but it wouldn't hurt.
What do you think of this new logo and would you like to see it on the show as part of a new opening sequence?

IMO the current looks better. A new opening wouldn't hurt though. This logo looks like something you can make on a home computer but its alright.

I agree. It does look like something a person would make on their home computer for a webpage logo or something like that. Not what you would expect for TV show.

I think the logo looks better when you see the animated version with the world spinning. I like this logo. I like the simplistic style.

I think too that when you see the animated version of it, it looks better and I like it. Rumor is there is a new opening coming so I would guess this logo is tied to that. Or when you see it in something like the banner ad they have for Rosanna's return, it looks really good. It unfortunately loses the impact just on it's own and not animated.

Does anyone remember the spinning glob? That’s what made ATWT known, TV shows use to comment on that, miss the spinning glob and the old theme, theme music identifies the program, they seem to have forgotten that; it would be nice to bring back some nostalgic. Here is a link from youtube ATWT and GL old theme music. If GL gets picked up and ATWT goes with them, they should bring it back, a thank you for the fans who worked so hard in saving the shows. This was back when soaps were soaps, back in the day.

It looks like the old logo from the early years of ATWT. If only the show was that good now.
