Now that General Hospital has re-written history and given Luke Spencer another son, Tristan Rogers (Robert Scorpio) is "weighing in" on the change.

GH has shown a photograph of Robert several times and emphatically stated on several occasions that Robert could be Ethan's father. Holly has even said Robert was the father. What has been your contact with TPTB regarding this story and Robert possibly having a son by Holly?It’s no great secret that TPTB don’t consult me much these days when it comes to story. However, it was said to me that in the beginning this WAS Robert’s child with Holly, and that was how it would be presented. If that had happened, there would be “no harm no foul”. But, of course, it didn’t and from here it will be interesting to see it all play out. The vagueness of the story has somewhat amused me. There are no real specifics here. Holly says one thing then another. Luke wants to be the father but he’s rather challenged when it comes to parenting skills. I mean, it’s a hard sell when it comes to being an engaging story.

Could you imagine the Scorpio family drama if TPTB brought Robert and Anna back, think about it Anna and Holly battling it out over Robert with their respective kids in tow with Luke and Mac on the side making snarky comments and the occasional supportive comment to Robert about the two women he knocked up. It could have been gold but now we just have trash.

Well, at least somebody in this situation has some sense.
I have thought from the start of this sham that Robert should be Ethan's father. It creates much more drama, much more INTERESTING drama, in my opinion. It brings back Robert. And it should certainly bring back Anna. It creates a triangle - scratch that- a rectangle with Holly and Luke thrown in. It brings family back to the fore front, and would put Robin to good use as well.
Also, for me personally, I like the Spencers just the way they are. There does not need to be another kid thrown in. It makes no sense.
And I happen to like Ethan, but this ridiculous story line is starting to hinder it.

Oh, how I love seeing my Robert and Holly together in that picture. It's interesting that Tristan was told Ethan was the son of Robert and Holly. He also says he expects a twist. Interesting. I hope he's right.
And no offense, I don't think Anna belongs in this storyline.

I completely fell in love with GH in the 80's....The Brownstone Murders, Frico 'n Felicia, and of course Robert, Anna, little Robin. It pains me to know that I don't think GH will ever get back to those standards again, and that's why I don't watch anymore. (Any headline w/Tristen Rogers however, easily pulls me in!)
Can Y&R find a place for him!? Pretty pleaaase? Paired up w/Nikki would be awesome. If Tristen played that potential character w/the humor and fun he at times played Robert...ohhhhh, a girl can wish.....!!

I love Emma Samms and Holly, but trashing her character to pimp the newbie is not like the old Holly. I glad that TR speaks out about his take on GH and not kissing their butts to come back to the show.

Does anyone understand Holly's explanation for lying to Luke and saying Ethan was Robert's son? I know she explained it to Robin but I still didn't understand it. Is it because she felt sorry for Lucky when he came to talk to her?
