Mark Valley in FOX's Human Target
By Luke Kerr on May 21, 2009
Mark Valley (ex Jack Deveraux, Days of Our Lives) has been in a wide variety of primetime TV shows over the years. He's appeared on FOX's Pasadena, Keen Eddie and Fringe. ABC had him on Boston Legal and Once and Again. He's also appeared on NBC Universal's The 4400 and ER. Now FOX is giving him a second chance to headline his own show with Human Target. Human Target will premier in the midseason and share the time slot with Glee. What do you think of Human Target? Will you watch it and do you think it will survive?

It'll be interesting to watch and see how this compares to the 1992 Human Target series that starred Rick Springfield as Chris Chance. Signy Coleman also starred. Whether it will survive will depend on the writing and the appeal of the stars and the time slot.

Seeing Chi McBride on another show only makes the death of Pushing Daisies more real.

Is this show filmed in Canada? I saw a few familiar Canadian actors like Battlestar Galactica's Tricia Hefler and Donnelly Rhodes. Or is there just a BSG connection?
Either way, the show looks like it has a great cast. I might check it out. Of course, this being Fox, it will probably be cancelled in three weeks -lol!

Wow! The preview looks pretty awful.
Susan Lanigan,
I think Tricia Helfer has a talent deal with Fox where they are trying to find a vehicle for her. So, she guest-starred in the pilot. However, it makes sense if the show is filmed in Canada. Fox filmed the X-Files in Vancouver for years and is said to be taking Fringe to Toronto to save money (government rebates).

I like Mark Valey and Chi McBride, but this show looks pretty touch and go. I'll probably be watching Glee.
