Why blame the actors? Every one was all over Chris Engen for quitting because he didn't like his storyline. Both of these actors are GOOD actors but they have a lousy story. What more can they do? They could quit, but why should they?
I totally agree that the Vortex of Suck is real but it's not the fault of the actors.

I not blaming the actors, but I can't stand the characters and the show should just get over this couple because they are dull and bland and everyone must bow down to saintly Meg and Paul is a raging lunatic. Backburner them and put Nuke and Carly in a good s/l.

Roger is one of the best actors on daytime. So many are jealous of his airtime or afraid he's going to return to OLTL and show that imposter a thing or two about acting! LOL

Paul is a Todd-lite character that it isn't even funny anymore. I would love for him to go back to OLTL. Then Paul will be out of our miseries and then Barbara Ryan will be on screen.

Here is some great information on Saving As The world Turns. I miss the old theme the spinning globe from 1985. P&G would like a package deal when GL goes to cable, after there contract end ATWT will follow GL.

ATWT had a great Paul in Scott Holroyd and they dumped him for roger and made Paul Todd Manning
Also why didnt ATWT ask Jennifer Ashe To reprise Meg
