Creepiest Scene Ever?: Adam Newman as Sabrina

Ok, this may be the creepiest The Young and the Restless screencap I've done over the past two years. When Ashley's mental image of Sabrina morphed into the real-life image of Adam (Chris Engen) dressed as Sabrina, wearing a black wig and sporting a 10 pm shadow chills went up and down my spine. The timing of thunder and lightening as Ashley realized it was Adam and not Sabrina was soaptastic. This storyline just keeps getting better and better. What did you think of today's creepy scene? I loved everything about today's US episode. The storm,power outage played perfectly into setting the stage for several pivitol moments between characters.
Talk about a Friday cliffhanger. Jack & Phyllis "consoling" one another. Crazy Mary Jane making the rounds of eye-witnessing moments that could push her that much closer to total insanity. Sabrina's fall and Adam in twisted drag.
Bravo MAB & gang for bringing the drama back to soapland.

The only thing that is saving this storyline for me is Egen, but he's gone so I hope Sheriff Lamb brings the same kind of effect like Chris did, b/c poor Eileen is not doing it for me and that kills me to say, but better her be on a show not really impressing me than to be on a show that I don't even care to watch anymore.

The Mary Jane story line is moving too quickly. She's spinning out of control and is setting off red flags with every one.
It seems obvious that she's Patty Williams. However, doesn't it seem odd that Paul wouldn't recognize his own sister's voice? What kind of relationship does Paul have if he can't recognize her voice?

Loving Phyliss today, her performance was outstanding. Nick needs a good kick in the ass for his behavior, no one deserves to be jerked around like this. I cannot figure out what Nick sees in Sharon, she is a real drip. The need to rehire Keith Hamiliton Cobb STAT for Phyliss.
Adam is so horrible, and I am loving every minute of it. There is something about Chris Engen that makes him sexier and sexier as he gets nastier and nastier. What a shame he didn't want to kiss a boy. He and Rafe would have been on fire.
I am also loving Mary Jane, and her loony behavior. I hope she lets Sharon have it.

I hate Chris Engen for leaving. What's the real reason, man. Was Adam Wilson getting too much under your skin so much so that you were you having a difficult time leaving Adam on the set. Wonder if it was more psychological. I say all that b/c Chris Engen is brilliant in his performance as Adam Wilson - that's talent Chris. What were you thinking.

It really sucks that he bailed, but the new actor may knock our socks off. I loved him on Veronica Mars, he was a real smartass.
As for Chris Engen's Adam he is perfect. He has the best sneaky laugh on daytime. I love the way he annoys Nick, Jack, and Victor.

Today's episode of Y&R was EXCELLENT! And it was CLASSIC soap opera. Imagine that! All other daytime dramas still airing - TAKE NOTE!
LOVED Sharon & Mary Jane's spat.
LOVED Mary Jane's scenes with Paul.
LOVED Nikki's face and voice when she taunted Gloria about making a voodoo doll of Ashley.
LOVED Jeffrey's wilted Lothario as Mary Jane blew him off and walked away. (I even enjoyed Jeffrey and Gloria's "comedy routine.")
LOVED Phyllis telling Nick that she had no more tears and if she did she would not waste them on him.
LOVED the interplay between Jack, Ashley and Adam.
LOVED the CREEPY Adam as Sabrina scene. (But did it appear that Adam reached for Ashley as she was about to fall down the stairs?)
LOVED Jack and Phyllis "reconnecting" while Mary Jane watched tearfully. And psychotically.
And, finally, loved, Loved, LOVED Nick and Sharon reuniting. (Even though I still do not think that Nick is 100% sure of his love for Sharon.)
I think that it is no coincidence that today’s show was written by two of THE BEST script writers in daytime – Janice Ferri Esser and Tom Casiello. BRAVO to the two of them for ALWAYS meeting the challenge!
PS: Replaceable - Chris Engen, definitely. Melody Thomas Scott, NEVER!
